Today we’re going to talk about how you can get started making money online with blogging.

 

Find What People Are Interested In

Most people don’t get paid just to blog. Most people are paid to generate an audience. You need to get relevant people to see your blog by talking about relevant topics. So you do this by finding something that people are interested in.

Now, a lot of people will tell you to blog about your passion, or blog about something you’re interested in, or something like that. That’s good, but you also have to be blogging about things other people are actually interested in. So if you’re interested in something that no one else in the world cares about, you’re not going to make any money blogging. It has to be something very relevant.

 

Use Google Keyword Planner

You can use the Google AdWords Keyword planner tool to find out what people are searching for every single day. Four million people search Google every second—that’s 4 million different searches every minute. That’s a lot of people that you can get to your blog.

If you’re looking to be a blogger from the comfort of your own home, and you want to make money with this, you need to generate an audience. You are going to be paid in direct proportion to the value of your audience.

Let’s say you start to write about a topic and you get a following. People come to your blog and read your stuff and watch your videos.

It’s all about influence.  If you can get your audience to do something, then you can make money. And there are plenty of ways to make this happen.

 

CPA Marketing

Perhaps you can get your audience to perform an action. You can do CPA (cost-per-action) marketing, where you get paid when visitors enter their information on a form, or they download something, or they call a number. They don’t even have to buy anything.

 

Affiliate Marketing

You can also do affiliate marketing. With this, you go to websites that have affiliate programs, you sign up and get a custom link that goes to your product, and you paste that link on your website.

Make sure that you have a good affiliate disclaimer that tells your visitors that you are an affiliate of the product. That way they don’t think it’s an unbiased review, since you’re getting paid to do it.

You can also do what is known as Google Adsense. This is a great way to monetize your audience, because all you have to do is stick ads on your blog, and you get a check when people click on the ads.

There are other things you can do as well, like

• making a mailing list
• creating a YouTube channel around your blog

The name of the game is being able to get lots of people to view your content. In order to do that, you have to know what people are searching for.  All you have to do is write about that, focus on the people that want things in your niche, and link them to things that make you money.

Make Money With Blogging- How I Earned My First $230 And How I Make A Full Time Income With My Blogs

Hey guys its Marcus here and welcome to the affiliate marketing dude note section.  Today what I’m going to do is I’m going to break up how to make money blogging.  We’re going to start with the story of how I first get started blogging and how I made my first $230. Now I want you to note that this report will be kind of long.  This is a detailed note that also answers all of your questions and everything like that.

Now you can go out there on the web to watch a 9 minute or 20 minutes videos or even read short articles on how to set up a blog and make money but are they going to give you the whole details? Are they going to get you the real deal of what you need to do to get started and start making this business work for you? Chances are you’re going to run into a lot of different videos, opinions, and things about what it really takes to make money online through the blogging platform.

A Little Bit About Me

Now if you’ve known me, I’ve been around since about 1999/2000 when I started my business. I got into blogging in around 2006-got really heavy into it in 2008/2009. Since then, I have made 7 figures (multiple 7 figures) from my blog using various different traffic methods, offers, and various different things that I have promoted on this blog in a really cool way.  Just before I started writing this note, I did some research and found out some statistics from popular blogs. And some of those popular blogs are getting probably like 10 times of the amount of traffic that I’m getting yet, they’re not making that much.

We were actually comparing the difference between the traffic and the people out there making between 10 cents to 50 cents to a dollar per visitor.  We are making $3 per visitor and they even include repeat visitors. So we want to take a look at this and hash it out.  We’re going to go through and show you exactly how it works. If you’re feeling frustrated and you feel like your computer is about to just clonk out because it is overwhelmed just like you are, then we’ve got good stuff in store for you.  Or if you’re like, “Marcus, I’ve been running and running and trying to get into that money but I can’t seem to get anywhere.  It’s like I’m on an endless tread-milling, there is no way for me to make money blogging so can you spell it out in a real-world way?”. That’s exactly what we’re going to do and we’re starting right now with how to make money blogging online.

What we’re going to do today is:

• Talk about how this whole blogging platform thing works and
• Show you the in and out of what you need to do to actually make this stuff works.

So if you’re frustrated with making money online, you feel like maybe you can set up a blog or maybe you can’t. But you’re just having troubles getting into the money. That’s what we’re going to solve today. Now, do you feel like you’re working very hard and getting nowhere? Would you like to see a forecast in your future? The future where you’re making money every single week? That’s our goal here.

But first what we’re going to do is we’re going to disclaimers because what you’re going to see here is my personal results. These are the results that I’ve gotten from almost 20 years of making money on the internet. Now, are you going to get the same results as me? Probably not! However, I would say, one of my students actually went on to make more than I have and he is doing extremely well.

So what we want to do is to declaimer this and say, “The average person looking to make money blogging literarily makes nothing”. Now you’re going to see some success stories on the internet where people are making $250,000 a month blogging, $50000 a month blogging, 10,000 a month blogging, $1000 a month blogging, and whatever. Sure, you’re going to see these statistics, but what you’re not going to see is the behind the scenes. And the behind-the-scenes of many big bloggers is the fact that they have a lot of traffic. I’m talking “a lot of traffic like a quarter of a million views, a million views a month, and lots of views”. Now, you guys know that traffic can be difficult and daunting to get. We’ve got SEO- how do we get ranked on the search engine? We’ve got pay per click- how can we afford traffic when the big companies are buying all the words. We’ve got all these things that are seemingly going against us and it looks like how are we going to do this.

How is a guy going to start from nothing and be able to get something? And that’s what we’re going to talk about in this course. How do you start with nothing and actually make this work? That’s a very important thing and we’re going to go through that today.

Again the disclaimer: Results are not typical, most people make nothing but I think if you follow these instructions, you can get a little taste of result and that’s all it takes. Just like years ago (almost 21 years ago from here) when I made my first $21 online. Now I had made money online by selling website but I never made passive income from a sit. I remembered that day very clearly as I was over there (4th of July, 18 years ago), and I’m sitting there at my dad’s house. And I go home, looked at my computer and I found out that I made $21 today out of a site that I built. And I thought to myself, “This is crazy”.  That little taste was enough to make me say, “You know what? This works”. Now a lot of people will get that taste, and be like, “Whatever, I made $21. Great, maybe it’s a fluke, whatever”. But the fact of the matter is those who are going to make it are the ones that get the little taste and lash on, go full force and make it work. And that’s the important part that you need to look at. Because if you can make a dollar online, you can make $10. And if you can make $10, you can make a $100 and if you can make $100, you can make $1000. And that’s really what it boils down to. It’s the same exact process. And as you build this blog, as you set things up, you’re going to get better and better. You’re going to learn about your market more. You’re going to understand what they want. You’re going to learn more about offers. Hopefully in one of my coaching courses, you can ask me how to make it better. And you’re going to go, you’re going to build these things up and it’s not as hard as people will think. But I’ve got to tell you, there is a lot of myth about how to make money online. Now when I first started blogging in 2006, I was frustrated. I was listening to tele-seminars( that’s what we listened to back then), I was watching the very limited amount of videos and trying to learn the stuff. They were talking about things like movable type”, they talked about WordPress, and they talked about all these platforms. And back then we actually have to install the services on our server, ourselves.

So there I was, that time I converted my garage into an office. I was in my garage and it was 4 in the morning. It was hot and humid and I’m sitting there and I’m like, “what am I going to do? I know I need a blog. I’ve made millions of dollars online before this point but I knew I had to get into blogging because that was what was taking over and getting big. I was looking at it and I’m like, ‘okay, how am I going to install this or do that?” I’m not a programmer, I’m not that techy. I would like make a file 777 which is the writeable thing that you need when you’re uploading stuff. And it was a very difficult thing to do.

And I gave up. I’m like, “well,, I make money online, do my own stuff, I’m not just going to bother with this, I’m good”. Then couple of years go by, everyone starts talking about blogging, so we looked at this trend and I’m like “okay, 2009 rolls around and I’ve got to get into blogging”.

