how to buy a business with no money – secret strategy
Let’s face it. At the end of the day, you just want to make some money. But there’s a thousand different things you could do. You could buy a franchise, start drop shipping, get a vending machine, Shopify, start a blog, a YouTube channel. Yeah, it gets overwhelming.
Which is why today, I’m going to take you in the backyard office. We’re going to talk about the rule of three. This is a business rule that you got to follow if you want to put money in your pocket. But the problem is, most people are doing it wrong. So come on inside, and I’m going to show you how to do this the right way.
This is a hundred thousand dollars. More about this in just a minute. When I first started my business over 22 years ago, I was obsessed with these small business opportunity magazines, and these entrepreneur magazines, and all these different resources to help me learn how to make money online, offline, and basically become financially independent.
And I noticed that on all of these, they had different franchises and different businesses that you can join. And I was always confused as to what to do. I mean, some of these cost like a hundred thousand dollars. And back then, I didn’t have a hundred thousand dollars to my name. I didn’t even have a thousand dollars to my name. So what was I to do?
Do I call one of these guys that guarantee $10,000 a week? Do I endlessly comb through these startup and franchise magazines, trying to find something that’s affordable but will also put money in my pocket right away? Average income, $70,000 a year, startup cost 210 grand. 80,000 startup cost, $4,000 startup costs, but I got to get all the equipment and actually do the work of being a janitor? What happened to all this easy money stuff?
Okay. Now pay very close attention to this part, because this is where many people who want to make money get it wrong. First, if you are going to invest in a business, let’s say you take $100,000 to invest in your new business. Now, if you don’t have a hundred thousand dollars, don’t worry. I’m going to show you a zero-cost, zero-risk method in just a minute.
But just for illustration purposes, let’s say you do invest that a hundred thousand dollars in your new business. Once you invest it, the hundred thousand dollars is gone, and you now have hopefully a profitable business. Your first year in business, you could expect to make about $33,000. Your second year in business, you’re probably going to make another $33,000. And your third year in business, you are going to make another $33,000. Bringing the total profit after three years to equal the exact amount of your investment.
Wait a minute. Does that mean that no matter what I do, I’m not going to see any profit for three years? Well, yes and no. Let’s talk about a few key phrases here that you need to know in order to understand how this business works, and how you can start with zero money and zero risk.
The first thing we need to look at here is what we are actually investing in. Many times when you have a new business, you are investing in a certain thing. If you were to buy a McDonald’s, you’re investing in all of their hard work, and advertising, and systems and everything like that. Basically you open your doors and you get sales. But that also costs a pretty penny to get into.
Now there’s some cheaper options, like subways and bowling alleys, and other things like that. But again, nine times out of 10, you’re not going to see any profit for about three years. But there is something that you can invest in that doesn’t cost a lot of money, and doesn’t require a three year rate of return.
And that is something simple that you control. Think service-based businesses. My cousin actually started a blinds business where he got in for a couple of thousand bucks, they gave him the system. He had to go out and hustle and get business, but it paid off like crazy. So the second investment type is going to be in something that you have to work to build.
Obviously, the McDonald’s is done. You put the M on the building and people line up. That’s why it’s like $2 million. However, if you go for something less expensive that takes a little bit more work on your part, then you can invest what we call sweat equity, or your actual doing the work.
And there’s a couple other things we can invest in as well. First, let’s take a look at a customer list. This is where you’re actually investing in a list of customers that bought something. Or maybe you’re going to be someone in a regional area and the company does marketing, and you get that customer list.
Now, customer lists are very expensive, which is why lead generation businesses make so much money. More about that in just a minute. The next thing we’re going to look at investing in is actually really risky because it requires you to actually sell the stuff to get your money back and turn a profit. And this is investing in inventory.
This is where, if you were to buy an old business, let’s say you’re buying a vitamin supplement store and it comes with hundreds of thousands of vitamins and supplements, those would be your inventory that you can now go sell and make profit. Now, this is actually very risky because you don’t know if the stuff’s actually going to sell at the amounts that you hope it sells for, which means your money’s tied up ’til you figure it out. I would much rather focus on no-cost digital inventory. More about that in just a second.
And the problem here is that most people want the McDonald’s-type investment that’s hands off, it’s all done for you, but they don’t want the McDonald’s-sized investment. Which means, what are they going to do? Do you just go out there and start a business and voila, you’re going to get rich? Do you call one of the shysters in the magazines that promises money overnight? Or is there a better way?
First of all, you need to understand the valuation of what you want. Let’s say you want to make $10,000 each and every month. Well, using our rate of return, what we need to do is get our yearly figure, which would be $120,000, times that by three, and your little idea of, I just want to make 10 grand a month is actually a business that would cost $360,000 to purchase.
So when someone comes to me and says, “I’m not greedy, I just want 10 grand a month.” You got to look at these numbers and it needs to make sense based on what you’re going to do. So let’s go ahead and define some of these terms, and then talk to you about zero money invested, zero risk method to making this work.
The first thing we’re going to look at is SDE or Sellers Discretionary Earnings. This is basically the profit margin the seller has at the end of the year.
Next we have ROI, or return on investment. This is the amount that you make on your investment. If you invest a hundred thousand dollars and make $8,000 a year off of it, you’re getting an 8% per-year return on your investment.
And lastly, we have the term multiple. This is your SDE times a certain amount to arrive at the number the business is valued at. If you are making $120,000 a year at a 3X multiple, you’re at $360,000. So our multiple would be 3X.
Pay close attention to this next part.
So, since most of us don’t have huge amounts of money to invest in these businesses, maybe we have a little bit of money or no money at all, here’s what we want to do. We want to use leverage.
Leverage allows us to use less money and more of our work, and our brain power, to make something work in a really simple way. For example, if I have zero money, what I can do is build something of value. Now, it might take a little bit more time. But again, even if you’re investing all this money in these businesses, you still got to wait three years to get an ROI or a return on your investment.
So what we’re going to do is, we’re going to do like a 90 day plan. Where we go out there and do something very, very specific. Maybe I’m going to go out there and build a YouTube channel, or I’m going to build a blog, or I’m going to get traffic to a TikTok or a whatever it is. And we’re going to use that traffic to make money.
This is something very simple. Because otherwise we would need to go out there and build something that is a brick and mortar business that’s going to cost us some money. Which adds a lot of risk into the equation. And what I’ve been doing for the last 22 years is build sites from scratch, or either take over sites that people don’t know how to use or make money with.
Let’s say, for example, I want to build a website about ponds. Maybe people that want to put backyard ponds, or need pumps for ponds, or plumbing or whatever it is. Gardening-type stuff. I’m going to go out there and find all the different things. People are searching for, like pond kit, patio pond, pond pump, pond supplies, and on and on we go. And we could see that a lot of these terms get lots of search traffic.
I can also see that there’s lots of products on Amazon, Home Depot and many other places related to ponds. And since Amazon, Home Depot, and other pond stores have affiliate programs, I can get paid for generating traffic for free.
I can also see that on ClickBank, there’s several different guides teaching people how to set these ponds up. We even have various different hydroponic gardening courses, and all kinds of things like that. So as you can see, there’s lots of ways to make money in this niche.
So if I had no money, I could go out there and start a YouTube channel and start talking about ponds, or whatever niche I go into. Or if I have a little bit of money, I can get a domain name like pondspecialguy.com, or howtostartyourownpond.com, or something like that. Or if I have a little bit more money to invest, I can actually find domain names that are expired or at auction that have to do with this niche.
Just like this one I found, pondtastic.com. I bought this one less than a week ago for $356. And not only is the domain name worth more than I paid for it, I can also see that this domain ranks for all different kinds of words related to ponds; koi pond cost, fountain installation, water features, waterfall cost, and on and on we go. So this domain quite literally has traffic right now. Which means that for less than 500 bucks, I’m in business with traffic that can be making me money tomorrow.
So now all I need to do is build this site up, build the rankings, get the traffic, point them to the things that make me money, and boom I’m in business. And of course later down the road I can do drop shipping, I can find different products, I can do all kinds of things to put more money in my pocket.
And just to give you an example, here’s another website in this niche that’s got over $84,000 a month worth of traffic going to their website. Which means the potential of this market is huge. And this is something I do all the time. Here’s a website I bought for expecting mothers and new mothers that want different things about bottles and stuff like that. All kinds of traffic, tons of potential, tons of rankings. And I just bought this one today for 250 bucks.
Here’s another one. I got, sadlight.com. This one cost me about 1200 bucks, but the potential is huge. All I have to do is talk about different therapy lights and point to the things that make me money, and boom, I’m off to the races. And these are the kind of sites and niches people are using every day to make thousands, hundreds of thousands, and even millions of dollars each and every year.
And you could start with zero money by doing a YouTube channel, a medium, a free blog or something like that. Or, if you have a little bit of money, you can use my method and get domain names and get hosting and set this up the right way.
And the idea is very simple. While other people are out there spending thousands of dollars on venting machines, and franchises, and things like that to make a little bit of money, like $5,000 a month, I’m out there setting these sites up and lots of them make me tons of money each and every day.

We’re rolling out to show you some of the craziest ways people are making money online. Today, we’re talking about water. One guy I’m going to show you that’s making thousands of dollars drinking water on YouTube. Some other guys pouring in the profits with water websites. And a secret method you won’t even believe that’s making as much as $10,000 a month. And that’s all right here right now on Affiliate Marketing Dude.
All right, so this is a niche that I came across by accident. I was actually going out there and buying domains as I often do. You could see all the different domains I’ve been buying over the last couple days right here. And one of the domains I came across right down here, floridageomatics.com. After some careful investigating here, I actually could see that this site was about the quality of different types of city waters and water and pH and chemicals and everything like that. And I instantly got a super profitable idea. So I decided to bid on that domain and I actually ended up winning it for $204. And I could see all the different keywords that this ranked for. I can also see other sites that point back to me for various different city water type keyword. And I’m going to get into how that’s going to make a lot of money in just a minute. But first, let’s dive into the $6,000 a month plan or the five ways to make money online drinking water.
Method number five here is an interesting one. This is where I went out there and found people actually making money doing nothing other than drinking water on YouTube and TikTok. Wait a minute. What? Yep. That’s right over here on TikTok there’s all these different people drinking water. And over here on YouTube, there’s tons of videos where people are literally just drinking water. Now let’s face it, in order to get a bunch of money, you’re going to have to make a bunch of videos and get a bunch of views. And you’re also going to need to do something a little bit more secret. You see, if you just make videos on water and drinking water and stuff like that, you’re not going to make much money because these don’t pay a whole lot. However, if you do something that I like to call flip the market, you can actually take these people from your video or simply have a segment of your video where you talk about water filtration.
Now again, water, drinking water, very inexpensive, very cheap. Water filter, very expensive. We could see that this traffic is worth a heck of a lot more money than just plain old water traffic. And if I could start to mix it up where I make a video about drinking water and talk about filters at the end, or then come out with a video all about filters, those videos are going to trigger much more expensive ads and put more money in my pocket. In fact, if you were to go out there and have a channel, getting hundreds of millions of views where you’re just drinking water, I’d venture to say that I could probably make more money if I just had a couple thousand views looking at water filters. So method number one is pretty simple. You could go out there and make videos of yourself, drinking water.
Now let’s dive in to method number four, review and test water bottles. We all know that there’s way too many different brands of water. And frankly, I can’t tell the difference carbon, no carbon; spring, municipal source. What? And you could quite simply go out there and review different water bottles. Yeah, the actual container or the different brands of bottled water. This is something very simple, but people overlook it because they don’t really think of it as a way to make money. But here on the Affiliate Marketing Dude, we got a little problem and we need to find a way to make money with damn near anything. And some of these sites I found were getting tons of traffic from different water bottles and different waters to drink. Some even list the ingredients in various different types of water you could buy over the counter. And what you’re going to notice is lots of people search for lots of different water bottles.
Just take a look here. Water bottle is searched for over 609,000 times a month. Then there’s different brands of water bottles and take a look at that competition. It’s pretty much non-existent, which means this traffic is going to be super easy to get. And the list just keeps going on and on. And if I isolate it to just three competition or less, watch what happens. Over 1.2 million searches a month, 8,300 different keywords, all with different types of water bottles. Yeah, but Marcus, how am I going to make some money? Number one is to be an Amazon affiliate and sell the water bottles. Number two is to find something different. Maybe you can flip them into water filters, or you can even go to OfferVault and find various different water bottles that have a little zing to them. Like this one is a water bottle that’s small. The one above is some kind of smart filter water bottle. And it pays us $45 and only costs our customer 59 bucks. You can find all kinds of different offers like this that’ll pay you to sell the various water bottles.
Now, you’re going to want to make sure that you’re an affiliate of a big box store, like maybe a sporting store or Amazon so that you can tackle some of this traffic in a really easy way. But method number four, reviewing and testing water bottles is a surefire way to put money in your pocket.
And now let’s dive into number three, review water softeners and filters. This is a lot like method number four, only instead of reviewing water bottles, you’re going to actually review the softeners and filters, which cost a lot more and it’s going to make you a lot more. Here’s a website I found that’s comparing different water filters. He’s got 4,000 keywords. He’s only getting 1,700 visitors a month and we already established this traffic’s pretty easy to get. And he is making like $2,500 a month or more. Here’s another one, Water Filter Guru, with over 57,000 different keywords. And he is raking in, wait a minute. What? Over $177,000 a month. Here’s another one doing $12,000 a month. And you could see here, they’re talking about all different types of water, water filters, water softeners, water drop filters, and the list just goes on and on. And you can see here on YouTube people reviewing water bottles, water filters, with over 2.3 million views. Water filter pitchers test.
