I have opened 3 different shops over the past 3 years on Shopify. I started with cosmetics, then skincare and last apparel, clothing and skincare. However, I haven’t been able to garner enough interest in the products that I sell and not enough traffic at all. I am brand new to Affiliate Marketing (AM) at 72 1/2 years old. Just cuz I’m old doesn’t mean I do not see the income potential. I understand (through your videos) how traffic works. What I do not understand is the web infrastructure of websites/blogs/landing pages/funnels, etc. Are they all set up under one domain or multiple domains? Or should I restate, if marketing AM products that are related to each other would they be set up under one domain segregated from another type of products in another domain? ie Courses versus health care supplements vs financial products vs books etc. Hope I am asking the question in an understandable fashion.

Although, I made one $100 sale with my current program and a $16.99 sale for a Warriorplus product. I also want to know how to generate sales on a consistent basis. A few days back, I bought Solo ad from Udimi. I paid $43 for 100 clicks. I got 19 leads. Traffic was tier-1 USA. Though, did not get any sale with that but hope email follow ups with these leads would generate some sales in the coming days.

Hi Marcus, I can’t figure out how to get traffic with keywords that are the same as a site that has the same keywords. If I am just setting up a site and I put 25 pages with keywords difficulty 3-10 and 25 pages with kw 11-25 and so on and do this for say 100 pages, if my kw’s are just as good as the competition that has been around for 2,3,5 yrs, what is it that makes google show my page on the first page(not even pretending to get the #1 slot)
I know I can buy a site that already has all the kw rankings but what about the new site.
And it might be easy to get first page with difficulty 3-10 but that doesn’t mean you’re making money, you’re just getting maybe 1-3 visitors. Or is that the whole idea?
I get discouraged the minute I see how much competition a kw or website has. Just can’t figure I can possiby squeeze in there to make a living much less hundreds a day.

When it comes to prioritizing keywords with KD <29%, is it better to choose the higher volume keywords because it's more eyeballs and it has a *chance*, or truly just smash out all the 0% ones first because it more or less guarantees an appearance on page 1 of Google? For the same amount of eyeballs it would take ~40 pieces of content on the low-hanging fruit but then I would almost certainly get the eyeballs. If you were starting on a new keyword range today, would you go for the 0% first.
Marcus, I am going to be doing the coffee niche. I’m on a very fixed budget but I’m willing to do the work. Many of the questions above and below are similar to mine… with their own unique twists and turns. Mine certainly has one or two twists as well. Most of your teachings (90%), in your videos, recommends we put a relevant link on a webpage which sends visitors to a certain company/product who pays us for that visitor. And you give us a list of sites where thousands of these generous company/product are listed. The strategy is that we put relevant keywords, visuals, etc, on our webpage so that it’s at the top of SERPs. My question is, what if we are a company who wants to sell just our own product/service (you’ve touched on that in some of your videos). Especially if it’s a product that is already successfully being sold by any/all company who sells it, is in hot demand by 8 billion people, they buy it again and again year after year… should we just double down on this one-webpage-SEO-type strategy or do you recommend a whole additional arsenal of tools/strategy? Personally I am going to use blogging (you’ve talked highly of this method in several videos) I’ve even contemplated getting on the list of company/product, the supply side of your strategy. What if we are bootstrapping (refusing to go into debt so as to not share our billions with a bank etc), and have already expended all of our budget for this month, do you recommend we call you for your personal services after we’ve made a few more sales so that we can afford your partnership? Or would you prefer to get in immediately? Or, after we’re moving product successfully do you recommend we simply outsource to agencies like Neil Pattel, etc? Your preference is smaller companies or or do you consult major corporations as well? You prefer affiliate-marketing-type (marketing infinite amount of other people’s products), creating webpages to market for those company/product? Most of the online marketing teachers show you innovative ways to increase traffic or how to multiply your traffic BUT few show you how to get traffic from scratch. In other words, most seasoned marketers refuse to show how to get website traffic to a brand new site without using an existing email list or existing social media clout. It’s almost like they either forgot what it was like in their very beginning or they just don’t way to reveal it.
NEWSFLASH, it’s always easy to increase traffic that’s already flowing but most people who need the knowledge are complete beginners who have no existing traffic flowing so a thorough training for getting traffic from scratch is a MUST!