So I paid someone a small fortune to set up a blog, and make it fancy looking and everything like that. I remember one of the things that I like about blogging because when I set up old web pages I had to go to the search engine. I had to get backlinks,. Tell them I existed, do all this stuffs to make it work. But I noticed when I started blogging; I put up a simple little blog post up to test it. And I literarily got ranked in Google in 53 seconds (I still have the screenshot somewhere on one of my old computers).

I was like, “hey, this site was put up 52 seconds ago, and there it is on Google and it’s really cool. We’re going to look at that and we’re going to focus on what people want. We’re going to be like, ‘how do we make this blog work? There I was, I made this thing rank right away.

Here we are, I set up a blog, it ranks in Google, I’m like cool, “hey this is working, this is awesome”. To me, I lashed on to that really fast. I was like, “hey check this out, this thing ranked right away in Google”. I was happy, that is working and that gets me really good results.

Now I noticed that one of my blogs started ranking for a keyword and that keyword generated me $230, and that was the first $230 that I made with blogging, which is cool. It was for an affiliate product that I sold. We later went on and used the same tactics to rank a similar type keyword for a different affiliate product. And I went in and make like $3000 sale with one ranking, with 131 people who saw the post. Like the amount I made in that post for the traffic was insane.

So we’ve got to look at this and focus, and say, ‘what can we do with these stuffs?”. So first and foremost, we want to look at this and say blogging is powerful, blogging is big, WordPress is one of the biggest platforms in the world. There is a lot of blogs out there that are making lots of money, which are doing lots of stuffs getting lots of traffic. Now on the flip side, there are also lots of blogs out there that get very little traffic. There is also a lot of blog out there that gets a lot of traffic but makes very little money. So, what we’re going to do is we’re going to go through the 13 myths of blogging. What are the 13 myths of setting up your blog and making it work? How do we focus on this, how do we narrow it down and dive into what works? So here we go, let’s go through the 13 myth.

Myth One: If you build it they will come

People say, “Well, you know what? Just go do your thing. Like Garry Ville, he’s great, he’s got good stuff), but over and over he’s like “check this out, just do what you do buddy, keep doing what you do. Keep doing it, follow your passion”. And that’s a good advice to a degree, and I know what he means. He’s like, ‘hey we need to do it in the right way”. What we want to do is we want to focus the right way. If you build it they would come, it’s not going to work. If you set up a blog about, “how to make money, how to lose weight or how to cook” doesn’t promise anyone to visit your site. That doesn’t do anything. I don’t care how good of an idea it is, I don’t care how great your niche, I don’t care how good your content is, I don’t care how nice your blog looks. I don’t even care if you’ve spent $100,000 buying a fancy domain name, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that you do things deliberately and focus. What we’re going to talk about here as we get through this course is on how to focus on what’s going on, focus on what really works. If we build it, will they come? No they will not. So we’ve got to get that myth out of our head and we’ve got to say, “If we build it they will come? No, we need to build deliberately based on what we want to do, based on our focus, based on what we want. They can base on what the traffic is doing.

Myth two-If I have enough offers I’ll make money

A lot of people think that if they set up their blog and they have different banner ads for all kinds of different affiliate program, then they’re going to make money. Obviously, someone is going to click on one of those ads and I’m going to make something, right? You’re like, “well, maybe I’d make money if there is a lot of ads”. Well, that’s a very big myth that gets people off on the wrong foot. It gets them off on the wrong foot because of the fact that it’s not targeted. We’ve got to focus and target our ads for our visitors. This is what we call selling within the content or informational marketing.

What we’re doing is we are informing the market of something. So, instead of building a site, going out there and trying to do stuff, we’re going to go through and be like, “hey, you know what? I need to write this content based on this specific keyword. I need to solve this specific keyword problem in the blog post and then I need to point to my affiliate offer”.  The key is streamlining.

Myth three: It takes a long time to see results

Now a lot of people come to me and they are like, “Marcus, how do I make money really fast? I need like $5 today? And I’ll be like “can you do that? Maybe you can, maybe you cannot. But we’ve got to really focus. We’ve got to determine what it is we want. We’ve got to look at that and say,” How can I get results fast?” Like I said, when somebody is ranking 5 seconds( Again results are not typical, some people rank really good, some people take a while to rank, some people never rank usually because they’re not doing it right. But the main thing here is that we need to focus on the word “deliberate”. We need to do everything deliberate. Just before I write this note, I was doing some research on a new keyword tool that I went and look up. Then I looked up that keyword tool and I was like, “okay, let’s look up my site and look up some competitor’s site”. And I went through, and I found on my site a lot of keyword that people were coming to my site from. I went in and I focused on those words and now if I make content based on those words, I’ll start to rank even higher and start to get more.

Then I go look at my competitor site for other keywords that I want to get. I do the same thing: I start to rank for them and I start to focus. I start to really do deliberate actions. And this is stuffs that you guys can see and you know just by listening to me and looking up what’s going out there on the internet that this works. And you know this works because you see it. On every keyword term, 10 people have free rankings. Any keyword you look up in Google has 10 people who are not paying to be there. Think about that! That’s your market. Some of these keywords are generating hundreds of thousands of dollars a month. One little keyword, hundreds of thousands of dollars a month. And I want you to stop looking at keyword as some less relevant stuff: I want you to look at it as something inventory. This is your inventory where you can start getting in there and you can focus.

So we want to look at that and we want to focus and say, “does it take a long time to see results?’. No, it does not. If you do this right and you do this deliberately, you might not make a thousand dollar overnight or whatever. But again, remember that $21 was my turning point,  I was like, “wow, I can get money from the internet from something that I did”. So we’ve got to focus. We’ve got to look at this and understand what is going on and we’ve got to be deliberate.

A lot of time I’ve done paid ads to my blog made a lot of money. Currently, I spend thousands of dollars on paid ads to send to my blog to deliberately boost it up to get sales. So it’s very important.

Myth 4- I have to write every day

Another big myth people have about blogging is, “Marcus if I start a blog, do I have to write every day? Like do I have to be like that guy on Twiter and Pinterest and Instagram where they go out there and write about what I did last night, this morning and write, write, write?” No! Not at all. That’s a big myth. You don’t need to write every day to be a blogger. Most of my blogs, I think we probably write close to every day now because I’m trying to build it really big. But up until then, I probably did like ones a week or something like that. And even now, I just hired people to take my videos, makeup content, put them on the blog and we get traffic from this blog posts in a really easy way. And that’s the name of the game.

And again, remember how I said keywords are inventory. If you have a keyword and you’re like, “well, Marcus is right, I can’t rank for the word, make money online, but I can probably rank for some other keywords that get maybe 50 visitors a day.”

If a keyword gets 50 searches a day, maybe I can get 10 visitors. If I do a blog post and let’s say it takes me 45 minutes to do one blog post and it gets 15 visitors a day. If I can generate 10 cents, 20 cents or maybe 30 cents a visitor( depending on the keyword module). That is $45. Again, you can do another one in the next day and make more. Would that be 45 minutes well spent? Be honest, 45 minutes for 5 bucks, you’re like “that really sucks? Here is what you’re missing. You’re missing the fact that you do the blog post once, it ranks and you get that every day. Someday you might make 40 to 50, some days you might make nothing, some days you might make 20 bucks.

Again, results are not typical, implied guaranteed, most people make nothing. These are all hypothetical except for the stuffs that I show you that I’ve done. I only show you my stuffs. Think about this, if we do $4.50 cent times 365 which equals $1640.  Now again take a look at this in the real world way because if we got another one, if you spend another 45 minutes and amounts to like $400 a year, and another one did $3200 a year, that’s great. This is where people mess up, “do you think that $100,000 is a lot of money?. I want you to visualize and think about what $100,000 would buy, what would it do for your life? I want you to think about, how would it make things work for you? Maybe you’ll take vacations, maybe your wife could quit her job, and maybe both could quit your job. Maybe you could stop living on a fixed income, maybe you could take care of old bills.. Think about that! Is $100,000 a lot of money? Sure, $100,000 may look far away but here is the deal. Did you know that $100,000 is only a $100,000 bills? If you could find a way to make $1000 and do it a 100 times, there you go! Or it’s only 30 multiplied by 3000. So we look at this, break it down and we’re like, “okay so thirty multiplied by three thousand. That means all I’ll have to do is have thirty different blog posts about good topics that are relevant, that makes like $8 a day. I mean, think about that. If I had 30 blog posts making an average of $8 a day, done, that’s $100,000 a year.