Wait a minute. So you’re telling me someone went out, bought a water bottle and a little test kit on Amazon for like $13. Put the little test strip in the water, showed the process on YouTube, and got paid? Yeah, but Marcus, I don’t have $13 for every bottle of water. Don’t worry. This comes with lots of test strips. This is all these people are doing, is testing water. We can even see water testing. People are testing different pH water bottles and getting paid. And you can see here if we type in water filter affiliate program, these companies are paying big bucks to get you to find people to buy their water filter. Wait a minute. So I just go water bad, filter good, and then put money in my pocket? Exactly. But it gets even easier than that, but first, drum roll, please. Number two are honorable mentions.
The first honorable mention that I found, which is a pretty good way to make money is to make videos on how to manifest anything using the water technique. As we know, people are obsessed with the law of attraction and manifesting and everything like that. And apparently, I can manifest my heart’s desire with a bottle of water. So I can make all kinds of videos about how to manifest stuff, using the water technique. I simply Google it, learn about it, test it out and show people what I learned. Pretty simple. Isn’t it?
Our next honorable mention is to sell drinks at work. Yeah, I guess you could take some drinks to work and sell them. Although this guy only made $120 in five days, which isn’t even enough to put gas in my mini Jeep.
You could start a bottled water business. Wait a minute. What’s that? Ice vending machines. $71,000 with ice vending machines. This looks awesome. According to Ice House America, the average machine runs 43 to $150,000. Unless I got like a hundred grand, I’m kind of out on this one.
And now, drum roll please for the best method to make money, drinking water, drinking water, drinking water. And that is number one, to start the water quality report website. You’re going to love this one. Quite simply, what we’re going to do is get a bunch of water tests like the one I showed you earlier and test city water, or if you don’t want the tests, we could simply read reports on websites. Right here is a report of the water in my area. I could download it, read it, and provide a concise breakdown of how the water is in my area. Spoiler alert. It sucks, which is why we buy water up the road from Mr. Water purifier guy. And if I use my keyword tool here and type in water quality, you’re going to see all different types of cities and places that people are looking for water quality of. All right, we’re going to need the money gun on this one, because if you remember, the traffic for the water filters and water bottles was pretty easy to get, but this is even easier. And it easily leads into a secret-hidden profitable market.
So here we can see lots and lots of people looking for different water quality tests and tests by zip code and different things like that. You can even go deeper and check out different zip codes and city names and everything like that. And all these people are looking for the water quality in their area. And since most cities don’t do a really good job of filtering the water, most people, yep, you guessed it, are probably going to want a water filter anyway. And you can see sites like My Tap Water are doing this all the time. And all we need to do is find these low competition keywords, write a blog post, upload the latest water report from whatever city there is, or it’s simply linked to it. And then have a little button on our site that says, if your water quality is below 50 or however they measure it, you should look into getting a whole house water filter. Well, today, ladies and gentlemen, we’re going to talk about that exact process.
Now I know there’s a lot of people out there that say you can’t get rich quick. So we’re going to show you how this works, because these are very simple software tools that we make.
These are not huge. Now I want to tell you this because as I was prepping for this video, I started to think, “Oh, I wonder how my friend’s doing?” This is a friend that came to me back in 2018. 2018, I’m hanging out, doing some social media marketing on Facebook, and someone messages me and is like, “Hey, I’m a friend of a friend. Would you be cool if I interviewed you for my podcast?” And I’m like, “Sure, podcasts are fun. This could be cool.” So she interviewed me for her podcast and she was talking about how I was doing these little software tools, giving them away, building them, selling them ,how I was making millions of dollars in software. I think that was the name of the podcast. You can go look it up and see the old podcast from back then and everything like that.
So we looked at it and I taught her this. And then, she’s like, “That’s pretty cool. I like your business model. I like learning about business models.” And here she is here from when we did our software training class together a couple years ago, which was a hit. Now the software training class is not open. So if you’re like, “Oh, Marcus, this looks like some clever pitch to get me to buy something.” Don’t worry. You couldn’t even buy it if you wanted to because it’s not on sale. This is just for the picture here. Right? And so, fast forward. So we had this podcast and I was on the podcast. She asked me all kinds of questions about this because she wanted to get into internet marketing and affiliate businesses. And she didn’t know which direction to go. Everyone was telling her, do this, do that, do this, do that.
And for some reason she liked what I had to say. She’s like, “Hey, that business seems pretty cool. This Marcus guy seems kind of cool. He’s a little weird, but this is kind of cool.” Right? And so I didn’t hear from her for like a year until, I think maybe six months later I heard from her and she’s like,” Marcus, I started this little software plug-in thing for Chrome. It cost me like $250 to make it. And I’m now making $7,000 a month.” And I’m like, “Hey wait, wait, what? Like, you just set this up? It cost you 250 bucks and now you’re making $7,000 a month?” Now again, ladies and gentlemen, please sit down. The results are not typical, implied, or guaranteed. The odds of you watching this video, going and doing nothing and making $7,000 a month are none. You’re not going to do it.
This takes work. This takes lots of business practice. This takes some money. This takes some risk. It takes some stuff. But what we are talking about, ladies and gentlemen, today is if you want to get big, big numbers. How many of you guys out there are like, “Wait a minute, this is cool. I can get some big numbers.” Or, you know, maybe you’re like Kim, and you’re like, “Hey, you know what? I just want to get started and make $7,000 a month or whatever it is.” Okay, that’d be cool. Or maybe you’re just like, “Hey, I want to make $500 a month to pay for my new car” or whatever it is. Okay. So we look at that. Now, fast forward, I just talked to Kim last night and I was like, “Hey, I’m going to talk about you on the webinar. Give me an update. How you doing?”
Hadn’t talked to her in like two years. She just said that they just did over $2.3 million in software sales of the little tools that she learned to make a couple of years ago from this plan that I’m going to show you today. So if you’re like, “Hey Marcus, what is it? What gives?” All right, this is what I told her. She didn’t buy any course. She didn’t come hang out. She didn’t get anything extra. What I taught her was on that podcast. And what I taught her is going to be even in more detail today. How’s that sound? Does that sound like it’s worth a like? But we look at this and we’re like, these people have software businesses. That is what they’re doing. Now, let’s talk about how we’re going to do this and how it’s going to work because there are some hacks. You might be saying, “Well, software equals Bill Gates.” All right. I won’t even try to draw Bill Gates, but there he is.
Right? There’s Bill Gates. And you might be saying, “Well, software equals Bill Gates equals difficult. The guy’s like a genius. And I don’t know what I’m doing.” Well, neither do I and neither did Kim, but we figured it out. And guess what? I’m going to give you that plan right here, right now if you’re willing to listen, right? You could skip ahead. You could go watch other things, but you might miss something that could put money in your pocket. Imagine if Kim sat there and she’s like, “Yeah, Marcus sounds just like everyone else, whatever. I’m just going to go and watch whatever.” Right? What if instead you paid attention here and you really acted like you wanted to make money? I’m not talking about like, “Oh well, I do want to make money, Marcus. I’ve been researching.” Researching? Watching a bunch of videos does not mean research. That means you’ve been entertained, okay? Very important.
So let’s look at this and let’s understand exactly what’s going on because if we can follow the plan here, okay, The first thing we’re going to need is an idea. Now people come to me all the time and they’re like, “Marcus, Marcus, Marcus, Marcus, my friend, please sit down because I’ve got an idea that you need to get on the ground floor on.” And I say to them, “Come on over here, come on over here. Ideas are worth nothing.” Literally, they’re worth nothing. People think ideas are the hard part. They’re not, I’m going to show you. We’re going to get like a hundred ideas on this call. And there’s a way to look at the back door and find ideas that are guaranteed to work before you spend one penny building them.
This is what I do all the time. It’s not fancy. It’s not beautiful. It’s boring. But it puts a hell of a lot of money in my bank so that I can do things that are not boring. Right? So let’s look at this, let’s take a look. So the first thing we need is an idea. Again, pay close attention because people think the idea is the money hard part. It’s not. We’re just going to go and we’re going to let the internet tell us our idea. Okay? I’m not a genius. I don’t know what people want. I got to figure out what they want because of what they type in Google and what other sites are selling. Right? It’s simple. It’s a very simple process. People who over complicate this are not paying attention. So here’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to go and we’re going to look for ideas.
And the places we’re going to go look for these are places like Envato. Envato is a element plugin tool, software type place. We’re going to look at AppSumo. We’re going to look at, what’s the other one there? WordPress. Okay. We’re going to look WordPress.org. And I actually have some reports of these that I pulled up for you guys, which maybe we’ll make these available if you go to download my notes.com, put your name and email in. When I have these ready, we’ll send them out to you. And we could see exactly what’s going on. So we got WordPress plugins, Font Awesome, Elementor, Yoast SEO, and we could see exactly how many times a month these are searched for.
So if you want to make millions of dollars, are you going to do it with this one that only gets 900 searches a month? Probably not. All right. If you want to make millions, you might need something else. Now I will say WordPress Plot popup plugin, that appeals to all the WordPress people, even though they’re not searching for it. So that could be a broad market. Now let’s keep looking here. This is from wordpress.org. And what it does is it shows you exactly what people are looking for. Migration, featured post, excuse me, so they’re looking for a featured post plugin. Contact form seven dinosaur game. So people are looking for like a dinosaur game plugin, which is pretty cool, so if you’re in the game making market, that would be pretty perfect for you.
So we also have WordPress FAQ plugin, Woo Commerce. Now you might be saying to yourself, “Well, Marcus, Marcus, Marcus, buddy, old pal, please sit down because isn’t this idea already done? You’re telling me go over here find a WordPress Quiz plugin. And you’re telling me, okay, what I’m going to do is I’m going to make a WordPress Quiz plugin. But, Marcus, this is already done. WordPress Quiz plugin. Type Form has one. Jebbit has one. WP beginner, wordpress.org.” So there are some that are available here. Well, does that mean we can’t be there too?
More on that in a minute. Let’s get back to the plan here. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to take a look at this and we’re going to say, “Okay, I need to find something that looks simple that I can make better.” So I’m going to go through and be like, “Okay, WordPress Quiz plugin. Excellent.” Most of these are just going to be, “Here’s a quiz. Here’s this.” Okay. I’m a mar-
… Going to be, here’s a quiz, here’s this. I’m a marketer. So I’m going to go through, I’m going to be like, here’s how I want my quiz plugin. And this is what I’m going to do. I’m going to envision it. I’m going to be like, I want a quiz. And I want them to be able to have two to three… one, two, or three pages of quiz stuff. So I want them to have one, two, or three pages of quiz stuff. But I also, as a marketer, I want to get their data. So I want to collect data, and I don’t just want data of here’s what most people said. I want the data like, “Hey, put your name and email to get the result of the quiz.” And now I can market to you. Very cool. So, that is something I want.
So if I add the data bit, I make it easier, and I make it sellable. Then I can make this pretty good. Does that make sense to everyone? Smash a like button, type something in the box if you guys are understanding it. So what we’re looking at here is we’re going over to places like Envato, we’re going to look at AppSumo, we’re going to look at all the competitors. We’re going to take all the competitors, we’re going to start looking at their keywords.
And what we’re going to do is we are going to strip out stuff that we can use to build a plugin. This is how you build a real business, ladies and gentlemen. If you’re out there and you’re like, “I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to make money. Some guy says I could just push a button and get $10,000 a minute.” And you can, but you have to have $10,000 to put in this thing. And then you push it, and the money comes out. But you got to have money to start with. So that’s about all you’re going to get for push button.
The next best thing you have to do is understand exactly how to do this. How to do this, very, very, very simple. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to be like, focus. This is what we’re going to do. We are going to find what works. So we’ll do flyer webinar. I don’t know what that is. Interesting, though. I’d go look it up. Aesthetic templates. Envato element. Free video stock. So we’re going to go through, and we’re going to look… Template landing page. Okay, good. There we go. Template landing page. Excellent.
So now, this is something that’s very big. So we see here template landing page. So I could go through. Again, we go back to the drawing board and we’re like, well, maybe I got template landing page. What do I want to do? I could get some stock images. I could give them to my programmer. And I could say, “Make some little thing where they could drag and drop these images and make a landing page.” Simple. Very simple. Very easy to do. Then we say, “Hey, program this, make it work.”
Now what our idea or our job is, is to find out exactly what to do here. All right. Even if you don’t want to make an actual plugin, you could do a wedding template. You could do other stuff here. So we’re going to look at this portfolio. This is a big one. Watch this. If we do portfolio… Let’s do keywords. If we do portfolio here… Portfolio plugin or gallery plugin. These are big. All right, here we go. Now we’re cooking. Does anyone know why we’re cooking now? Why is this important? We got 300 global volume. We also have gallery plugin. We have photo plugin. So there’s another 600. Photo plugin for WordPress. Boom. So now we’re looking at this, photo gallery plugin. So now we’re looking at this and we’re like, we got three ideas here. And we’ll switch cameras so that you could see what’s going on here.
So we got three different ideas here. We got the landing page, we got the quiz, and we got the gallery plugin. Gallery plugin. Now again, with our gallery plugin, what we need to do is we need to say to ourselves, “How does this work? How are we going to make it happen in a real world way?”
Now, all we got to do is go back to our programmer and say, “Hey, this is what I want it to look like. I want a gallery plugin that does this, this, X, Y, and Z.” Pay attention. Focus. If you want to make real money, this is how you do it. You go pick it up. You make it happen. Are the results typical, implied, and guaranteed? Are you going to get rich just by watching this video? No, you’re not. But what I’m showing you is something that works time and time again.
