Checklist: Convert Excel to PDF
Preparation
- Verify the Content:
- Ensure all data, charts, and images in the Excel file are finalized.

- Click Publish to save as a PDF.
- Alternative: Print as PDF:
- Go to File > Print.
- Select Microsoft Print to PDF or another PDF printer.
- Adjust print settings (e.g., selected sheets, workbook, or custom pages).
- Click Print and choose a save location for the PDF.
- Third-Party Tools (Optional):
- Use tools like Adobe Acrobat, online converters, or dedicated software for additional features, such as combining files or compressing PDFs.
Post-Conversion Review
- Open the PDF:
- Check the PDF file to ensure the formatting, layout, and data appear as expected.
- Verify Compatibility:
- Ensure the PDF opens properly on various devices or software if sharing with others.
- Optimize (if necessary):
- Use a PDF editor to compress, crop, or make other adjustments.