Again, results not typical implied or guaranteed. Not every blog post will make $8, some will make way more, most of them that I see people do makes nothing. We’re going to do it how to do it the deliberate and right way that will make the odds in your favor. $8 is not that hard but the key is you’ve got to do deliberate actions every single day.

Myth 5- people will know who I am

Marcus if I’m a blogger people are going to know who I am”. That’s a big myth.  It’s a myth because people don’t need to know who you are. It doesn’t matter.  You don’t have to do video, you can outsource videos or you cannot add videos.  Lots of blog makes money without videos. Lots of blogs also make money with pen names. They are like ‘hey, I have a nickname for myself, I use some other names or I don’t even put my name”.

Myth 6- Blogging is technical

A lot of people think blogging Is a big technical nightmare. They’re like,  ” I don’t know how to set it up, I don’t know how to do plugins, I don’t even know how to get web hosting, I don’t even know how to do anything. How do I do this Marcus,  I mean the tech stuff is daunting. Here is the cool thing: the tech stuff is extremely easy with blogging.  I had a harder time posting things and uploading things to Facebook than I do blogging.  It’s literally easier than doing stuff on Facebook. You just go in, type what you want to type. If you want it red, then you highlight it red.

If you want to upload an image, you drag and drop into the box. It’s like, literally nothing. Tech is just 5% because when this is set up, you can just go in there and focus on what you need to do make it work.  And it’s really not that hard. And the plugins that we give you with my courses all do these stuffs for you.  I made it in a way that’s super easy.  I made them like point and click. So blogging is not technical at all.

Question

The main challenge is the time that it takes to rank s site as you need to build authority for your site and the cost of developing content unless you want to write it yourself.

Answer

This student brings up a couple of myth.  Number one- it takes time to rank. It only takes time to rank if you’re going for difficult keywords. This is why people do this.

If you’re having trouble ranking your site, you’re going for the wrong keyword.  Plain and simple. That’s it.  So what I’m talking about here is deliberately going to do what works. Instead of trying to rank for how to barbeque, why don’t you rank for brisket cooking times? I guarantee that you can rank for that one pretty quick.  If not, some subcategories of it.

Another myth is the authority niche

You can actually rank sites that are brand new. I do it all the time.  A lot of our high ticket niche rank right away in the brand new site. Here is the deal: when you build this blog post and you major on the keywords, you’ll do good and you’ll start to get the bigger keyword.  Because what we’re talking about here is getting some kind of result now. Because I’m impatient and I know a lot of people are impatient. A lot of people have their shinning object syndrome where they’re out there and they’re like “well, Marcus I set up a blog, the thing didn’t talk and I’m going to go and learn facebook ads. You know what my Facebook ads didn’t work,  I spent 5 bucks, I’m going to and do email marketing’. Have you ever found yourself in the scenario of giving up because you’re not getting something fast?

So what we want to do is we want to scratch the fast itch. We want to take the fast itch and be like, can I get a ranking.  When you see your site at the top of the keyword even if I get like 19 visitors a day, you’re going to be like, “there I am at the top”. And when you see your first $10.20, 50, then that’s great. The key is no-one does this stuff long enough. Right, no one does this thing long enough to build any kind of recurrent or build any kind of stuff. I almost gave up on blogging. I felt like it was a pain in the bud.  But I’m so glad I didn’t because I’ve made a lot.

Myth 7- I have to be a good writer.

If you have read anything that I’ve written, you know you don’t have to be a good writer.  I write at the 5th-grade level, probably less than that so you don’t have to be a good writer. You just have to be good at solving a problem. We’ve got to look at that because every person who comes into your website has intent.

Every keyword someone types in Google has an intent. So look at it and say, “what is the intent? ” why did someone look up brisket cooking times? Well because they don’t want to dry up their brisket.  They don’t want to come out undercooked, overcooked or weird. Do they want to buy a barbeque,?  Probably not! Do they want to learn how to get cheap brisket? Probably not.  What do they want? They want a printable or easy to read guide to how to cook the brisket and brisket cooking times.  So how can I embed an affiliate offer in that while giving them the info? All we have to do is a focus.

Myth 8- I need a huge following

A lot of people look at this and they’re like, “well, the only people that do well with blogging have a big following or they already have a big mailing list.” Here is the deal: Everyone started where you at. Everyone woke up one morning and say, ‘I want to make money on the internet” and they went out there and set up a site and they try things out. Everyone else started from the bottom. So if you have nothing, if you’re sitting there saying, “I don’t have a blog, I don’t have a following, no one cares who I am, I have nothing”, you’re going to start from somewhere.

Now a lot of people think that the game is rigged and that things are weird. Well, the game is different to what it was back in 1997 when Google wasn’t even around but it has actually gotten easier in a lot of ways. Because, if you knew what you needed to know back then, you’ll probably be rich back then. But not. Now it’s time to jump in and say, “I’m going to do this the right way”.

Myth 9- I need to find sponsors

A lot of people looks at this, a lot of YouTube communities’ looks at this, a lot of blogging communities looks at this and they say, “Well, do I need sponsors?” Do I need to find some kind of people that come to my blog and pay me to blog? You can do that, but what I found is that the amount you get from that is very little. Because here is the deal: if someone is willing to buy an ad on your site, they are making more than you are. Plain and simple. If I’m willing to buy an ad on your site, that means I can make more money than you. So the fact of the matter is that you need to learn what they are doing and learn how to make money out of the stuff. Now what we do is blogging through affiliate marketing. We can get paid through different ways. We can get paid for someone to call our phone number; we can get paid for someone to click our link. We can get paid for someone to fill out a form. We can get paid for someone to download something, someone to try a product, someone to buy a product.

So we don’t have to focus on sponsors, we just have t focus on doing the affiliate stuff the right way. Because here is the thing: if you know about your traffic and you know what they want (which you do because it’s going to be your blog) then the sky is the limit. And you have to remember this one fact: who is in control of your income on the internet? Is it Google? Is it the affiliate network? Is it the pay per click traffic? Who is in control of it? Who is deciding how much you’re making right now? The answer is me! Yes, you are in charge. You are the reason that it’s not working. You’re the reason you’re not making what you want to make. It’s all on you.  Sure I can teach you stuffs but you have to do the stuffs. A very small percentage of people do the stuff. And those who don’t do the stuff like to complain. But if you actually do these stuffs and do them deliberately, and you do it daily or every week, or something consistent, it’s going to work really well.

You don’t make money by finding ways to make money. You only learn by finding ways to make money. But they make money by implementing what they learn and doing what they need to do in a deliberate way.

A lot of people think that it’s some outside force that’s stopping them or it’s the guru that isn’t teaching them enough, or because the search engine just don’t rank their site or the algorithm is not fair. Well, the algorithm is fair if you learn how to use it to your advantage. You might not get the big one right away. There is a guy up there who probably ranks number one for a keyword like, “mortgages “and he probably makes millions of dollars a year off the word. Are you going to beat him? Probably not! But can I set something up for a subcategory keyword and start to get traffic right now? Yes. Here is the deal: everyone looks at the business models that are huge. They look at Amazon as huge. Here is the deal: Amazon is making an insane amount of money. And if you get like 0.015 of Amazon’s income, you’ll probably be able to retire. This is why people that are seller on Amazon make money.

Because they’re getting a small piece of the part. Because you can’t sell everything Amazon sell, or rank for every keyword that you want to rank for but you can probably sell a couple of things which is not that big. I know a guy who was making six figures a month out of selling a oil diffuser. The fact is that there is a whole lot of money out there, all you need is a fraction. If you want to make a million dollar, find out a way to make $3,000 and do it 300 times.

Myth 10- All the good niches are taken

All the good niches are not taken. You can take someone over. Here is the deal: It doesn’t matter what other people make, what matters is what do you want. There are plenty of marketers that makes 10 times, 50 times, even 100 times of what I make. And I don’t care because I stay home, I enjoy the pool with the kids and I live a good life. That’s what I wanted, that’s how I set it up. Now you might want to go and conquer the world, make 50 million dollars, and that’s cool. Personally, I like the way that I have it set up. You’ve got to look at it and say “what do you want?” And you look at it like, “100,000 is really nothing in the grand scheme of things on the internet”. People make that in a month with web hosting offers and simple little offers. Again, results are not typical, implied or guaranteed. You probably make nothing but we’re going to look at it deliberately.