So let’s say we have photo gallery plugin for WordPress. My job is to say, “Who is it that wants this?” Photo gallery plugin. This is going to be people like wedding photographers, photographers, artists, different things like that. And then I say to myself, “Well, what do these people want other than just a gallery plugin?” Because there’s tons of gallery plugins, but I want something specific. So if I make a specific one for photographers, where maybe they have… Hey, you can have your clients log in. And after they pay for their photos, now they can log in and get them. Or maybe it’ll have a scheduler for when you have your wedding or whatever it is. Very important.
Again, with all these features, I’m going to say, I could get this plugin built for less than $1000, probably in the 300 range. But let’s say 1000 because maybe I don’t know what I’m doing the first time around. Maybe I want some extra features. Maybe we run into complications, but most of these can be done extremely inexpensively. You guys saw last week. Last week I gave you guys a plugin. Again, remind me to talk to you about plugin giveaways, because that’s important as well. I gave you guys a plugin that works for WordPress, and it helps you put different links on different things. Important, simple, easy.
You guys look at this. You’re like, “Well, Marcus, I don’t understand how this works.” Look at companies like Linktree. It’s the simplest software in the world. I don’t like it. I have a better version of it, in my opinion, but it’s super simple. The coding on that probably costs next to nothing. Seriously. What if you could provide a better version, and you say, “Hey guys, instead of paying $20 for something you don’t even get a website or a domain, why don’t you [inaudible 00:20:04] $9, and there we go? You could have your own domain. You could use this plugin, which works like crazy.” Very important.
Wolf, we’re going to talk about who I hire to make the plugins in just a minute. This is going to be a full overview tutorial for those that are interested in learning, what I believe is the best get rich quick method there is, building software. Guys, if you get this, it can be life changing like it was for Kim. Her story was crazy. She just came in, and she’s like, “Hey, what do you do?” And I’m like, “Here’s what I do.” Later, she’s like, “I did what you do, and now I make money.” Which is pretty cool. I think she just had her own first live interactive meeting recently or seminar or whatever you call it.
So what we’re going to do is we’re going to take a look and look at these ideas. Look at what stands out, and then look at, very important, look at the bigger picture. That’s what old Bill Gates did. These kids came out, they made this company called DOS or this software called DOS, which is disk operating system. They had it. They thought it was cool because they were programmers. Remember, programmers are not marketers. They’re not. It’s just two different types of people, like people who are gardeners are usually not these or whatever it is. You’re just into a certain thing. Nothing wrong with that, but they’re not marketers, which is what we need to learn.
So what we have here is what’s a bigger picture. Bill Gates found the software. He was like, okay, IBM is selling a bunch of paperweights called computers for four grand. I think if IBM puts this software on their computers for free, they just give me a finder’s fee or whatever so I could develop other software, then they would like that. And so he did that with the idea, the bigger idea, that everyone’s going to want Windows. He already knew everyone was going to want the next thing he came out with, because now they all have this software on their tool. Very important that he looked at it in a different way.
So with us, what are we doing? Is this about a gallery plugin? Is that what we’re doing? We’re making a gallery plugin, and hopefully we’ll get enough sales to make these millions of dollars. No, that’s not what we’re doing. That’s not what we’ve ever been doing. This is what you got to understand because if you get it, that’s when it’s going to start to change everything. It is not about the gallery plugin. It’s not about the landing page plugin. It’s not about the quiz plugin. It’s about the people who buy these things.
If I have a list of all the people that are photographers that use WordPress, now we’re talking money. Did you guys just get that? Did you hear the aha moment there? How many of you guys got it? Smash your like button, because this works with anything you do. So what we’re going to do here is we’re going to take a look at this, and we’re going to say, now we got our ideas. We got our ideas. We’ll give you a couple more just in case someone wants an idea to copy, which is fine. We can go through and say, well, AppSumo’s got some decent ones here. Email examples, apparently a lot of people like email examples. That would be cool. I could put together a plugin with a mailing list software, might be a little expensive, with email examples. So install this, and you get custom templates that you just put my business, here’s my product. That way they don’t have to write their own emails. Hey, simple.
Or I could go through and say, well, maybe I’m going to do whatever these plugins are or a snap download or maybe something like podcast recording. So maybe there’s a podcast plugin. That’d be cool if I got all the people who do podcasting and stuff like that. Or maybe there are plugins for other different types of things. And we can look at these and see tons of them. There’s literally tons. Podcast software, scribe software, LinkedIn message template. So maybe there’s a LinkedIn plugin people want. There’s always something like that. LinkedIn in plugin. Well, plugin, we don’t want a lug in. We want a plug in. So we got a LinkedIn plugin. LinkedIn, WordPress, apparently people want a LinkedIn plugin.
And we can go through, we could do this with literally anything. You could do for WordPress. And what we’re going to do is we’re just going to find what works. Membership sites for WordPress. And we could go through and be like, well, maybe I could make a membership plugin, or maybe I could do this or that. And I’m going to show you in a minute how to see if this stuff actually works and how to test it on your traffic before you actually build this stuff.
So what we’re going to do is we’re going to use all these sites. We’re going to look at their keywords. Because they got lots of keywords, and it tells us what people want. How to sell photos online. Okay, great. Sell photos online. Now that’s got 2600 searches a month, and we can make an app for that super easy. You go to your programmer, and you’re like, “Okay, here’s what I want you to do. I want you to make a plugin that literally puts their photos up, so it’s going to be a gallery plugin. And then we’re going to have a little button that goes to PayPal-
And then we’re going to have a little button that goes to PayPal. And then after they pay at PayPal, they could download their photo. And now, ladies and gentlemen, you can sell photos online. Really simple, right? You could do all kinds of stuff here, and you can find all kinds of different things: Photoshop, photo editing, all kinds of stuff. Right. And if you go through and you just start to look at this stuff and say, “Hey, wait a minute, people are looking for all these plugins and tools for WordPress,” there you go. You literally have a built in marketplace that’s ready to buy what you have to offer.
It’s like if you went to the store and you’re like, “Hey clerk, whatever people ask for that we don’t have, keep a log of it.” And at the end of the day, he comes in and he’s like, “Hey, everyone wanted orange grapes.” I’m like, “Well, I don’t have any orange grapes. Maybe we’ll start buying some orange grapes. People want them; I guess it would probably work.” Then you put them on the shelf and everyone’s like, “Oh, it’s like you read or mine.” No. It’s like, you told me what you want because you did.
And we can look at these lists. Again, I’ll have these available at Download my Notes when they’re ready, and you can see exactly what plug-ins they’re looking for. And I’ve developed tons of plugins and tools and software since about 1999, and it works like crazy. WordPress chat room. There you go. All kinds of stuff. Or you could even do plugin, like WordPress plugin, like X. Facebook like plugin or plugin for, or plugin whatever. And you could do all kinds of research, Zoom plugin for Outlook, Grammarly for Outlook. You could do Zoom plugin for WordPress. A lot of people do WordPress and they do Zoom webinars. I do them all the time. That’d be a pretty cool one. Affiliate plugin for WordPress, survey plugin, best form plugin, newsletter. On and on we go. Very simple. Maps plugin. I developed one of those years ago for $40. And yes, ladies and gentlemen, some of these will be less than $100. Very, very, very important. We’re going to understand how this works. Desto says, “I need to get better at Microsoft Excel.” No, you don’t. I downloaded these from AA [inaudible 00:28:22]. I didn’t do anything to them except open them in Excel.
Let’s keep going here. Google calendar plugin. Lots of these things are very easy. And they run on what’s called an API, and API’s work like crazy. How many of you guys use my tools over at theprofitscoop.com? theprofitscoop.com, I’ve got all kinds of tools like our domain extractor. I’m pretty sure this cost me $40 to make. Pretty sure. It might have been less, might have been a tad Moore. I don’t think so, though. He had it done in two hours, and it’s pretty cheap and it’s very simple. And what this does is it allows you to go get a list of domains, throw it in here, it’ll strip them out so that you can buy and sell domains. And now, some of these tools I provide free because I want the mailing list because, like old Bill Gates over there, I get that it’s about the bigger picture, it’s about the bigger market. And when you understand this, that’s when everything starts to change.
What we’re going to do first and foremost is we are going to look at the idea. We’re going to look at the idea and then we’re going to get a plan. What is the plan that we’re going to do? Gallery plugin, ultimately I would want to sell maybe CRM software, customer management for photographers and stuff like that. Or maybe I want to get them into maybe Shopify or a Stripe account or a merchant account or something like that. But ultimately, what I want is a big list of people who gave me money for a plugin that are photographers that are on WordPress. Wo we’re going to get the plan there and we’re going to find some back end stuff.
Then what we’re going to do is we’re going to ask ourself how are we going to sell this? What is the plan to sell this? Well, the plan is going to be based on what people are searching for. If I’m out there and I’m like, okay, gallery plugin. Or let’s do plugin photographers. Got to sound it out because I don’t know how to spell that very good. Spelling was never my strong suit. All right, so we have this and we’re like, okay, Photoshop for beginners, plugin for photographers. Okay. Even though that’s small, WordPress shopping cart plugin for photographers, these do tell me about my market, so this is good. Okay, so we’ll do plugin photo, plugin gallery. And what we’re going to do is we’re going to compile all the keywords that these people are going to look up.
We’re going to go over here, and you’re going to be like, okay, good. I’m going to get all the keywords. I’m going to get photography plugin. I’m going to get WordPress gallery. I’m going to get all these keywords, I’m going to put them over there and I’m going to be like, okay, let’s throw these here and see what works.
Now, let me tell you another little hack. Another little hack you can do is by going to the WordPress plugin site. If you do wordpress.org I think it is. Let’s see, WordPress. This one here. We’re going to go wordpress.org/plugins, which you can put that in here. Let’s go right here. We can go right here and do wordpress.org/plugins. And we’re going to do… Let’s see here. We got YouTube gallery. That’s an interesting one. Definitely a plugin I think people want. File managers, download manager.
Now, what we can do is we can look at these and say, “Okay, well I’m going to make a file manager WordPress plugin.” Cool, great, wonderful. What I can do is I could look at what the people’s issues are with the plugin, because they got reviews. I’ll be like, “Hey, some people didn’t like this. What did they not like?” Here’s what they didn’t like. We can go in, find another one. Say, “Oh, well you know what about the CAPTCHA plugin or WooCommerce? What people don’t like about this.
And when you find out what people don’t like, then you could… That doesn’t have very many reviews. When you find out what people don’t like, then you could go through and be like, hey, now I can make a solution that’s actually going to work. And you could be like, hey, this is pretty cool.
Now we’re ready to go. Okay. Now we’re ready to go. We’re like, okay, now I can build out my plugin. And now to sell it is actually pretty easy. I can put this on Envato, I could put it on wordpress.org, I could put this on AppSumo. I think they have an open marketplace. I could build my own website and sell it via ClickBank or maybe sell it via PayPal or Stripe or whatever it is. Very simple.
And now, what happens is you have something of value that you can take to the marketplace. When you have your own software, it puts you in a different level because now I can get visitors pretty much for free if I price it right, which brings us to our next point, which is the price point. We need to look at what our price point is that’s going to make sense. Once we get this thing… And the way we get it, all right, we get our idea, we get everything ready, we’re like, okay, this is what we want. Here’s how I want my gallery plugin. I did all the info on the reviews, I checked out other plugins, I thought about what I would want as a marketer, thought about how to make it better, and now I know what I want. Now I’m going to go over there to places like Upwork, onlinejobs.ph, and maybe even Fiverr. As you can see here, I’ll design a plugin, $1,600 bucks. I’ll design a WordPress plugin, $100, $150, $100, $300, whatever.
Now, Fiverr is a little bit more risky of the platforms. I haven’t tried it. I know some other people have and gotten good results. I know some haven’t gotten bad results, so we got to look at that. Now, Upwork is usually pretty good because you’re paying by the job, and you’ll be like, “Hey, I want this result for $500 or $300. Can you do it?”
Ladies and gentlemen, yes, we’re talking about making lots and lots of money, which is not implied, guaranteed or anything. The average person makes nothing. And on top of it, you’re going to have to invest money to get this thing built. If you’re out there and you’re like, I just want to push a button to get money that flies backwards apparently… This must be the deluxe money gun. I don’t know. There you go. Fancy, fancy stuff. But if you’re looking for push button stuff, it doesn’t exist. You’re not going to get $1,500 a minute watching a video. But if you put in work and build a business, you can build something that actually works. And it’s not that hard to do. While everyone else was trying to get rich watching videos, I built a plugin last week. While everyone else was doing this, I built a website. While everyone else was trying to find get rich quick, I was finding ways to actually make it happen because it’s not about the tactic, it’s not about the idea, it’s about your plan. What is your plan going to give you? Mine gives me money because it’s pretty much cut and dry, go out there and make it work.
And you might say, “Well, Marcus, what if your plugin doesn’t sell?” Well, then I go to plan B. I either give it away or make the thing sell. That’s what I do. I’m not going to sit around with something that don’t work and go, “Aw, shucks, better try guru number two.” No, I’m going to make it work. If it does not sell, if I can’t sell my way out of a paper bag with my plugin, I’m going to go give it to every photographer. But guess what I’m going to do. I’m going to go to my plugin developer and I’m going to say, “Hey buddy, at the bottom of the plugin, I want something that says this site was made with Marcus’s photography plugin. Click here to get it,” because I know if I can’t sell it but I could give away 5,000 copies, I still got the end result, which is what old Gates was after.