Myth 11- SEO is hard

SEO is hard if you’re going for the wrong keyword. If you go for the right keyword, then it’s going to be a lot easier.

Myth 12- I need lots of backlinks

You don’t need lots of backlinks. Backlinks are a myth. What we want to do if we want to start to build is links from bing. I can do better by getting a yahoo directory listing then paying someone to put a million backlinks out there for me.

You’re dealing with 4 million people every 60 seconds searching Google. Some of them search for “make money”, some of them search for “blog”, some of them search for “lose weight”, but there is also a big portion of words people haven’t even thought of.

Myth 13- It takes a long time to start

And that’s a big myth because it doesn’t. You can literally start your blog in 15 minutes. And you can start to work it, make it, and do what you need to do, which is grow, rank and deliberately target the people you want.

You can even go and get Facebook people to link back to you and get lots of traffic. I just did a Facebook promo last month where we got like 1500 new leads, made like 25 grand, really easy. Didn’t cost me a dime.

I think SEO takes time for your site to rank?

Not necessarily, if you’re going for a big keyword, yes. If you’re going for a small keyword, no!

That’s what we want to do., We want to go for all the small keywords we can get in our niche. And eventually, we’ll get the big one.

So now let’s go through some action steps to make money blogging. What are the action steps? We talked about the myth. Now, what can I do to start getting results?

Action step one- Choose a niche with good potential

What I mean by this is that some niches are what we call one-off. A one-off would be a keyword that doesn’t have a lot of sub-category keyword. We want one with a lot of sub-category keyword. Very important. So we’ve got to find a niche that has a potential, traffic, and the sub keyword we can use.

Action step two- Brainstorm all the possible affiliate offers

If I’m going for something, like a niche about “watch TV shows”, then what can I do? I can start to rank for all the shows that people want to watch and how to watch them. You can get out there and rank for all these things and there is a lot of potentials. Now what you want to do is you want to brainstorm, “what can I do”. Well, I can do “TV on PC- watch TV on your computer”, I can do direct TV or satellite, I can do Netflix, I can do cable TV leads, and maybe I can even get them to buy a smart TV.

You just have to go out there and brainstorm the affiliate offers that are good for your niche. And when you build your keyword based content, you build it with this in mind.

Action step three- Get a good domain for your niche

You want to get a good domain for your niche. For example, if I’m going for “watch TV shows”, I can do like, “how to watch TV shows online”. That’s something easy to remember. And it’s something that has my keyword in it.

Action step four- Research all the possible keywords

You’re going to research your offers, make sure it works, buy your domain, then you’re going to go through and be like, “what are the top keywords that I can go for?’ Are they watching for episodes 2 seasons 1? What are they looking for, I want to rank for them all.

Action step 5- Set up blogs according to top word

That’s a great idea. So go do that too.

Action step 6- make content for each specific keyword and drive to offers

You’re going to go out there and be like, “okay, watch strange things, season one episode 2”, then you put up your content that shows them how to watch it, then you rank.

Now be careful of trademark terms. The way that I understand trademark terms is that they don’t want you to build on something. If you’re out there building on coke, but you’re the Pepsi owner, that’s a trademark violation.

Step no 7- consistency

How to Use Kartra With WordPress + Bonus and Tutorial — affiliatemarketingmc at YouTube.com.

Kartra is a really cool software that puts you in charge of everything. Today we’ll talk about how to integrate your WordPress blog with the Kartra software.

 

What Does Kartra Do?

It allows you to:

• Build a mailing list
• Follow up with your mailing list
• See stats and analytics (that no other software has)
• Find out who’s responding and who’s not responding
• Put people in different groups and categories
• Sell stuff
• Set up membership sites
• Have videos

Kartra not only is a shopping cart with click funnels and everything, but it actually has the HTML embed codes so you can put everything directly on your site, exactly how you want it.

Now for me, as a WordPress site owner, this is a dream come true, because now I can control everything. I’ve been doing this since about 2009 with WordPress, and I’ve been doing affiliate marketing since about 1999, and this is the biggest thing I’ve ever seen.

Before now, I’ve had to do all this stuff by hand, which means since 2009 I’ve had to code everything myself, or have a programmer, get different codes from different autoresponders, have codes from different shopping carts, have buttons on different servers, etc. It’s been a mess. And what Kartra allows me to do is have everything in one spot, paste it into my WordPress, and I’m ready to go.

What if you want to have different forms on different pages?

You can see here I have my Kartra opt-in form right here on the main page.

 

 

But if we go over to the hub site page, you’ll notice there is no opt-in form here.

 

 

So let’s say that I want to add a different opt-in form here. I would go to Kartra, go to the My Forms page, click on the form that I want, and I can go get the code.

 

 

 

I want to use this fancy little website one here. I click “Get code – JavaScript” and copy the code.

 

 

Then I go into my website and find the Squeeze Blogs Pro plugin. I add a new widget inside the plugin.

 

 

If I like, I can put some teaser text inside the Contents section to get visitors to opt-in, or I can leave it blank if I just want to use what’s on the form.

 

 

Under Contents, it asks me if I’m using Aweber. I select “No” and paste the code into the text box.

 

 

Then I can choose the page where I want the form to be displayed. I do that by finding the Pages section and entering the page I want to use.

 

 

I scroll down and hit the “Update” button.

 

 

Now I have an opt-in right there, and it’s a separate one from what’s on my main page.

 

 

 

Order Forms

Maybe instead of an opt-in form, you want to allow someone to order something directly on your site. So on Kartra, go to the My Products page, and select the product that you want visitors to order.

Let’s say you want people to order the Squeeze Blogs Pro plugin. This will give you the code to display the order form on your page.

 

 

 

 

 

Then you copy the code and paste it into your own Squeeze Blogs Pro plugin on your website.

If you don’t want to embed it into a post, you can display it as a widget on the side of the page. Go to the Sales icon on your Squeeze Blogs Pro plugin.

 

 

In the Pages section, select the page where you want the form to be displayed. Then paste the code in the Contents section and hit “Update”.

 

 

Now you have an order button, and people can order the product right on your blog.

 

 

 

Order Form Button Pop-Up

Instead of displaying the order form itself, you might want to just have a button that leads to a pop-up order form.

Back on Kartra, go again to the My Products page, and select the product that you want visitors to order. We’ll still use the Squeeze Blogs Pro example.

 

 

Now hover your cursor over “Edit”. Click on “Edit product”.

 

 

A pop-up will display confirming that you selected this product. Click “Next”.

 

 

On the next page, you will move through the Basic Info, Pricing, and Contents sections. Keep verifying the information and clicking on “Save and next” until you arrive at the Checkout section.

 

 

 

 

Then you’ll arrive at the Checkout section. Under “Your checkout page look & feel”, click the “Change” button next to it.

 

 

You can choose how you want the form to show up. Select “Overlay pop up window on your site”. Select “Confirm” on the top right corner of the box, and select “Save and next” at the bottom of the page.

 

 

Keep verifying the rest of the information, clicking on “Save and next” at the bottom until you get to the end.

 

 

 

 

Now the product has been reconfigured to display as a pop-up window. You just need to get the new code to paste onto your site.

Go to the My Products page and select the product you want to display (The Squeeze Blogs Pro plugin).

 

 

Click on “Checkout”.

 

Copy the new checkout code for the pop-up button.

 

 

Paste the code into your Squeeze Blogs Pro plugin, just as you did before.

In your Squeeze Blogs Pro plugin, you can decide which pages or which posts you’d like the button to be displayed on.

 

 

Here you can see the new button on the sidebar of one of my site pages.

 

 

When someone clicks on the button, a secure window pops up for the customer to purchase the product.

Have you heard the difference between an authority site and the simple site? I know a lot of people come here and are attracted to my type of teaching because I teach things very simple. A lot of people are like, “Marcus, you’re kind of simple”, well, that’s just how my brain works. I keep things simple; I like them easy and simple to understand. And I like them to be easy to go through.