Imagine if gates was like, “Hey, IBM, come on up here, buddy. Come on up here, IBM, here’s what we’re going to do. You’re going to give me $10 million bucks. This is smart business here. You’re going to give me $10 million. And this is probably what IBM would do because they wouldn’t do it. And so you give me $10 million, I’ll put this on your computer, and all you got to do is charge every computer owner $500. They just bought the computer for $4,000; it’s a no brainer. IBM would’ve said, “Here’s the door. There it is. See yourself out.” And the people who bought the computers would’ve said, “I just paid $4,000, and now you’re telling me I got to pay $500 to make it work? BS.” And he would’ve gone home and he wouldn’t be one of the richest people in the world.
But what he did is he said, “Hey, you know what? I think we’re going to have a better bet giving this away and then selling something later.” You like that? Because once you give this away, if you got 5,000 people with this plugin and you say, “Hey guys, I hope you enjoy my free plugin.” And they’re like, “We do. You’re such a nice guy. You’re so swell. Thank you.” This week we’re going to have old Bob over here who makes millions of dollars selling photos online. He’s going to come teach you this stuff. And if you want to get his course, you can, and you get 50%, and you sell stuff as an affiliate because you built your affiliate business on a plugin rather than just some idea, which is good, but what I’m showing you is if you want to get results fast, if you want to get big dollars fast, this-
… you want to get results fast. If you want to get big dollars fast, this is, in my opinion, the best way to do it. And we’re talking big money. If you’re like, “Okay, Marcus, I’m looking to make 50, $100,000 a month,” all right, if you’re in that category and you want to make it like now, this video actually came from a student of mine who came to me and he asked me, he’s like, “How would I make $11 million in 6 months?” And I’m like, “That is the most random question I’ve ever [inaudible 00:39:30].” 11 million in 6 months. “I don’t know. You’re in a jam or something? What’s going on, buddy? Let’s have a talk.” And so I said, “Hey, the best way to do that would be start software. Go all in on software. Make it work. Make it happen.”
Because what happens is you are now going to have something that works. You’re now going to have a platform that you know works. Look, these things are selling. How do you know they’re selling? Look at the reviews. I know this one sells more than this one. Why? 201 reviews versus 13. And then we can go through and look at exactly what else is out there. Very important, because far too many people are trying to come up with an idea and reinvent the wheel, rather than just looking at the data. And the data tells me where to go. The data tells me exactly what I need. Then we’re going to look at our price point. All right, what is our price point? Well, what did the plugin cost you to make? Let’s say this one cost me a thousand. I want a little overboard, added some payment platforms, it’s a thousand bucks.
Well, to break even what would I need? Maybe I could sell for 27 bucks. Nobody misses 27 bucks. I could sell it for 27, that’d be pretty easy, or 47. Or maybe I could have my programmer and for an extra 10 bucks, he’ll go out there and he’ll make me a light version. And then they can upgrade to the pro version. I do this all the time. And when you start to look at this in a different way and say, “Hey, wait a minute. Now I got my price point. I’m filling a need in the marketplace based on what they’re searching for. And now I know my job is to go sell it or if it doesn’t sell, I give it away.” So there’s always a plan B and plan B is “If I can’t get my thousand bucks back selling it, maybe I’m going to give it away. And then maybe people get hosting…” Or whatever it is, “… and I can make money on the back end.”
And when we look at this, we’re like, “Okay, now I can see exactly what these people want.” Here’s all the people on WordPress. They want Google directions plug in. And you can see what these get. So Google directions plug in, some kind of Maps plug in. So we could see here, WordPress, Go Maps, formerly Google Maps. Layers, plugin, lot of reviews, some bad stuff. Very little bad stuff, but, hey, you know what? What our job is to think about the person who wants this plugin, not all the features we can cram into it. Does that make sense? My job isn’t to make a plugin with tons and tons of features and cool stuff, and end up broke with a really badass plugin. That’s not my job. That’s not it. My job is to solve one problem with one solution for the market that wants it.
So like a lot of these guys, like I told you earlier, programmers are not marketers. So what I did is I said, “Here’s some simple plugins I want. Here’s a simple theme I want.” We have simple blog theme. Hundreds of thousands of people have used simple blog theme. And, again, it has a link back to me, which is kind of cool. I like that. That’s why I give it away. And we can get them into other stuff. Maybe you can make a free tool for something that works on free web hosting and funnel them into paid web hosting. Or you can get them into other stuff as well. But sometimes when you look at this, like the software that Kim made was actually, it’s a little complicated on the back end, but she got programmers to do that. I don’t think she knows programming.
And it served one simple need, one simple thing. And when you think about that and you’re like, “Hey, wait a minute, how would I get to 18,000 bucks a day?” Well, if you have a software that maybe it’s $27 a day, if it’s big enough, you could sell it to a thousand people a day. That’s not unheard of. That’s not rare. In this business, that’s something that actually happens. If the market will serve it and you have to look and say, well, if you got 100,000 people a month searching for your solution. You could check forums, you could check plug-in directories. You could check all these places. If you have 100,000 people a month searching. Well, that would be what, 3,000 people a day? It’s a little bit of a stretch, but $27 isn’t much. Could we make it happen? Yeah. With the right paid traffic angle and the right stuff, that could happen. That could work. Now, if you really wanted to get to like $18,000 a day with something like this, you would probably need a bigger price point, maybe $97.
Or even a recurring monthly, 10 bucks for the add-ons or whatever it is. That could work as well. So we need to think big picture. We need to think of what we want to do. Now, for some of you guys who are like, “Hey, I just want to make a thousand dollars a month or whatever.” Obviously that’s going to be a lot easier goal to get to, and software can be your vehicle for it. And pretty simple, pretty easy stuff. You just have to go through and say, “What is it? These people are looking for. What is it that I can build? What is it I can do?” And then you get massive traffic.
Now, this is easier, because when you get massive traffic for your plugin, you’re keeping all the profits, you have all the tracking ability. You could put it different places. You could go out there and say, “Well, I’m going to sell it on Envato. I’m going to sell it on this. I’m going to sell it on that.” And another tip for you that works like crazy is you can make a plugin that solves the needs that a bunch of plugins make. And then you could go and you could do tutorials on the other plugins. And you’re like, “I’m going to make a tutorial video on the all-in-one SEO plugin. I’m going to make it.” So like, for me, I don’t know if we have room on the board, but let me show you this with old Patrick, over here. For me, I have the plugin, which is called… What is it called?
The voodoo one. The one we just came out with. Can’t even remember. My brain is not working. See what happens when I get a cold? The voodoo one for the redirects. I think it’s called Slug voodoo. I’d find all the redirect plugins, which one of them went out of publishing. So I would be able to nail it there. Then I go through and then I’ll get all the backlink plugins. Good. So now between those three, there’s probably 100 to 200 different plugins I can make tutorials on and people are going to watch them and then I’ll talk about, “One of the things I wish they had was this Slug thing. And I realized that being a magician paid a lot more than standing around and serving hamburgers. So I decided to learn marketing. Now, this brought in some pretty decent money, but not enough to live with a child on the way in southern California.
So I decided to take what I learned about marketing my magic business and apply it to the web. And I came across this local company that was selling cigars and wanted a website so that they could build their business. And they said, “Marcus, we want to rank number one on Google for the word cigar.” I said, “Wait a minute, fellas. That word is way too competitive.” Wait a minute, what? Did you just say that when people Google the word cigars, advertisers are willing to pay for each click to their website? Yep. Remember, this is all about focus. So these guys wanted to rank for cigars, but that was too competitive. So instead I found all the different cigar names that had no competition at all. I built their site, ranked for a bunch of those words, and got paid $10,000. And that was just the tip of the iceberg.
Once I realized that people were willing to pay for rankings on Google and that when you go for the right keyword there’s literally no competition, I went like crazy. I went out there and found businesses that wanted more traffic, wrote them a little email, found them some non-competitive keywords, outsourced the dirty work, and put money in my pocket. Some people paid like $2,000, $5,000, $10,000, or more. And that brings us to part number one, bridge the gap. You want to find a way to bridge the gap between businesses and customers. Number two, direct contact marketing. What I did was very simple. I would go to different places that had lists of websites that used certain processors, like PayPal. Then I focused on the businesses that weren’t very popular and weren’t making that much money. Then I wrote an email that said, “I have some ideas to get more business to your,” blank, “website.” The blank was filled in by the website niche, magic stores, cigar companies, car dealers, limousine companies, you name it. And the key to making this work was to be the expert in their field.
Because let’s face it, there was no cigar website expert or limousine website expert. So I stood out in the field all alone. And to do this is actually pretty simple. You can use sites like BuiltWith, different PayPal shop directories, Shopify stores, drop shippers, local business websites and magicians, and on and on we go. And if you don’t want to pay for a fancy tool, what I did back then was just type in “magic store” in quotes and then put PayPal. This showed me all the magic stores that took PayPal, which meant they were usually a little bit smaller and I could get paid via PayPal like that. And you might be saying, “But Marcus, I don’t know how to get search engine rankings.” Well, truth be told, I’m not that great at it either.
Which brings us to number three, ESB, or easy service business. You see, my job is quite simply to bridge the gap between the person wanting the search engine rankings and the person who can get them. Then all I need to do is focus on finding good keywords for that market. Notice how my first customer said, “I want to rank for cigars,” and I said, “Sorry, no amount of money is going to make that happen. Instead, what if we went for low competition keywords?” And badaboom, badabing, a customer was born. Then I just wash, rinse, and repeat with more customers. And when it comes to keywords like this, the name of the game is having good content and low competition. And if you nail that, you can make money.
Here’s another little money tip for you. Use sites like Fiverr not just to outsource the work, but also to find customers. If you were to go to Fiverr like this and type in “keyword research,” you could see that there’s all kinds of services getting lots of customers where they just find keywords for a website. Why would anyone want keywords for a website? Like I mentioned earlier, people are willing to pay to show up on Google. So if I can already do the keyword research, get paid a little bit of money, and then use that to promote bigger services, pretty soon I’m going to have me a Lamborghini full of cash. And when used correctly, they’re virtually guaranteed to put money in your pocket.
So let’s open up these files and dive into the five ways you’re going to make money from the Bitcoin crash. Okay. So first off, what we need to understand is the fact that cryptocurrencies and different investments are looked up a lot. You could see here Bitcoin price or BTC price is looked up over 16 million times a month. Dogecoin and others are looked up a lot as well. Now, we can see from these files that there is a ton of traffic in these markets. And also, there’s not that much competition when you get some of the more specific keywords.
And since Bitcoin and crypto investing keywords are in a market that makes lots of money, what we have to do is look to Patrick over here, who has found the solution to making money with this traffic. Because as time goes on, people are going to search for these more and more. As we can see from these files, millions and millions of people each and every month are looking up different ticker symbols, like this one here for some kind of compass mining or even games or different types of places to invest crypto are looked up a lot of times. And when you pair that with these five methods I’m going to show you, it’s pretty simple to start making good money. But remember the results are not typical, implied, or guaranteed. I have no idea what you’re going to make.
This is just an information video to show you the many possibilities that are out there that you can profit with, starting with method number one, and that is to start a news or ticker blog. This is quite simply where you go out there and start a blog to talk about the different news and ticker symbols that are going on in the crypto marketplace. As you can see, lots of people are looking up the various different symbols related to cryptos. They’re looking for how much they’re going for, if they’re going up, down, whether they’re rugpulls, scams, whether they’re good investments, and what the history of the company is like.
And since this information is free online anyway, you simply do the research, compile it in an easy way to understand, and get paid when people click ads on your website. It’s actually super simple, and you don’t really need that much experience and you don’t even have to sell anything, because what’s going to happen is your blog is going to show expensive ads. When those ads are clicked on, you get paid. And as you can see over here from the Google AdWords keyword planner, these guys are paying insane amounts of money for each and every click. Best gold IRA, $180 a click. Best online brokerage account, best investment platforms, $49 a click, and on and on we go. This is literally insane. But remember, you’re not guaranteed to get $180 a click. We have no idea what you’re going to make per click. This is just to show us that people are paying lots of money, which means our traffic is going to make a heck of a lot more. So if you’re using number one and you want to make a news or ticker symbol blog, you can rake it in big time.
Now let’s talk about number two. No, not that number two, although some of this stuff is pretty crappy and that would be the scam and rugpull exposure. There’s lots of people out there on YouTube and blogs and websites and different forums and places like that that are talking about all the different crypto scams that are going on online. And if you ask me, there’s way too many. But that is a chance for you to swoop in, be the good guy and bank lots of cash. We could see here, this guy has top five crypto scams. He’s got over 335,000 views on that one video alone. Here’s another one that was just uploaded 18 hours ago. So far over 87,000 views. And if you were to do a simple search on YouTube, you’re going to see tons and tons of people doing this exact same thing, talking about all the different crypto scams.
And as we learned from our buddy Patrick over here with his Lamborghini full of cash, this market pays lots of money per click. And if you have videos in the crypto market and you’re using YouTube monetization, that’s going to trigger a much more expensive ad, and they don’t even have to buy anything. They simply view the ads, click the links, and you get paid. And all you would have to do is follow the news and watch the reports and check out the latest cryptocurrencies. Do the research, help people out, and put money in your pocket. And again, this is a very sensitive market, so make sure you don’t do anything shady. Don’t recommend anything that’s garbage or a ripoff or a scam. Just simply provide helpful info and get paid when people click on the ads.
And to show you how this works in a real world way, I’ve actually compiled some of the top cryptocurrency keywords that have very low competition. This is a difficulty score from zero to 100, 100 being damn near impossible and zero being pretty much inevitable. We can actually take a look here that there’s stuff like coin market cap or XPR coin. And when we put these in YouTube, we could see the competition doesn’t really exist and people are getting lots and lots of traffic with these very simple non-competitive keywords. And quite simply, all you need to do is go down the list, find the information, make a simple video, and put some more money in your pocket.
And that brings us to method number three of how you’re going to make money with the Bitcoin crash, and that is to buy and sell crypto domains. Domain names are bought and sold online every single day to the tune of millions of dollars. In fact, I myself have sold over a million dollars worth of domain names and websites associated with domains and different things like that.
Take a look at this list here of the top 10 domains in the crypto market, eth.com, $2 million, btc.com, $1 million, tokens, half a million, Bitcoin Wallet, 250 grand, and on and on we go. In fact, just last week, I bought bitminerfactory.com for about $1,200. And don’t worry. If you don’t have 1200 bucks, I’m going to show you a way to do this super cheap. And the reason I bought this domain is because of all the traffic it was getting already for Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining and different things like that. We could see it ranks for keywords that get over 13,000 searches a month. Not only that, but check out some of the links that are pointing back to my new website. This one here from Wikipedia with a list of Bitcoin companies. We got some other Bitcoin sites linking in, crypto investments, and on and on we go.
So I can go ahead and put a simple blog on this website, start ranking for this traffic, and make tons of money, or I could sell the domain for a profit. As you can see here, lots of crypto names are going for lots of money. And since mine also has back links and built in traffic and it used to be a crypto mining business, boom, I think I hit the jackpot.
But if you don’t have 1200 bucks, don’t worry. We’re going to use a little tool called SpamZilla to find domains that we can buy for a couple of dollars and sell for hundreds or even thousands of dollars or more. Yeah, some of the domains I’ve bought for like $8 or $15 I’ve sold for as much as $25,000. And all I’ve got to do is use a tool like SpamZilla that I could get over at spamzilla.com, type something like crypto, and this is going to show me all the domain names that recently expired that contain the word crypto. And my job is just to find one that looks really good. Cryptosharemarket.com, cryptoprofittrends, cryptocurrencyinvestment.info, BTHcrypto.com, 24cryptominingtrade. It says it’s worth 165 and I could buy it for one penny? Polycrypto says it’s worth 775. I can get it for a penny?
But again, take these with a grain of salt. Make sure that if you’re investing $10 on a domain, you’re pretty certain you can get your $10 back. And on this one, I think that’s going to be pretty easy. So I could just go down the list and find different crypto domains that look really good, start buying them, and sell them for a profit. Cryptomaniacs, cryptonitecoins, cryptobonus.info, and on and on we go. There’s literally over 100,000 domain names that drop each and every day. You can see this guy streamed just 10 hours ago, 54,000 views. And since it’s in the crypto market, he’s making lots of money. Here’s another one, Alt Coin Daily, who’s coming out with all kinds of different crypto updates and things like that. And if you want to add even more money to the mix, you can actually have them go to your website for more information. And as you can see here, tons and tons of people are providing information on different Bitcoin updates, new coins, and different things like that. Wait a minute, who’s that maniac with a chicken? Oh, yeah. That’s me.
Now let’s go to method number five. In method number five, what you’re going to do is create free cryptocurrency trading guides. You’re going to do the research and find all kinds of links of what people can do to start investing in crypto and help them out and give them tips and links and all kinds of things like that. $7,300? A million dollars a year? One million views, two million views. What the… I’m about to show you how I’ve made as much as $1,600 a day online using the lottery. And no, this has nothing to do with buying lottery tickets and hoping to win. And it’s virtually guaranteed to work. Let me show you what I mean.
This is a $1 lottery ticket. This is $170 scanner, and that is my guru Lamborghini filled with lottery tickets. And this is something anyone can do. Throughout this video, to prove my point, I’m actually going to be scratching over $250 worth of lottery tickets. Some of these tickets were a dollar, two bucks, five bucks, $10. And even up to $20 per ticket. Sat down in the corner over here, I’m going to show you how much I win as the video goes on. And not only that, but you’re going to learn some strategies that you can start using right now that other people are using to make crazy amounts of money online. So, let’s get started.
All right. So, we’ve just started this video and already we’ve been talking about some big numbers. Like this guy right here, talking about how much he’s making just doing slots and different gambling things here on YouTube. We also have lots of other people like Scratching Away, who basically just scratches off lotto tickets and that’s pretty much his channel. We also have Slot Queen, who’s doing much the same kind of thing that Scott’s doing with his Jackpot site. And then of course, Vegas Low Roller who’s doing this, but on a lower scale. Instead of betting tons of money, he’s not betting that much. We can also see that over here, lots and lots of people are searching for various terms about the lottery. More about this in just a minute.
So, it’s no surprise that there’s lots and lots of traffic and lots of money being made, but how are you going to be able to put money in your pocket? Well, we’re going to need to pay attention to a formula, but first take a look at some of these people on TikTok. Four million views, just scratching a lotto ticket. Five million, same thing. And so yesterday I thought to myself, “Hey, how hard can it be?” I took some of the footage and made a little 20-second video of me scratching a lottery ticket. It’s actually this one right here. And you can see that without even having a following in this niche with no title, no fancy stuff, only me scratching a lot ticket without any sound, got over 200 views in less than 12 hours.
And just imagine how much content I can get out of this stack of just $250 worth of lottery tickets. Yep, I could literally take all the footage that you’re watching right now in the little box, turn it into content for TikTok and YouTube and make money. This is kind of like the ultimate YouTube automation, if you will. But we need to rely on a very important formula. MLT + FGT + ORA = money for you. And the fact of the matter is most people trying to make money scratching lottery and playing the lottery and stuff like that online, are missing a key component that can put them over the edge and make them 10 times as much profit. But I need you to remember something very important.
The lottery is a very specific gain that only pertains to people of certain age groups. Make sure that you do this ethically. Don’t encourage anyone to gamble. Just talk about what you’re doing, and make sure you stay away from some of the fraudulent offers that are out there about how to win the lotto and all that other junk or fake betting sites. Stay away from all that and do this ethically. It’s actually not that hard and it can make lots of money when done correctly. Here we have: lottery calculator, taxes on lottery, lump sum calculator, payout calculator. We can even do something like lottery numbers.
And what this is showing us is how many people are searching for these specific keywords. And let’s spell this right here. Lottery numbers, you could see lots of people are looking up winning lottery numbers. And between you, me and the wall and the rest of YouTube, I actually made lots of money, up to $1,600 a day, with a very simple website, just showing the latest lottery numbers. And that is going to bring us into our first bit in our equation, that’s going to make us money.
This formula is very important. The first part, MLT, stands for massive lottery traffic. The second one, FGT, stands for free gaming tools. That’s where we’re going to go out there and create the little winning number generators and different tools and different tax calculators, lottery odds calculators, and have basically a giant lottery info website.
And there’s a very important key to making this work. And that is, in your videos, you want to tell them to go to your website, to get the free lottery tools. That’s going to get your visitors back to your website, where you can make even more money. But there is a way to make money without having a website. And that is using monetization. You can use YouTube monetization, TikTok monetization, or whatever other platform you’re using, where they’re going to pay you for the views on your videos. And remember, the only way to make massive money is to get massive traffic. If you’re not really getting massive traffic, you definitely want to rely on your own website with the lottery tools.
Now, some of these people over, here like Scott, who I used to work with, he was actually the owner of CPA Networks that I worked with back in the day. And I know he’s making a fortune doing this and that’s because he gets huge numbers. As you can see here, his channel has gotten over 161 million views. And according to Social Blade, which isn’t incredibly accurate, I actually find it to be on the low side in most cases. He’s making an average of $50 to $650 a day, or even up to $1,400 a day when he gets more traffic. But again, he’s got tons of views, which is why he’s making a decent amount of money.
Me, with my little 200 views, it ain’t going to make much at all. But remember, the name of the game is to make lots and lots of relevant content and point them back to your website. On every video, I would brand it, “Go back to my lottery website to generate numbers and see the games I’m playing and everything like that.” The idea here is to do what I call flip the market. We want to flip the market from the people just watching these videos of scratching lottery tickets, to go into our website and clicking on ads that make us lots of money. And if I have a reason for them to go to my website like, “Check out these free tools or get the lottery numbers or get my list of favorite games to play,” then I’ll get a lot of people back to my site, which brings us to the last part of our equation: ORA.
This stands for other related ads. If you could put ads on your site about how to invest a thousand dollars or different stock picks or whatever it is, then you can make lots of money. Let me show you what I mean. If you were to go over here to OfferVault.com, which is where I find most of my affiliate offers so that I can make money, you can see here that the Motley Fool actually has lots of offers where they predict different stocks and they have a stock investing club and all kinds of cool stuff like that.
But again, remember, some of the offers are straight up garbage. It’s your job to make sure you’re doing a good service to your visitors by giving them good offers that are not scammy or junk. Do your due research, find some good stuff. And we could see here that this one pays $87 a lead for someone interested or signing up for a free trial of the stock program. You could also give them different offers for credit cards or banks or whatever it is, anything finance related, because they’re interested in this kind of stuff.
And the name of the game is to make good content, provide a good, helpful site with tools and stuff like that, run some ads, build more tools, get some tool generators, number generators and all kinds of things to get people that are interested in playing the lottery over to your site so that they can click on the ads that put money in your pocket. You can even promote different giveaways and gaming contests and different things like that, or even little game downloads and things of that nature.

We’re going to show you when and why to set them up, what you can expect to make and everything like that, because this is something that is very, very important. A lot of people before we started said, “Marcus, 4% commission, how can you actually make money with these Amazon affiliate sites? How can you get $709 for a review on an Amazon review site? How is this actually going to work?”
So today we’re going to cut past all the junk, and we’re going to show you the real world stuff that actually works. We’re going to dive past all the junk that’s confusing you. We’re going to dive past all the junk that might be having your mind on info overload. And we’re going to talk to you about what it really takes to make money online with Amazon and affiliate sites. This is a business, we need to treat this like a business and we need to make this work in a real world way. So let’s dive in. Let’s talk about how this whole thing works and how you can start making money online. All right. So let’s dive in here.
What we want to do is we want to take a look past all the junk. Now a lot of people might be saying, “Marcus, how are you going to make money with Amazon review sites?” And we’re going to have a Q and A towards the end to talk to you about how all this works. But I want you to pay attention here because when we’re looking at Amazon, yes, there is a fact and that fact is it’s like 1 to 4% commission rate, which means if you sell a product that’s $100, you’re only going to get a $1 or $4. And you might be saying, “Wait a minute, Marcus, how does this even work? How are we going to get these big numbers if Amazon, the richest man in the world or one of them, isn’t willing to pony up the dough so that we could get some decent commissions?” Because usually with commissions like that, 1 to 4%, usually I would bypass an affiliate offer. If someone came to me and said, “Marcus promotes something, I’m going to give you 1 to 4%.” I’d say, “Take a hike, get out of here. I don’t want that.”
But there’s an actual reason that we do use Amazon in this instance. So we want to pay attention to this and we want to look at this. Now, in this training, we are going to show you real live sites that are working. I’m going to reveal a niche that someone can go use right now. It’s a very, very solid niche, a lot of products and stuff like that. So what we’re going to do here is we’re going to take a look and say, well, what is the trade off? Okay. So I’m getting 1 to 4% commission, which is terrible. That’s absolutely terrible. So what’s the trade off? Well, the trade off is Amazon is kind of like the 11 billion pound hippo in the room. They get lots of traffic, they have lots of products for sale and there’s a lot of things you can do. And also, people buy near everything on Amazon. I bought that Lambo on Amazon. I bought half of the cameras in here on Amazon. I bought all my fake money and my money gun on Amazon. A lot of the props that we use for the videos were bought on Amazon.

The reason it works really well is Amazon actually has a by now button that you don’t even have to have your credit card. I could not know where my wallet is and I could still order on Amazon. Which is important because for us as affiliate marketers, that’s going to translate into lots of sales. Very important. Now, when we take a look at this, we’re taking a look at a site here, and these are from places where you can go and you can look at sites that are for sale. I just typed in Amazon affiliate sites for sale and I found all kinds of stuff. On Flippa, here’s a guy here, $380,000 for that site making 10 grand a month, 8,500. A lot of these are actually Amazon affiliate sites, but what are we going to do with them? Can we actually go here on Fiverr and buy an Amazon affiliate site and get money? Well, we’re going to take a look at that. All right, we’re going to look at this in a real world way.
Can we go on eBay here and get this guaranteed money? He says 30 days you’re guaranteed money for just $3.62. Instant cash websites. All right. We need to take a look at this and understand exactly what’s going on because there’s a lot of junk out there. Now, towards the end of this video, I’m going to talk to you about a place where you can get the notes from this video, including this video I did, which is in the description, which is going to talk about some ways to find hidden Amazon niches. And they’re down here. We’ll talk to you about them in just a minute.
So when we look at this here, we have a site that’s going for sale for $11,000. He said that on his site in 2021 he made $7,500 or somewhere around that amount. Pretty cool. Here’s another one, the traffic value is $35-36,000. All right, here’s another one here. And we’re going to take a look at these with a fine tooth comb and show you exactly what’s going on. Show you why they are making money and show you very emphatically why this stuff is working. Very, very important. So we need to understand this.
Now, this site here I actually went through and I downloaded some of these. I was trying to plug in my microphone before the call and like a genius I actually went through and restarted my computer, because that button is right by the microphone button, and there you go it’s restarted. So I have to find these files for you again, which is pretty cool. So we’re going to find these files and what they’re going to do is they’re going to show us inside some of the niches that are out there.
Okay. So let’s see if we can open some of these here. There we go. And the files are going to look like this. And what I did is I went out there and I looked at some of these sites. I said, okay, these sites are selling for lots of money. What gives? What’s going on here? And how do we make this work in a real world way? How do we make this work? How do we look at the keywords and understand what the value proposition is? Okay. And let’s see if we can open these other ones here. There we go. There’s the chair one. And then we have a AI one. There we go. Boom. And then we have a perfume one and we’re going to take a look at these with a fine tooth comb, because I want you to understand what’s going on.