You might have heard me talk about, “hey, you know what? Set up a simple one to five page website and you can make money online”, Here is a disclaimer on that: By reading my article, watching my videos, training, webinars, buying my courses and anything that you get from me, there is no guarantee of success. We all know that the average affiliate marketer makes absolutely nothing. But we also know that there are some affiliate marketers over there that do earn a living online (Me being one of them). I’ve been doing this for about 18 to 19 years making a full time living from the comfort of my own home doing exactly what I’m going to show you.

It is very important that you understand up front that what we’ll be teaching you is not guaranteed. Nothing is guaranteed in life but I believe if you follow the instructions, if you follow the steps, you can get results and build on it.

What Is The Best Way To Start?

Is it to go out there, find a niche, put up a little site and let it do its thing like I’ve done many times( like the one-page website that I did that made over 7 figures online)-  Is that the best way to go? Or is authority sites the best way to go? (Where you go there and find your niche, build a big site, start to capture all the traffic, really solve that niche and you start to build.

Well, I’ve got to tell you that the answer is neither. A lot of people talk about the simple site, lots of people talks about authority sites, which one is best? The answer is that neither is best. What is best is to test your market. What we want to do is we want to test the market. This is why i like simple site. What I like to do is I like to set up simple 3 to 5 page blog, set it up, get some traffic, test it out. When we test that out, we try to see what’s going. For example, let’s say I want to go into a niche- like promote something like clickfunnles or katra. And I go I there, and I’m like, “okay, I found this niche about people who want to set up a blog”. Now, I can set up a simple little 5 pages (you can probably put this up in a matter of a day if you wanted to and follow instructions).

What you’re going to notice is that when you test your market, you’re going to send traffic to your simple site. If I want to go and say, “Well you know, today I’ve got 100 people to my site and those 100 people want to learn how to set up a blog” They went to my site and get my stuffs. (Again, results are not typical, implied or guaranteed. We don’t know what you’re going to get that’s why we need to test the market.)

So we go out there. We test the market; we take a look at it and check what happened. If I go here and I’m like, “hey, you know what? I’m buying traffic or I’m getting traffic free and perhaps I made $90 that day”.

Now I will look at that traffic and I analyse it and say, “Is this something I can build on? Can I do more with this?”  Years ago when I first started the site, about abs workout (which obviously I don’t take my own advise), I built it and within couple of weeks, we were making $120-$160 a day. Sold about 3-4 products a day on that site. When I looked at that, I said, “is this something I want to build more?’. The problem with sticking with simple site method is the fact that you’re not really growing and you’re only volatile. If someone comes in and out beats you or someone comes in and the offer changes (or whatever), you’re kind of left out to dry. For example, the site that makes 7 figures, that offer is no longer around anymore. I didn’t build a big authority site in that niche. Therefore, back then, I made a lot of money, and now I have nothing. So, we’ve got to look at that and say, “how is it going to work?”. Now what we want to do is we want to take a look at the simple site that shows promise. Is it something that shows promise, can I get a sale, can I get interest, can I build a list and can I do something with this traffic? Now, when I set that up and it looks good and promising, then I switch over to an authority site. The only two reasons that you want to make an authority site is:

1. You know the market- You’re like, “okay, I know this will work, If I go into web host training I know it’d work, if I go into how to build a blog or WordPress training, I know that’s going to work”, All I have to do is to do the work, take the time to build it up and I have an authority site”. Once you have an authority site, what will happen is that your traffic is going to grow, you’ll have extra content, you’re going to build a mailing list and people are going to come back to you.

So the idea here is to start with the simple affiliate site. Start it out, get it out there, get some traffic, and see what’s going on. Does it look promising? If it looks promising, then we go into our authority site. Now what we’re going to do in the rest of this training is I’m going to go through the steps that you want to take to take your site from small to an authority site.

Now when we’re talking of authority sites, you’re not going to be the authority site for an affiliate, make money. You’re not going to be the authority site for lose weight or mortgage. You’re going to be the authority site in some kind of sub-category of your market. So get it out of your mind that you’re going to be the huge authority on whatever you’re promoting. And get it in your mind that you want to do what I call, “Majoring the minor and start to build slowly based on things you can get”

Now, personally for me, I’m a very impatient person and I like results fast. I like to get results super-fast; I like to see what’s going on. I want to see sales coming in, I want to see people coming in. I want to get something in return in a fast way. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to look at that and say, “Okay, well, if I was to go for barbeque niche, I’m going to take a look at this niche and say, “what can I do?”.

First and foremost, you want to look at your subcategory words because you’re probably not going to be ranked for the word, “barbeque”. But you can build an authority site on something like “smoking time brisket”.

So now we have defined it . Now “brisket smoking times” gets a lot of searches online ( I think the last time I looked it up, it was like 40, 000 searches a month). Now what I’ll do is I’d set up a site that gets something like “brisket smoking time, or brisket. com).

Next thing that I’d want to do is I’d want to find my affiliate offer (how am I going to get paid), Now we’re going to look at this and say, “what am I going to do? Chances are these people probably already had a smoker. Now you can sell them a better smoker but that’s a stretch. Now we’ve got to remember the intent of our market. The intent of the market is the dude is got a brisket in his fridge and he’s like “I want to smoke it and I want it to be good”. Now just to clarify, we’re talking about smoking in the barbeque brisket. So we’re like okay, “brisket smoking time”, we’ve got the affiliate. So what are we going to? Is there any toolbar? We’re going to look at all different affiliate offers for barbeque for cooking different stuffs like that.

Now one of the things you can look out for your niche (for example in the barbeque) is Adsense. Because a lot of companies run ads run ads and they pay for ads using the Adsense program where you can get paid. So we do Adsense as well. So what I’d do is I’d make a list of those that say, “Brisket smoking time”, and set up my page. May I’d make a little video. Now you can outsource this if you want (it doesn’t matter). Now you make your videos and you’re like, “hey, cool, check it out, ’I’ve got a perfect brisket. Now if you want to know the times that I cooked this, it varies depending on the size of the brisket, what the weather is like outside, what the smokers are, and everything like that, e.t.c

What I’ve done is that I went through and put you together in a PDF download report. You can download it, and I bet you if you follow the instructions, everything is going to go well.  All you’ve got to do to get that is to put name and email in the box. I’m also going to send you some barbeque stuffs for joining my list, and then you’re going to go.

What I’d first do is to test it out on page traffic.

What I’d do is that I’ll test this out. How many cards. Why? Because I want to control the experience. When I do paid traffic, I can isolate the exact keyword that I want

I can bring them to the exact page that I want and I can now monitor and say, well, out of 100 people who came to my site, 47 joined my mailing lists.

Now if this looks promising ( if I do this and I get 47 opt-in, or if I do 300 clicks and I get 150 opt-ins), then I can go in and say,  “okay cool, how much did I make?”

. Well, I gave away 50 toolbars, and that made me $3 each and that’s $150. Again, results are not typical, implied or Guaranteed ( read the disclaimer if you have any questions about this) . So here we  go, we’re like “okay cool, I’ve got 150 on my list, 50 to download and maybe one of them bought the barbeque tools and I made $60 or something like that. Now once I look at this and go through, I’m like, “okay, cool this looks good, this looks promising”. Once it looks promising, I keep it running on pay per click. Why wouldn’t you keep something running that’s making money? Then what I do is I go over here and start to build out an authority site.

 Now with my authority site, what I’m going to do is I’m going to go for free traffic. I’m going to go for Youtube group,  Facebook groups. I’m going to go for all kind of different things, I’m going to make PDF and be helpful to the market. Okay, the goal here is to be helpful to the market but be helpful in a way that drives them to things that they want to get. Like you guys read my articles and you’re like,  “Marcus your articles are great, I learn a lot, wonderful! And you’re going to take a look and be like, “well, I’m going to check out this new Marcus mentor me program he’s got over at Marcusmentor.me, I’d check that out because his stuffs helps me and I want to buy it” So you’re going to do the same thing.  You’re going to be like, “okay, the brisket guy helped me out so I’m going to want to buy the things that he recommends”. It is called influential marketing or content-based marketing.