Okay. I want you to understand this because if you don’t then yeah, you’re going to get sucked into this stuff that says, “Oh, Hey, buy this website for 30 bucks and get rich overnight.” What we’re going to do is we are actually going to dissect these and see what’s going on. So this one here where it said, “Hey, it’s making $554 a month. It’s on sale for 16,000 bucks.” So I could go out there. I could take 16,000 bucks. And I could buy this site. And maybe that would be smart, I don’t know. It’s a multiple of 2.5, which means in about three years, two and a half, three years, I’ll be in profit luckily or hopefully if the traffic stays. So we got to look at that and we got to understand it.
But what if you’re out there like a normal person and you’re like, I don’t have $16,000 to spend on an Amazon site that may or may not make money the day I take it over. I don’t know, there are some risks to buying stuff like this and we need to understand that. So if you don’t, listen up, because what we’re going to do is we are going to dissect some of the things that these people are doing. Now, one of the ones that I found here was… Let’s see here. Do, do, do, do. There it is. So this one here had a bunch of random keywords. Something about skull crusher, candy crusher game, it was 2014. So these are probably junk traffic to me. That’s what I would think. Amazon profile link, not really usable traffic for me as far as being a seller. Home theater kit, that’s a good one. He’s got a number 14 ranking, which is not great, but it does rank and that is an expensive type product.
So we’re looking at that. We’re like, okay, that’s pretty cool. All right. Now one of the things I want to pay attention to is where the money is. What are the money keywords we’re looking at? Is there stuff that we could use? How much is Amazon Prime, some kind of weather tech phone cup holder. And again, remember, when we’re looking at this, you might say, “Well, Marcus what am I going to sell a phone cup holder for 50 bucks?” And based on your numbers on the old chalkboard back there, if I sell this thing for $50, I’m literally going to get 50 cents for making a sale.
Now, one of the things we also want to look at is the fact of conversion rate. Now the conversion rate on Amazon is going to be ridiculously higher than any other affiliate program. Why? Because they’re Amazon, everyone has an account it’s super easy to buy. You know that if you buy something, it’s going to show up at your door faster than anything that ever has been shipped in the history of life. So we have to look at this and say, okay, so there might be the conversion rate that can do good. But still even with the conversion rate, I’m not going to do that great. I would probably do better drop shipping this. So what is the idea here? Well, the idea here is to use Amazon affiliate program. Let’s see how we’re on chalkboard, Amazon affiliate program to get traffic on products that I normally wouldn’t be able to get traffic for.
So if we’re out there and we’re like, okay, we want to get traffic on products that maybe I don’t have the weather tech, or maybe I don’t have this other thing, I want to understand that this is where it’s going to work. This is how we’re going to do it. We’re going to go out there and we’re going to utilize the traffic that they have, which is very important because I might not be able to get this traffic in a different way. So, I need to understand that. And if you guys are digging this smash, your like button, I am getting used to the new setup. It’s a little bit difficult to run, but hopefully you guys like it. If you dig it type new setup and smash that like button and let me know. Now there was something that I found in this list that I really liked. Now, you had like Amazon senior discount, video login. A lot of words that may or may not work for me. Might not work. What am I going to sell here?

Now one of the ones I found, which we’ll talk about in a little bit was a really good idea there. Now, some other sites that we looked at, and it’s very important to look at this because according to Ahrefs, the site only had $80 worth of traffic. That’s interesting. Now it is getting 1,000 visitors a month, but we need to understand, hey, wait a minute, those 1,000 bucks might be different to me. And more valuable to me than other people that are out there. So we got to understand this. And there was something I saw in this niche that right now is making $500 a month where I saw a $10,000 a month niche. And I was like, okay, this guy’s got a bunch of random keywords, but I can see $1,000 a month or a $10,000 a month niche in there. Again, results are not typical, implied or guaranteed, but once we start to understand, hey, wait a minute. There’s money there, then things start to change.
All right. Another one that we looked at, and this was the one that was a little bit different, because it was like, okay, this one’s kind of all over the place. If you look at their keywords, it’s like, okay, you got some bidets, you got some discounts, you got some candy crushers, you got where is corn starch in the grocery store? The guy’s probably at the grocery store and he is on his phone and he is like, where is the corn starch? What are you going to sell him? Are you literally going to sell in corn starch? Probably not. And if you did, okay, I sell my corn starch for a whopping… Well, inflation did kick in so maybe, maybe it’s like $4 now. I don’t know. But we’re going to look at it and we’re going to be like, okay, we got this set up. And we’re like, okay, maybe it’s going to be a $3 sale. Again, what are you going to make 3-12 cents? I mean, what gives.
Now, a lot of people they look at this and they think Amazon automated sites, Amazon affiliate sites, these are the key. These are the king. It’s easy. You make money. Which it can be, but you need to understand exactly what’s going on here. And what’s going on is this, guy’s got some stuff that I can see. Like if I took this site over, I’d be like, okay, I see what I’m going to do here. I see it. And if I can train you on this call to see what I see, it’s like that Christmas song do you see what I see. I see a bunch of money on the internet. I’m going to teach you how to see it and you won’t need one of these little money things here. All right. So we’re going to take a look at that.
Now, let’s take a look at another one. And over here we had this one here, which they were asking $94,000 for this site and it’s making an average of 2,500 a month. So we need to look at this and say, okay, well what is the difficulty? A lot of people you go to work and you make 100 grand a year or less. How many of you guys make 100 grand a year or 50,000 a year or whatever it is? And you say, well, would it be worth it to me to buy a site like that or to make my own site like that? Because if I spent a year, then I make money over and over and over and over again. And it’s very important. So we look at this and we’re like, okay, this guy’s earning an average of about $2,500
This guy’s earning an average of about $2,500 a month and he’s selling it for 94,000. So if we were to take a look and say, okay, which one is this here? Let’s see. I don’t think it was the shoe one. I believe it was the tech one, or it might have been the chair one. So again, we need to look at this because some of these numbers are not verified and we need to take a look at where the value is. Slab way massage chair, most comfortable massage chair. TV recliner. Okay. So this one is actually very tight knit. All right. I like that. That’s good. In terms of what I would do with that site, if I was going to buy a site and it was tight knit and the traffic was all about the stuff. Do you guys see the difference? Type difference, smash a like button if you see the difference. All right.
Now, I will tell you that on this one, which is all over the place, there’s a secret money method, which I’m going to talk to you about in a minute where we’re going to glean from these sites because we know they make money. And that’s what we’re talking about here is gleaning from the sites so that we could see where the money’s at, because I want to go in and I want to treat this like a business. I want to go in and say, okay, here is what’s making money on this. Here’s where the money is. So I’m not going to do the skull candies. I’m not going to do the prime logins and all this stuff. What I’m going to do is I am going to stick to something that’s very important.
Now, Lisa says better commission on high ticket items. That’s not why I do this. It’s not a factor for me, because I don’t care. High ticket, low ticket does not matter to me in terms of Amazon affiliate commission because hey, you know what, less people buy chairs every day than buy cornstarch or whatever. So we need to understand that and we need to get our thinking in a different way. And you don’t have to pay anything. My goal here is to teach you the way to think differently, because a lot of people out there, a lot of entrepreneurs say, “Oh, you got to do high ticket.” High ticket can be good if you can get the traffic and it’ll convert. High ticket can also be very bad. High ticket can also pigeonhole you in something that might not work.
And what we’re going to do is we’re going to talk to you about a flaw that people have, because a flaw people have is they think that because Amazon has so many products… This is a flaw we saw in the beginning. I’ll show you in just a second. The flaw was like this thing. Ready made Amazon site, Amazon site with thousands and thousands of products. And what these people think is they think, okay, if I have a site, maybe I’m like Patrick over here. All right. Give us a thumbs up if you dig Patrick. He’s been on the board for like two years now. But what they think is, okay, well, if I have all these product names, I’m going to rank for product names because obviously if you search for whatever product, logi or Logitech mouse, obviously I can rank for that and it gets a lot of traffic, so naturally that would work. So we need to understand this in a real world way.
Now, when we go in and look at a site like this. Says, okay, $100,000, $2,000 a month. All right. $18,000 a month worth of free traffic. He’s got a lot of traffic. So now we need to take a look at this and say, well, what is it that’s going on? Because if you could find the niches and the money in these markets and then do the profit stack method, we’re going to stack the method, then you can get where you want to go, which is making a decent living. But the problem is these guys here, they get frustrated because they’re like, “I built this site. I worked my butt off and I’m only making 2,500 a month.” And you might say, “Only? Marcus, I’d like $2,500 a month.” And we’re going to talk to you about that in a way that’s going to make sense, in a way you can use.
So we look at this and we’re like, okay, cool. We have a lot of traffic. All right. And this guy is specific for drones and photo stuff, different things like that. Very cool. So we look at that. Here’s another one. That was for shoes. Now this one. All right. You’ve got 96 visitors a month from best women shoes for walking on concrete wide width walking shoes. Now notice that we’re already getting into understanding a major flaw people have.

A major flaw is that people like Patrick over here are going to go for the products. They’re going to go for the products, which is going to give them lots of competition, right? If I type a product in the box and I’m like, okay, DJI drone 500 or whatever. What you’re going to notice is that big sites are going to dominate, right? So if I go for the products like this. I search for a product, money gun 5,000 or Nerfball or Nerf, whatever. And we look at this, what’s going to happen is you’re going to have eBay. You’re going to have Amazon. You’re going to have Walmart. You’re going to have these big sites that you, there it is, you cannot compete with. So we need to understand that. We need to look at that in a real world way and say, “Okay, I can’t compete. I can’t compete.”
Now, one of the things that we’re going to notice here is the fact that these are question oriented. All right. What is the best women shoes for walking on concrete? What is the best wide width walking shoes? What are the best ones for wide feet? And on and on we go. So this traffic is very, very specific. Then we’re going to go through and say, well, what about the drone one? All right, well the drone one is like this here. And then you might go through and say, well, Marcus, what about these Amazon reviews? And he got some funny reviews. Like someone reviewed the Wolf of Wall Street. And he said, “I was disappointed because there were no wolves in the movie.” And then you have this guy who got in trouble for wearing the horse mask. And then you have this guy who wears this to read to his kids at night, which is just cruel. That’s just wrong.
But what’s going to happen here is you’re going to start to look at this and you’re going to start to say, okay, now I can get in here and I can answer questions about products. This is something you can do because what’s going to happen is when you have a keyword like this, all right, you’re going to have exo drones versus whatever and you’re going to see, okay, check this out. Now we have YouTube, we have Reddit, we have nerd better, exo drones, save on…
Notice how these are much smaller websites. All right. This is something I can do. All right. Does that make sense? Smash that like button. Let me know. Say I can do this. I can go out there and I can do research on which of these is going to do well for me. And I can take a look and I can say, hey, wait a minute.
This stuff actually works. If we go to ahrefs, we can see exactly what is going on. Okay. Very, very cool. And I think I have another ahrefs over here. Yes. So for that keyword, we’ll put this in here like this. You could see that keyword specifically is 800 searches a month. And it’s a very specific word. Now, one of the things I like about a word like this is the fact that it don’t matter what I sell. They’re looking for exo drones versus DJI, which means if Amazon has exo drones and DJI, I just talk about them and if they buy one of them, I’m going to get paid. All right.
Now, one of the other flaws we don’t talk about much in the community about Amazon is the fact that you only have a 24 hour cookie window. What does that mean? That means if you go to my site and you look at the exo drone versus whatever, and you click on Amazon to buy it, but you don’t buy in 24 hours, I don’t get paid. That’s like taking the money and putting it back in the old Lamborghini here. We got to go full screen on that. That is just going to be too much fun. Right. There you go. That’s like putting it back in the Amazon pocket because we’re not going to get that. So we need to understand this.
Now, one of the things I do like about Amazon is it does open up the world to a lot of traffic that we wouldn’t normally get that’s pretty low competition. Very, very important. So when we’re looking at this, we can even do something like drone versus. And see all the products. What kind of drones do they want? Drone versus this, yellow jacket versus drone, stuff like that. Right? Very, very cool. And we could do like DJI versus. And we could go upper level and say, okay, what about this? Now we got DJI Mini versus Mini 2, Mavic versus Mini 2, and on and on we go. So now we just open this up to a bunch more traffic. Are you guys starting to get aha moments here? We’re teaching the real world stuff here. If you stick around, you learn the stuff, you go do the stuff. If you want my help, there’s links on the bottom where we’ll help you out as well. So we need to understand, okay, this is actually something that can work.
Now, another site, which is the one that I liked, which was this one, actually had a really, really good keyword in it. And the keyword I liked was, let’s see, it was this guy over here. There we go. On this list here, at the top of the list, he had the bidet converter kit. 7,000 searches a month going to his site, that’s the traffic he’s getting, for bidet converter kit. Now what did I do? Well, I said, wait a minute. This stuff is actually pretty low competition. Bidet converter. So what I did is I said, I’m going to ignore everything else on his site. I’m going to ignore all the stuff he’s ranking for, because some of this stuff is just complete junk. I don’t really want it. I can’t really use it.
So what we’re going to do is we’re going to go out there and we’re going to say, okay, old Patrick out here has his website. And he did all these reviews and he’s got all this traffic and stuff. And he’s like, “Oh, hey, I make $500 a month, $800 a month. Look at me. I’m Patrick. I am the king.” Smash that like button for old Patrick here. And that’s what he says. He says okay, this is cool. This is what’s going on. But what Patrick doesn’t notice is that there’s gold in his sight. He just can’t see it. He can’t see it. He’s like, “Okay. I don’t see the money in the Lamborghini. I don’t see it.”