How many clicks is enough or promising in testing the 300 clicks?  

Okay,  what you’ll want to do is well,  if I got 2 people to opt-in, no,  that’s not good! And if I got 150 people to opt-in and no one bought anything or download anything, then I’m going to revamp and say, why?

If you get the numbers and you’re like “okay,  I’m getting 10% or 30% to fill out the email form to opt in,” that’d be great,  that would be wonderful. And again, it depends on the niche. Obviously with web hosting it’s going to take a while to get a sale.  By a while, I mean like 100 clicks to get a sale in most market.

How much should 300 clicks cost in Adword to be profitable?

Good question!  And the simple answer is well; it should be less than what you’re making. A lot of people come to me and they’re like “Marcus, I don’t want to pay a dollar a click”, and I’m like “well, personally I can pay a thousand dollar per click if I know I can make $2,000”. It doesn’t matter, it’s all relative.  So you got to look at that. Now in the barbeque market, I’ll be expecting to get clicks from anywhere from 3 to 20 cents a click. That will be the sweet part there. That would be a little high for that market but if I had good converter then it’d work.

Now for this example,  if I’m making $150 +$60 on that,  then I’d want to be 220 is my initial upfront income then I’d want to be less than that and that would be 22 cents per click divided by 3. And that would be around 7 cents. Again, that’s not a guarantee that you’ll make anything. You have to test this out.  You have to be willing to go out there and do this. Now once you look at that, you’re like “okay this is great “. Here are the things that you want to do to build out your authority site. So what I’m going to do is that at the end, you can check out Marcusmentor.me program, get our course at the marcusmentor.me. It’s a simple course that I put together for people who are like,  “I like your stuff but I wish to get something where you can help me out”. Now what we’re going to do is we’re actually going to make a video on each of these topics. So there are 31 different videos on money task. We’re going to take you from a simple site to an authority site and if you do this and you tweak it and you test it, you’re going to get some results. By results, I don’t know if you’d make money, you might not.  But you might at least see what the market is doing, see what people click on and see what people do. And that’s the starting point of making this work. Let’s go over those now.

And again, if you want to ask exactly how to do them, how I do them every day in my business, you’re free.  Obviously the reason why there are 31 is that it has something to do everyday. So if you could do something every day for 15-20 minutes even half hour every day, you can start to build on this and grow big.  So let’s take a look at some of these tasks that would take us from the simple affiliate site over to the arms of the authority site.

1. Set up a new blog

Okay, so if I have this on pay per click and its working and it’s running and I’m happy and great.  I can even use the same domain on free traffic or I can use the separate. For me personally I like to separate them because if you want to be an authority site,  you’d want multiple domains in your niche(maybe one for free traffic, one for paid traffic, one for YouTube). So the first thing you can do is to set up a new blog, make it simple and go for something like brisket cooking times.

2. Create content

The second thing you can do is to create content. So if you’re sitting there and you’re like ‘Marcus, what do I do? “.because a lot of people come to me and be like “Marcus,  I want to make money online “. And their life looks like all I do is to learn how to make money online”. If all you’re doing is studying how to make money and you’re studying affiliate marketing, that’s not just how to do it.  

If I get a book about how to exercise or about how to get 6 packs abs and how to work out but I never go to the gym,  and I never do anything else other than reading the book, then I’m not going to get any result I want. So what we’re going to do is to move from the realm of theory and ideas and wants into the real me if actually taking actions. Now one of the actions that you can take (which we’ve talked about)  is setting up a new blog.

The second one is content for your blog. What you’d do is look at your sub-category keywords and like,  “what’s up? What kind of content can I make”. For example, maybe people are looking for, “brisket smoking times 5 pounds or brisket smoking times for barbeque,  or whatever”. You’re going to look at your subcategory words, see what’s out there before you start to make your content for your blog, and you will base the content on what they are looking for. And again, make good content and go in and start to add your affiliate stuff.  So I’ll make content and I’ll be like, “well, you want to get your brisket up to 85 degrees? You’ll probably want a thermometer. Here is the thermometer and by the way when your brisket is done, you might want to use a Robb or seasoning “. And I got the Robb and seasoning from recipe toolbar.

Do you recommend using free content for your content?

Well, I don’t know what you mean by free content. You mean, taking from other places?  If that’s the case I always say no. I recommend creating your own content. The reason is that the search engine like it,  people are going to like it. Or when you create your own content or outsource it the way that I show you, you can lead people into what you want them to buy it click or do in an easier way.  If you’re using content, it’s not going to be that good.

3. Write an email to a list

The third thing we can do every day to start to build this up is we can go through and we can write an email to our list. And again, you want to look at your mailing list like you’re the helpful guy . So if you join my mailing list about “how to cook brisket’. Now I’m posed as the guy who wants to help you cook brisket. It’s like a simple agreement. You’re like, “okay,  you came to my site, therefore I probably know more than you about brisket. Therefore you’re going to watch for my emails about the cooking and you’re going to go in and be like, “Maybe I can go in and write an email to this people”. And again, your email needs to be something helpful. A lot of people go out there and all they do is that they email affiliate offer. That’s fine and it makes money but It eliminate your list and you’re not going to make as much.

The reason why you’re not going to make as much is that when you guys see emails from me,  you’re looking for content. If I just hit you with an email asking you to sign up for this and that, you’re going to think “Marcus is not as helpful as I thought, maybe I’ll unsubscribe”. Writing an email is easy, you sit down and you’re like “hey,  I found a cool way to make a brisket”.

So your email is going to drive them back to your authority blog or your authority site. It’s like recycling traffic which is really cool.

4. Make a simple infographic

The fourth thing that you can do is make a simple infographic. If I have a infographic and I’m like “okay, all I’ve got to do is go to clip art and get some images that I have the right to use, make a little image, talk about the graphics and I have a link back to my site. Now I got content, I got email, I got infographic and I can even send the infographic out to my mailing list. I’ll be like “hey I can make this infographic that you can print out”

5. Find Top 10 sub-category

Another thing that you can do is find top 10 subcategories. So you’ll go into Google Adwords tool, you type in brisket, you look at what the subcategory words are.  Once you start to build this up, what’s going to happen is that your site is going to be in authority and you’re going to rank really fast. And again, let me ask you, how hard is this really? Does anyone think this is ridiculously hard to do? You can just go ahead and learn about the brisket stuff. Go to the store, buy 3 to 4 brisket.  Cook them in different ways, feed your neighbors.

Tech stuff is my downfall!

Well, I’m going to tell you, if you struggle with tech stuffs; go up to marcusmentor.me and get the course (they teach you the tech, you get the plugins). Follow my steps, which is extremely easy.

How do you test your site on Adword with your affiliate link because Google doesn’t like Affiliate sites, do we use other traffic sources?

Google doesn’t mind affiliate sites if you providing value. What Google and the other search engine want is a good user experience. So if you’re building on the word, “Brisket cooking times”, and you’re trying to sell them a new barbeque, that’s not good. They’re like “dude, I want to learn the cooking times, I don’t want a barbeque”. If you have a site about the cooking times and you teach people stuffs, they are going to like that. So always focus on the intent, focus on what the market wants, and focus on the delivery.

If you’re sitting there waiting for perfection, you’re not going to get anything done. But if you get something done, follow the rules, don’t be shady, don’t be weird, and don’t mess with people, if you do it ethical then if you mess up its okay. You miss 100% of the shot you don’t take, that’s the quote by one of the greatest hockey guy of all time.

He’s like, “go make the shot if you don’t make the shot you’re not going to get anything.” Again, not everything is going to work. Some of the videos that I put up, they flop. some of the videos that I put up they kick butt. Like the one I did last year that is over 130k views which is small but to me, I can make a lot out of that.

What does it take to get approved by Google Adword?

A good website and legitimate information it’s actually pretty easy.

 

6. Create a new blog post

You go out there and you’re like, ‘I made the content for my blog now I’m going to make a blog post”. Again, you put your blog post about the keywords that you found.

7. Make a new video

Video freaks a lot of people out. However, there are people out there that are outsourcing videos that do really well. So if you need to do that, outsource it. I mean your content that you wrote for your blog, send it to someone you’re outsourcing to. You say, “Read this, and give me the audio”. It won’t cost you more than $5, maybe $30 if it’s long. They read the article on audio, they send you the audio file, and you just put some slides to it. You can even just put the audio on the screen.