So what we’re going to do is we’re going to take Patrick’s site and we’re going to be like, “Hey, check it out, buddy. You got this bidet converter thing. I don’t know what these are. I don’t know what they do, but I do know people are looking them up.” So what I’m going to do is I’m going to go out there and I’m going to look at the stats. I’ll be like, okay, I like that. This is cool. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to go over here and we are going to search and isolate the word bidet. Now I can see right here, bidet converter kit gets, look at this here, gets 128,000 searches a month.
This is not a crappy niche. Ba-dum-tss. The jokes are free. Calm down. We’ll get back to the teaching in just a minute. But this is actually a very, very good niche. We’re looking at this and we’re like, wait a minute. So now I got all these noncompetitive keywords around a specific market that I can use to build and make money. Now Patrick’s over here and he is like, “I make $800 a month. Yay. I’m happy. This is great. Look at me go. Look at how wonderful I am.” Okay, like a lot of people. But I go in and I say, “Well, Patrick, buddy, you got this one thing here that you’re not even paying attention to that is now linking to what I believe is a market that can make $10,000 a month or more if done right.”
So what I do is I say, “Hey, wait a minute. Okay, what are we going to do?” Well, what we’re going to do is we’re going to get away from your big bulk everything site. This is the flaw when it comes to Amazon affiliate sites. People think the more products, the better it’s going to be. If I can go and buy some site that’s got 10,000 automatic loaded products, then I am going to be rich. I’m going to be richer than Patrick with his money filled Lamborghini. All right. But the problem is that doesn’t always work. What you’re doing is you’re throwing everything at the wall, trying to see what sticks, and nine times out of 10, the content is not going to be good so it’s not going to fit. And we need to understand exactly what’s going on. We need to look at this with a fine tooth comb and say, “Where is the gold in the niche?” Okay. That’s number one.
So first, Patrick needs to find the gold in the niche. Ignore the 800 bucks, because that don’t mean nothing to me. Doesn’t mean a darn thing because my money is on the fact that this is coming from this. I would bet that most of his $500 a month is coming from that keyword right there. So what he’s going to do is he’s going to scrap the big site. Say Marcus, “That’s fine. We’ll put that over here on the back burner.” And what I’m going to do is I’m going to go out there and I’m going to start a site about these bidets because they got lots and lots and lots and lots of traffic. So we’re going to pay attention to that and we’re going to look at how this really works.
Now there’s a couple others here we’ll take a look at. Here was one for the picture stuff. We looked at the pictures and the drones. Lot of money in that one. Again, look at the difference. 278 traffic from the top keyword, bidet 7,100. That’s what I want because the way this is going to work is traffic… And he might say, “Well, Marcus, buddy, drones cost more money, bidet converters, a hundred bucks. Okay, we’re going to talk about this in a minute.”
Marcus has been doing this a long time and there’s a way to look into this market and make more money.A couple others we had. I liked this one, because I was like, okay, the perfume site is actually making money. And just a couple months ago, I bought a domain that ranked for perfume. Now, this was a different language site. I think this one was in Spanish, which is fine. That’s cool. You could do that if you understand the language, it makes it a little bit easier. But you can get traffic for that. So I knew that perfume actually does really well. All right?
I also had another one here, which was about tech stuff. That was the drone one. And then whatever the one back here is, the chairs. Right? We had the chair one and then this one over here, which was for all kinds of stuff, like random stuff, treadmills, tattoo balm, random stuff.
So again the random stuff. But again, you look at it and it’s like, “This is the one driving all the money. So I’m going to focus my site on that.” So what we need to start to understand is, “Hey, Amazon has pretty much damn near everything you can buy. All right?” So let’s say we wanted to focus on the bidet niche. All right? And that’s a pretty solid one. It’s like, okay, I can do that. I can make it work.
What I’m going to do is I’m going to say, “Okay, forget about the other stuff. I’m going to isolate one niche set of products.” So what I’m going to do, I’m going to isolate the one thing… I’m going to focus. Okay? I’m going to get a domain. Instead of a domain like Patrick’s great Amazon money site, all right, I’m going to get something like the bidet reviews or whatever. Okay? Or whatever it is. Okay?
Preferably I’d probably go and I would buy an expired domain, right? Or a domain at auction that has traffic. Like just yesterday, I bought a domain. I don’t know. Am I logged in here? Let’s see. But toiletseatfinder.com was a site that actually worked pretty good. So why did I buy this? Well, I bought this because these are all these people looking up toilet seats. This is something we can do on Amazon. And if we do this in a simple way, I mean, again, all right. Now we got keywords. We got traffic coming in. We got stuff that’s actually working. We got stuff that’s there.
So I could go out there and I could say, “Hey, this is the one I can do.” Now, how many of you guys are getting it? You guys getting it? Here’s another one. I’ll show you some others that are out there that we could use. Here’s the one for Doc Lager. This was a like how to brew your own beer kind of site. I was like, “Okay. I could sell stuff in that niche.” There’s all these reviews for the big bubblers and whatever it is. Okay? All stuff for people that are doing this. And I know that people are into this.
Back when I used to drink, I had a keg fridge in my office. I spent like 15,00 bucks for the thing. Okay? Someone got paid commission because they reviewed it and talked about it. All right? So this is something we can do. How many of you guys are starting to get this? You’re like, “Okay, this is making sense.” Okay?
I usually buy expired domains using SpamZilla. Check out the links in the description for more details on that. Or I will buy them on GoDaddy auctions. Recently I’ve been going crazy on GoDaddy auctions because there’s lots of good stuff. Right? I had one for, let’s see, what else we had, Toilet Seat Finder. This one was for different like wine fridges. Okay? I had some others for… Let’s see here. Got one for laser tag, gardening, toy reviews, replica metals, all kinds of stuff. Right?
Some of these are good. Here’s one I bought on the 10th. So I bought it on the 10th for $200. A guy today came and he’s going to buy it for 1850. It’s like, “Okay, cool.” That’s like a 10X my money. I didn’t do anything with it. And that one didn’t even have back links. I just got it because it was a good name. So we’re teaching you stuff that actually works.
Again, remember the results are not typical, implied or guaranteed. The average person trying to make money online makes nothing. Calm down. Its fake money. There’s no reason to have real money in here. There ain’t nothing to buy. But we have lots of stuff there that you can use and lots of stuff that you can understand. Got one for chicken coops. Here’s one that we did for our boot camp, which was about dog allergies. Right? Really solid. So what we’re doing is we’re utilizing the traffic to make money. And that’s where the money is. Okay? If you can understand, “Hey, these people are buying chairs. Hey, these people are buying whatever this stuff is, a treadmill. These people are buying drones. These people are buying perfume. These people are buying bidets.” Okay?
So we start to understand this and we’re like, “Okay, I get it. I get it, Marcus.” But there is a problem. There’s a problem. And the problem is even if you got all 7,100 visitors. All right? So let’s take a look. Let’s do the math and we’re going to show you why people get all excited and make nothing. All right?
So here we got this. Amazon $44. So 44 bucks. All right? So let’s do some math here. Let’s see if we got space on the whiteboard. We’ll go right here, somewhere. Can you guys see over here? We’ll go over here. All right? So we got $44. Excuse me, Patrick. $44. Now, of the $44, Amazon is very generous. Calm down. That’s a joke. Amazon is not generous with their affiliate program.
So of the $44, you’re probably going to get like, let’s say 2%. So 2% of $44 is a whopping… What is that? Like 8 cents or 80 cents or something like that? 8 cents. We’ll call it 8 cents. So is that right? Is my math right? Let me just double check my math here because it’s been a long day and it’s only noon.
So we got $44 times 2%. I think it’s like literally 88 cents. All right. So 88 cents. So 88 cents. So that is saying with this site here, all right? This site here, that’s got the bidet keyword and he’s got the bidet keyword and he’s got 7,000 visitors a month. There he is, down there. There we go. All right. So he’s got 7,100 visitors a month. So let’s say in some weird world, we live in the everyone buys everything world, which you all know we don’t live in that world, but we’ll pretend.
So let’s say we live in that world. 88 cents times 7,100 visitors a month. That is approximately $7,000 a month that he would make if all the people who visited site not only clicked down his affiliate link, but also purchased. Okay? Now I’m going to tell you that is near, and probably impossible. Okay? What probably is going to happen is he’s going to get, if he does it right, he’ll probably get of those 7,100, he’ll probably get 10% to click on his link if he does it right. More, if he listens to Marcus. But Hey, you know what, not everyone does. That’s all right. That’s all good. Some people don’t like money. What are you going to say?

So 10% would probably click. Out of the 10%, they’re probably going to get another 10% to buy. So 700 click, 70 buy. So he made 88 cents times 70. How many of you guys are like, “Yeah, well, Marcus, that sucks.” I did all that work, I got a number one ranking, and I’m making like $70? Bro, dude, I don’t like this.” That’s what most people do because they don’t see what the real money is about. Because here’s what I’m going to do and this is important.
This is important. The important part is I got 7,100 people that are interested in a bidet. I couldn’t get that traffic if I was just doing something else. Now, I can also put them to Amazon. I could see if they’re buying the bidet. Good, great. I could see what’s going on. But now I’m going to go and I’m going to find a bidet affiliate program. And you might say, “Well, Marcus, that’s difficult to do. I mean, what do you do here? How do you do that?”
Well, you’re going to go to Google and you’re going to type in bidet converter kit affiliate program. I’m going to try to find one that pays better. Okay? So we got the bidet king. Okay, cool. He probably pays better. Here’s the luxury bidet for the people that want to do their business in luxury. All right? You got that. You got some others here, home improvement.So there are some other things. Now you can also… And notice, notice. Smash a like button when you get this. Notice the process, notice the flow. This is what you want to pay attention to. So I’m going to have other affiliate programs. I could also do drop shipping, be like, “Hey, Mr. Bidet King, you want to drop ship these? I’ll sell them all day long.”
Simple. Again, focus on the traffic. I can also look at paid ads. Right? So very important. We’re going to look at that and we’re like, “Okay, that’s where the money’s at.” Okay? So Amazon is kind of like a means to an end. All right. We’ll put some reviews up. Hopefully some people buy. Hopefully I get some money. Now, I do have friends that make hundreds of thousands of dollars a month with the Amazon affiliate program. And I will tell you, they have a lot of traffic and the traffic comes from influencer stuff where they’re like, “Literally go buy this.”
Okay. So that traffic is going to convert better and they have a lot of traffic because, hey, if you’re only getting 10% to convert, you’re not doing that good. Now, if we do this a different way and we say, “Okay, my job is not to make this big site with all these lengths of things that people can buy.” No, no, no. My job is to get as much traffic for this as possible, build a site around it and then get as many people to buy the thing that pays me the most. Right?
So we’re going to go out there and we’re like, “No, I don’t want all the junk. I want this and I want stuff related to this.” Because that’s where the money is going to be. So now, if I go out there and one of you guys probably should go out there and if you want one of these sites, I actually am going to be on the lookout for a bidet domain that we can use for a site and we’ll use it as a high ticket niche. You could check out highticketniches.com and you can get that site.
I buy these all the time because the stuff works. Buy domains, rank, them, sell them really easy. You guys saw how I did this with nerd getting fit and other stuff like that. Okay? So we got to look at this. Now, we’re going to take a look at the pros and cons of the Amazon. Now Tony says one site per item. No one category per item, per site. So the category is going to be all the bidet stuff.
So what I going to try to do eventually is be like, “Hey, instead of getting a bidet converter kit, I’m going to do buy a bidet or prices.” Okay? So I’m going to try to sway them from the converter kit to a $500 product. Okay? Does everyone get that? Does that make sense to everyone? Because if you could do that, now we’re out of 88 cents per sale land and now we’re into some big bucks. I could also build a mailing list on this site and say, “Hey, if you haven’t decided yet, we’re going to review a bunch of these or we’re going to test a bunch of these.”
And when you start to understand how this works, now we’re getting into the big bucks. But the problem is, is that people don’t look at the stuff realistically. They’re going to go and they’re going to say, “Hey, the product keywords are saturated. You got Amazon. You got Walmart. You got all these people.” They all got the big bucks, but there ain’t no room for little guys like me and you to build an Amazon site and make money.
O contraire, there are ways. They also say, “Oh, well, Marcus, it’s a low payout. 88 cents on a $20 item. I’m not going to be making much.” All right. Well, last I check, Jeff Bezos looks pretty good selling inexpensive stuff and some expensive stuff. But notice, notice ladies and gentlemen, what did he start with? He started with books. Why did he start with books? Well, if you pay attention, the reason he started with books is because books had lots and lots of skew numbers.
So instead of being in bidets, which is good for us now because a lot of people search for it and it’s easy, but back then when he was started, he needed a lot of traffic to make billions of dollars. And he said, “Well, there’s like a million different books. All right? And I think Marcus has a few of them over here. And he was like, “Hey, wait a minute. So I got all these books and all these things and I can rank for the title of a book.”
Let’s test it out. All right. Let’s say we got… What do we got? Soap making. All right? So here’s a soap making book. Now, how to make money. Soap making. There it is. All right? Soap making for fun and profit. So we go over here and we’re going to test his stuff out. Let’s see. Let’s transition here, switch over there. And we’ll do soap making for fun and profit.
All right. Soap making for fun or profit. Let’s do soap making book or something like that. Okay? So now we have soap making books and stuff like that. Okay? And we’re like, okay. So now he’s tackling traffic he would’ve not normally gotten for this book. And this book might get 300 searches a month. And this book over here might get more. Okay? We look at it, we’re like, “Okay, here’s another one, alone together.” All right? You type that in. And you’re like, “Okay, let’s take a look. We got alone together. Alone together book or whatever.” Okay? Alone together book.
600 searches a month. All right? And he’s like, “Well, you know what? I really don’t care because, hey, if I sell 50 of these…” What he was doing was he was building this up. Right? It wasn’t about selling the book. It was never about selling the book. Your site is not about selling the one item. I’m not getting that traffic because I want to sell the bidet converters. I’m getting that traffic because I want a customer or someone on a mailing list that’s interested in whatever that niche he’s interested in. It was never about selling the book. It was about getting the customer. And once you understand that, you’re like, “Wait a minute, wait a minute. I’ve been doing this all wrong.”
You’re like, “Wait a minute. Wait a minute. I’ve been doing this all wrong. I thought it was all about just Amazon reviews. I thought it was just all about this other stuff. I didn’t know that I could literally do this. I could literally go out there, and I could say, “I’m going to get a list of the top, let’s say books,” or whatever. Okay. We’ll do, “List of top books on depression.” Okay. There’s a method to my madness. Stick around my friends, and smash that like button, if you get it. Top lists of books on depression. Okay, here we go. You got all these books, and you’re like, “Okay, books on depression.”
We’ve got this one here. I’ve got a lot of content, here. We’ll try to find the books. “Okay To Not be Okay.” “Okay That You’re Not Okay.” All right, watch this. You ready for an A-ha moment? Now, why would people look up her books? Why do people do it? I didn’t buy this book because I like gardening. I bought this book because I was interested in the fact that people are on their phones, and they don’t talk to people anymore, and that depresses me, as this niche would imply. The reason people do that is because they’re looking for books on depression, probably because they’re not feeling so hot. You could literally say, “Here’s the top books on this,” or, “Here’s a review of this book,” and then, you can go over to the old offer vault. Watch this, here is where the magic starts to happen because. Here’s the deal. You sell the depression book. It costs $12. You’re making pennies. But, if we go over here to Offer Vault, I’ll show you in just a minute, and we type in, “better help,” better help or better health? Something like that.
“Better help counseling.” Hey, here’s the top books. Here’s my review of this book. By the way, if you’re struggling with this, you could go to the doctor, or you could get an online counselor, and that pays $175 a sale, which is actually a lead. They just need to sign up. How many of you guys are like, “Wait a minute. Okay. Now, I get it.” Again, come on up here. I’ve got something to talk about. We’ve got something important to talk about here. The important thing to talk about is, when you’re doing niches like this, make sure that you focus on helping your market. Don’t talk about things you don’t know about. Don’t talk about things that are weird, or whatever. Focus on, “Hey, here’s a book review. By the way, here’s something that might help you.” If you do that, you can understand that there’s a lot more money in these markets. By being an Amazon affiliate, now, I can get book traffic.
I wouldn’t be able to do that otherwise. By being an Amazon affiliate, now I can get the bidet converter traffic. By being the Amazon affiliate, now I can get this traffic, and I make some money with it. Then, I sell other things, and I build less. Imagine, if instead of being like Patrick here, and you’re like, “Hey, I got all these random products on Amazon, because I like getting a quarter every 5 million visitors.” No. Imagine if Patrick wised up, and listened to his old buddy Marcus, and said, “Hey, I’m going to go for books about a specific topic. I’m going to go for books that are about economics, or stock markets, or saving,” or whatever it is. We start to understand that now, I’m building a following. Now, I’m building a following of these people that are interested in this stuff. Now, I’m building something of value.
This is exactly what Bezos did when he started Amazon. He’s like, “I’m going to go for books. But, at the end of the day, it ain’t about books. At the end of the day, it’s about customers. Now that I have customers, I could sell them everything. I know they like stuff fast, so we’ll ship it to them faster than anything. That’s how we’re going to make money.” But, it never would’ve started had he said, “Oh well, it’s about the product.” If he said it was all about the product, he probably wouldn’t be here today, making zillions of dollars. Okay.
Now, what this is, this is a traffic method. Stuff you should buy: “Marcus, thank you so much. Can’t believe I have just been using Amazon affiliate links. So many better payout.”
Yes, and once you understand that, it’s about the traffic. It’s about the traffic. We’ve got other books here, we could do this all day long, right? We could do this all day long. Once you understand that people buy books in certain markets, because they’re interested in certain things, I can now tackle that market, and get that traffic that I wouldn’t normally have been able to get. Then, I start to understand that this works in a real world way. If you do the bidet niche right, or the book niche right, now, I can go out here and say, “Hey, wait a minute. Here’s all these people. I can convince them that a bidet converter is not as good as this product, or that product.” Or, maybe if you’re interested in a bidet, you’re interested in other stuff.” You start to understand exactly how this is working.
You start to understand that you are using this for traffic, and that so many people search so many things. Amazon worked because it was a site that got lots of traffic from Google. Without Google, Amazon would not have existed. It wouldn’t. Nobody cared about it. But, y’all went there and typed in “Books,” and you said, “I want this book here,” and you bought the book. Later, he’s like, “Now we have headphones,” and that showed up on Google. Once you understand that this trillion dollar business exists because people found it on Google, then you start to say, “Wait a minute. Wait a minute, Marcus. You’re telling me that’s worth money? You’re telling me that’s worth money? You’re telling me people searching for this, and this, and this, is all money?”
That’s exactly what I’m telling you. Once you understand that, and you start to think different, boom! There you go. Can I have an email list from bidet to selling books? No. You could say, “Hey, while you’re sitting on your new bidet, read a book.” I think that’s a stretch. No, I’m going to keep it niche specific. Maybe you could do bathroom remodels, maybe you could do other products, different things like that. But, you’ve got to keep it very specific. The more specific you keep it, the more money you’re going to make. That’s the key. With the bidet one, if I wanted to make $10,000 a month in that niche, I’m sure I could do it. Results are not typical, imply to guarantee. The average person makes nothing. I’m pretty sure I could do that, because if I was able to drop ship it, that would work. Affiliate might work as well. But, if I can find a way to get that sweet spot of maybe making $25 to $50 on a bidet, that’s going to be key.
Let’s just type this in. Let’s see. Bidet, how do you spell bidet? That’s a weird word. It’s a very strange word. Let’s see up here. I know I typed it. There it is. Bidet. Let’s just look at this. Okay, nothing on Offer Vault. Maybe toilet, maybe something like that, or bathroom. If we can find that sweet spot where we’re getting paid more, that’s going to be the cane. If we can get the $25, $50 a sale, that’ll start to make a difference. There is a way to do it, you just need to think about it. Very important.

I bought some pretty inexpensive, like toilet seat finder one, that wasn’t super expensive. It’s a good one. It all has to do with knowing what you’re looking for. I could sell that stuff. Goat soap, stuff like that. This domain, I think I got it for less than $200, and lot of back links. We could do all kinds of stuff with that. Okay, yeah. If you got a ranking in three days, that means you picked the right keyword, and that’s not unheard of, it happens all the time. Congrats, that’s awesome. “Do I ever build out sites without using your usual WordPress template?” No, that’s my go-to. It’s easy, and the search engines like it.
“Look for websites for sale first?” Depends on what you’re doing. If you can find one, that’s good, but a lot of them, they’re going to be expensive. $10,000 for a site making $500. A site making $1,000 month for $35,000. I got my perfume site, I don’t know if I have it on this list here, but I bought it pretty inexpensively. I think it was less than $100. Now, I wasn’t making money, but I know how to do that. There we go.
“Do you have any other tools other than Ahrefs to do search?” Go to theprofitscoop.com. A lot of people don’t know, but there’s a lot of free tools I have here on the profit scoop. There’s a ton of stuff.

Press Release SO Secret Ranking Hack
Wait a minute, $14 million a month? $2.9 million a month? $959,000, $5.8 million and they’re all doing what? Most people when they try to teach you how to make money online, they get the formula all wrong. They’re going to tell you to do something like this. Take a ClickBank link, put it on a free classified ad site, get a bunch of traffic and make a bunch of money. But we all know that works about as good as leaving a jug of milk out in the hot sun and expecting a cool beverage at the end of the day.
So today we’re going to do something a little different. We’re going to take a look at some of these super high income earning websites, reverse engineer what they’re doing, and find a solid way that ordinary people like you and me can make lots of money, but this is going to be a pretty hefty process. So we’re going to need to take the Lambo to the office.
All right. Here is the real formula to making this work. Copy this exact process for fast results. First of all, what we’re going to do is we’re going to find top income earning sites in our niche. Now in this one, I am deliberately using the stock market niche because it’s ridiculously competitive and if we can make it work in this niche, we could pretty much make this work anywhere.
Let’s go ahead and take a look at some of these sites. Over here, we have Fool.com, which is the Motley Fool website. You can see, they rank for millions of keywords. They got millions of dollars worth of traffic each and every month. Now, what we’re going to do is we’re going to click the back links button on all of these websites and show you a little hidden secret. Here’s another one we have here for Benzinga.com, all kinds of trading advice, stock trading, financial insight, stuff like that. Here we have investorplace.com, seekingalpha.com, and stocktwins.com, which is popping in at 5.8 million visitors a month.
Now keep in mind, this is free traffic. Again, when we talk about the formula that the other guys use with the ClickBank and the free and the whatever, we want to really focus on, what makes money first. Before you start a business, a niche or whatever, you need to know how you’re going to get paid. Let’s take a look at how these sites are getting paid. If we were to go to Google and search for something like top stocks, we’re going to see a lot of ads here at the top, and we’re also going to see some ads down here at the bottom. Now, I went over something that’s kind of a secret, but I want to clear that up in just a minute. Since these are ads, that means they’re paying money for clicks to their website. No, not sales. Just clicks.
According to the Google AdWords Keyword tool over here, some of these guys are paying ridiculous amounts of money just for clicks to their website. But what does this mean about how you are going to make money online? Well, it’s actually pretty simple. If these advertisers are willing to pay for traffic in this niche, and you can get traffic in this niche, then you can make lots and lots of money.
First off, we went and found the top earning sites in our niche. Then number two, we are going to take a look at their back links. What is a back link you might ask? Well, quite simply, it’s a link that links back to a website. If you ever go to like Wikipedia or something like that, and they link to a website saying, hey, this website has more information on whatever, or you click a person’s name and it goes to their website or whatever it is, that is known as a back link. Wikipedia is linking to the website, which makes it boost up in the search engine rankings and get lots and lots of traffic if done correctly.
You can also see back links from different sites, like maybe news websites. Maybe there’s other websites like directories, maybe there’s bloggers or guest blogging or whatever it is, and there’s lots of ways that you can get back links, but we’re not talking about that. We’re actually talking about something a little bit easier and a lot more sinister and something that can produce pretty much instant results.
Wait a minute, Marcus. I like them instant results. Well, good. Then listen up because when we take a look at these back links in a tool like Ahrefs, what you’re going to notice is that if we type something in like news right here and we isolate it, yeah, this same website making millions of dollars a month is actually pinging from lots and lots of different news websites and PR outlets.
Wait a minute. What? Yep. That’s right. In fact, if you search for something like top stocks, as I did earlier, you can actually see down here top stories. You can see that this website actually dominates with three out of four news results. Since this keyword gets lots and lots of traffic, they are dominating simply by submitting news articles. If we click here for more news, you can see the Motley Fool, Yahoo Finance, CNBC, Banking Rates, Forbes, and on and on we go.
And step number three, we’re going to go ahead and locate the secret websites. You can look at their back links and take a look at where they’re at. A lot of these guys are going to use AP news, PR web, and other press release submission sites. Now, remember if you don’t have a lot of money, there are some free press release sites out there that you can find and submit press release for free. If you don’t have a website, you can link to your affiliate links. Motley Fool, ClickBank, all these places have lots of programs for stock type things.
Now, number four, this is very, very important. This is what’s going to get you results. I’ve used this for years to get millions of visitors to my websites in a very simple way. But remember the results are not typical, implied, or guaranteed. This is a business. There is some trial and error. There is some strategy I’ve been doing this 20 years and the average person makes nothing. But if you’re able to go out there and strip out the lower competition words, I think you’re going to get ahead like crazy.
Now, notice how we did like top stocks and things like that. The way that I found that keyword is by going to someone like Fool.com, which is a stock site. I went to the organic keywords like this, and then I went ahead and isolated based on the lowest KD number. I went over to KD and I put it at 20 or less. Since we’re using press releases, we can go a little bit higher than if we were using a brand new website. What this is going to do is show us all the different keywords that they rank for that has low competition that gets lots and lots of traffic. Since these are like stock symbols, you could simply write a press release about what’s going on with the stock symbol. It’s actually very simple. Take that traffic, lead them to your affiliate links, lead them back to your websites and boom, your golden.
You could see this specific keyword actually has several of the websites we’re looking at now and several press releases, including one that was put up just 23 minutes ago. You might be saying, yeah, but Marcus, that’s CNN. I’m just a dude in a backyard office with a fake Lamborghini. Well, if you do a search for PRweb.com and your favorite keyword tool, you’re going to see that they rank for lots and lots of keywords, and some of these were put up less than 30 minutes ago. Here’s one put up a minute ago, 59 minutes ago, one minute, 38 minutes. As you can see, these things rank super fast.
Having the right keyword with this method is key and writing good content, good newsworthy content that warrants a press release is also key. Then in step number five, we’re going to submit the press release to these sites based on the words we found in step number four. Again, remember before you do anything, make sure you know how you’re going to get paid, paid, money. Then within our press release, step six, we’re going to point them to our affiliate links or our website. And remember if you point him to your website, you’re going to be growing something over and over and over again and it’s going to build and compound, which is key.