8. Make an audio

Depending on your niche- If your niche warrants an audio like in the personal development space, audios are going to work great. You can literarily make audios of quotes that people had. I know a guy who is a YouTuber and all he does is to us other peoples content. And he’s goes like millions of subscribers, make a lot of money. All he did was “Hey, here is the top 10 things that Tony Robin says”., So you can do an Audio and post it on Podcast sites.

9. Make a list of downloads

Think about this: If you’re in a market like home renovation. You can go and find renovation articles, links to the PDF and make a list. You’ll be like, “here is a link to the PDFs”. That’s a value because it is something that is helping someone do something easier. We forget that value can be something simple. We forget that Google’s value is the fact that they link you to pages that you want.

They didn’t make the content; they just index the content in a way that works. And boom! One of the biggest companies in the world because of that. Facebook, they are using your content like you write contents for Facebook. You go on, and you’re like, “My dog went swimming in the pool today, here is the picture”. You just made Facebook content. They are getting traffic because of you. You can do downloads or helpful site. Like there is a guy here who said, ‘where do you go to get outsources?”. That guy who answered his question could make a list of sites to go outsource on and he can use his affiliate links. And now he’s got a piece of valuable content he can put on his site, he can make a PDF; he can make an infographic.  

10. You can make a step by step list

This is like you want to make a blog: step 1, step 2, and step 3. Put your steps and show them how to do whatever it is they are searching for. And you can do this on all types of keywords like, “steps to making the perfect chicken, or even steps to setting up your barbeque the right way”. I want you to image what your site will look like if you just did one of this a day in 31 days. Instead o going out there looking for the fast way to make money, you can just go out there and say, “I just want to add value to the market every day in the form of a list, audio, video, whatever.

11. Buy a solo ad

You can go out there and find someone who has a mailing list about barbeque and you can buy an ad in their mailing list and can drive a bunch of traffic to you in literarily like, overnight.

12. Answer questions

You can go out there and you can answer people’s questions. You can be like,  ” hey I’ve got this site about brisket, do you have any questions? ” They put questions on the site, you answer it in the form of a blog post or a reply and you make sales and get more traffic. I have a forum where we go through and people ask questions, I provide answers,  they rank in the search engines, build me up as an authority site and gets traffic every single day.

13. Submit a press release

One of the ways that’s very easy to get the stuffs going and fast is you can do a press release. The purpose of a press release isn’t so much like get channel 9 news to pay attention to you; it’s to get big sites linked to you. So better than backlinking is press releasing. So we can set up a press release that goes like,  ” here is a site about barbeque and we’re going to teach you how to make brisket, Marcus has the greatest barbeque”.

14. Make an opt-in page

So let’s say you have your niche and you’re like, “well you know I know a lot of people are actually looking at brisket Robb so now I can make an opt-in page and say put your name and email to get my brisket Robb

15. F,Q,FB,INSTA Backlinks

A lot of people are going to talk to you about buying backlinks. You don’t do that, that’s just stupid and it can get you in hot water.  What you want to do instead is you want to build backlinks from things that are relevant. So I can go out and do backlinks on Facebook groups to get traffic.  I can go answer questions on Quora or I can go to different blogs only niche and I can answer questions on blogs. I can go on forums and answer questions. Literally it wouldn’t take you more than 15 minutes. People are likely to come to your site because they like your answer and you can make sales.

16. Interview someone

Let’s say there is a top dude in the brisket area and you write a mail like “hey I want to feature you on our site. Would you be willing to do an interview? Again, look at this as something you can do every day.

I want to give you actionable steps that you can use to build your site from a simple little blog to an affiliate big authority site.

17. Restructure your content

Can you take anything you’ve done so far and restructure it.  Can you take your interview and maybe make a video, podcast or an audio? Can you transcribe it and make a PDF? There’s lot of ways you can do this and I hope this isn’t hard.

 

18. Set up ads for your site

Ads would be like an affiliate ads.  What I use is my smart affiliate ads plugin. The smart affiliate ads plugin install on your blog, you put some images and boom, you got awesome looking ads where people click. Our clicks through rates are great with that.  You can also set up a new set of ads.

19. You can create Webinar notes

So like you can do a live stream or a Webinar and you can create little notes for it.  Again, this one is kind of advanced so if you haven’t done a Webinars before, don’t worry about it.  But a good way to connect with your market is to have a live stream.

20. Test your market

You can test with webinars. You can test with pay per click. Now you can test with pay per click on a new keyword. What if you have a site and you’re like “I want to get all the people that want to buy hosting or clickfunnels or katra”, I can go test a new keyword.

21. Make an excel calculator

Like the home improvement niche, you can do a home improvement loan calculator on excel.  People download this. They loved this stuff. I made a budget calculator on excel and it worked really well. For example, if you’re in the brisket market, you can do one to calculate your brisket cooking times.

22. Set up a simple forum

You can literally make a barbeque forum for a barbeque niche (if you’re in that one) and people will talk about one.

23. Make a member site

What if you have a member site on how to make a barbeque? Isn’t that a great idea

 

24. Write a letter

You can write a letter about barbeque. I’m the brisket guy and I’ve been trying to make perfect brisket and I keep running it.  What I figured out are this 5 things,…. “. So you write a letter, send it to your list and boom! I’ve made lots of money making sales letters to my markets.

25. Organise info

Does anyone notice that our whole job as an affiliate marketer is organizing information?  I mean, organize things that help people. I’m like, “okay, how do you make your background on your website different? “. I make a little theme, I compile the info and go learn how to do it and I compile the info and send to the things that I want to use to make money.

What if all you did was watch training videos on how to do things and you’re like “all I do is to organize the info”. Let’s say you’re in the marriage counseling niche. You go and watch different things, you learn what people want and you organize the info. You’ll be like “hey,  I studied the top 50 experts in the market and here is the top 3 things that they said to avoid divorce”. “I studied the top internet marketers and here is what they said that you need”. So all you need is to organize the info.

26. Run a banner ad

Running a banner ad does two things.  

1. I can get cheap traffic to my site and make sales. Great!
2. I can learn what my market wants to click on. What we want to do is we want to click this stuff and we want to learn our market all the way. So if you want to build the authority site, we are going to go through, learn about the market and what they clicked on.

We can go to other sites in our market and learn what they want.

 

Brief questions on what we’ve done so far

What exactly is a banner ad?

It’s an image ad on a website. We actually have a video on my channel about how to do banner ads. I would advise you to watch that.

Would you recommend starting straight off with an Aweber or wait till you know your site is getting the traffic?

It’s up to you.  If you want to build a list, then start off with that.

What if you set up your site before this videos and you didn’t get a neutral website domain?

You want a domain about a topic. So if I want one for brisket I’ll do one for brisket.

27. Find stuffs to share with your list

Maybe you found a good barbecue video, you can share with them.  Don’t link directly to it, link them to your blog and you can share that video. A lot of people don’t look at the simple things that they can do every day that makes a difference. If you do these simple things every day in a deliberate way, it’s going to start to build over time.

28. Find PDF for your market

You can go out there and find different PDFs and reports . What if I go out and I find out 10 PDF that can help you with something? I want you to look at this because a lot of these stuffs are native to the way that people react and respond. Like if I was your friend on Facebook and you’re like “Marcus is pretty cool because he always sends me videos on how to do the laundry”

29. Write a book chapter

You can actually take and compile all your stuffs into a book. You can take your blog post and turn them into a book.  It works really well.

30. Sell from a new angle

You can sell from a new angle. You can go out, listen to your market and find out what they want. You can find out different angles to sell something.  Perhaps you can sell a barbeque down the line because you’re building up the authority site.

31. Outsource content

Yes, that’d be a great idea.

How many simple sites should your authority site link to?

None! They should be one and the same.

Today we’re going to talk about the hottest most profitable affiliate niches that you can get into in 2018. These are niches that have tons of money attached to them. There are lots of people in these niches making lots of money right now. Let’s dive right in and talk about the hottest niches of 2018.

 

Web Hosting

The first top-most profitable niche is web hosting. This is a big niche that pays a lot of money. Companies will pay anywhere from a couple of bucks up to $300 or more when someone gets a dedicated server or shared web hosting account. This niche is really good, because people are building sites like crazy, and they don’t know how to do it. You can show them how to build sites, tell them to get web hosting, and you get paid.

I make about $50,000 a year just off of web hosting commissions alone, off of one little site
that I built on a webinar back in 2015. So, it’s pretty lucrative–I’m close to over $100,000 on that site, just off of one web hosting affiliate offer. So, it’s a really good niche.

 

Online Training Courses

The second most profitable niche of 2018 is online training courses. These are great because they cost very little for the person who develops them, and they make a lot of money. There are courses for literally everything—how to manage depression, or how to take care of your dog, or how to learn to fish, or whatever it may be. There are lots of sources out there (such as www.Lynda.com) that have training videos and courses, and you can be their affiliates and make lots of money when you sell their courses. Some courses sell for upwards of $100,000—imagine getting a commission on a $100,000 training course! It’s estimated that this is going to be a $100 billion-a-year-industry.

 

Finance

The finance industry is great, because there’s always money in it. Every day, people are getting
mortgages, buying houses, refinancing their homes, getting credit card loans, buying new cars, refinancing cars, dealing with budgets, dealing with spreadsheets, or just trying to manage their money. All you have to do is find one segment of the market, get really good at it, help people with it, and you’re off to the races. You can get anywhere from $40 to $100 per lead. You don’t even have to sell anything—you can get someone to fill out a form and get $100.

I have had sights in the gas prices niche where I sold credit cards, because people wanted to save money on gas, and the gas rewards credit cards made them able to do that. And I got paid like $100 every time they applied for a credit card.

 

Fiverr

Next, we have Fiverr. This is a really good one, because people want things done. They might want someone to make a logo, an article, a voiceover, a video, an image, backlinks, someone to do this or that. People always want someone to do something for them. Fiverr has an affiliate program which, last I heard, pays $100 when someone signs up for the site and bids on a job. This is also attached to outsourcing and things like that, which also has a lot of stuff involved in it, stuff that you can get into and make money really fast.

 

Software-As-A-Service

Here, companies spend millions of dollars to build the perfect software platform. These are software-as-a-service, which means they are monthly recurring services for customers. So, the cool thing about being affiliates for these companies is that you get commissions monthly. This is a great way to start building recurring income. And here’s a secret: you don’t want to go market these services under their product names; you want to go and find people who want the product, but don’t know they need it yet.

For example, I want to find people who want to put a mailing list on their blog. They want to put a little form that gets them into their mailing lists on their blog. I take them and I say, “Here’s how to do that. By the way, you’re going to need Aweber to be able to do that. Click here to sign up. I’m an affiliate, I get paid, which is why I’m going to help you out.” And if I send someone over to Aweber and they sign up, I get 30% commission for life.

I’ve built a recurring income of about $4,000-$5,000 a month within just a few days promoting one of these services. And that’s goingto go on as long as these people are customers. If I get more customers, that number builds and grows. I’m still getting paid every single month from people that bought back in 2010, back when I just started doing the monthly recurring stuff. And I still get paid over and over.

So there you have them. These are the top affiliate niches of 2018. They’re really hot niches where you can make a lot of money, and people are banking it huge, building up a recurring revenue with these streams of affiliate offers. But the key is pairing the right traffic method with the right affiliate offer. So how do you find the right affiliate offer for you?

Make Money with Affiliate Links on Youtube: Affiliate Marketing Tips for YouTubers — affiliatemarketingmc at YouTube.com

Today we’re talking about how to make a living with YouTube and affiliate marketing. Does it work? What are people doing right? We’ll show you how to turn your YouTube channel into a full-on business, so that you can get paid doing what you love to do—making videos.

 

Affiliate Marketing

First of all, what is affiliate marketing? Affiliate marketing is where a company has products and services to sell. They use affiliates to help them sell those products. They generate a custom link for each affiliate, and when the affiliates send people to that link, they get paid.  As an affiliate marketer, that’s exactly what I’ve been doing for the last 18 years from the comfort of my own home.

 

 

YouTube and Affiliate Marketing

When it comes to YouTube and affiliate marketing, things are a little bit different. They’re not as linear as search-based marketing. Most YouTubers don’t know what they’re doing when it comes to affiliate links. They’ll create a video, and in the video they’ll say something like “link in description”. Then down in the description they’ll have a bunch of words, and then they’ll have their raw affiliate link displayed.

If you’re a YouTuber, you don’t want to do it that way. There are two main reasons you don’t want to have raw affiliate links on your YouTube channel. First of all, you’re not building a brand. If viewers go to the link and they don’t buy, then they’re kind of lost in cyberspace. Maybe they’ll watch another video again. Maybe not. But either way, they’re lost.

Second, most raw affiliate links don’t have a disclaimer. If you are doing an affiliate marketing, you need to have a disclaimer. If a viewer is watching your video, they might think you’re just a kind person that wants to help out. They might not know that you get paid for sending people to your link and when they buy. If you don’t have a proper disclaimer, you can get into legal trouble.

 

Monetize with YouTube

If you’re a YouTuber, you might have an audience, and you might have views on YouTube, but you might not know how to monetize them. Or worse, maybe you’ve been demonetized. Well, there’s actually a better way than just relying on views.

 

 

Understand Your Audience

In my years of affiliate marketing, I’ve found that you can make more money by understanding your audience. You have to realize that every single view on YouTube is an actual person. Then, think outside the box and think about what your audience ultimately wants. Each person that interacts with your videos does so with a purpose, whether it’s for entertainment, education, etc. You have to get the intent out of them and understand what it is they want to do. Then you can drive them to the things that help them.

Own Your Own Website

The key here isn’t just to brand your audience, but to brand yourself as well. If you’re going to do YouTube and affiliate marketing, you need to have your own site. You also need to have your own domain name. You can learn how to do this in my video over at www.GoHubSite.com. It’ll take about 15 minutes to set up, costs about $6 a month, and you can have as many different sites on that hosting account as you want. Then you can do lots of affiliate marketing with YouTube and other stuff as well. Instead of giving people your long, ugly raw affiliate links, you can send people over to your website, where you’ll have your affiliate links.

 

Get Visitors On a Mailing List

When you send people over to your site, you can also have them put their name and email in an opt-in box. This is very important, because it builds you a mailing list. This is your audience—you did all the work to build it up on YouTube, so you might as well make the most of it.

Once you get them onto a mailing list, you can contact them and understand them and get to know them better. And you can send them different offers all the time. You might do this through standard affiliate programs, such as ClickBank or Amazon. Or, you might give them offers some other way.

 

CPA Marketing

CPA marketing is an alternative to affiliate marketing. This stands for cost-per-action or cost- per-acquisition. Instead of having to generate a sale, you can get paid on downloads, forms, clicks, phone calls, free trials, leads, and things like that. This is a lot more lucrative because it’s a lot easier of a barrier of entry. When you send your visitors these offers, they’re going to convert way higher than pay-per-sale offers.

 

Final Thoughts

So remember: When you’re doing affiliate marketing on YouTube, you want to say no to direct affiliate links, and say yes to creating your own site. You want to say no to shady tactics and yes to having disclaimers so that you are covered. You want to say yes to owning your site, building a list, and CPA marketing.

Make Money Online Today With Affiliate Marketing Full Tutorial On How To Get Started Right Now

Is it even possible to start affiliate marketing as a complete beginner today and be paid by the end of the day?

Today what I’m going to do is I’m going to show you the tips that you need to do if you want to make money fast. Yeah, we’re talking like you can make money by the end of the day (like my record in less than 13 minutes from the time I set up a new site.)  We actually got money in our affiliate account within 13 minutes. So this is something that can happen fast and something you can use and start getting results right now (I’m a big fan of getting results right now).

First of all, I’ve got a disclaimer on this because obviously by doing these steps you’re not guaranteed to make anything. There is a risk with affiliate marketing, most affiliate marketers end up making nothing but some of them actually do make money.  What I’m going to show you is based on what I’ve done.  So if you are up for a challenge and you realize that this video and notes are no way guaranteeing that you’re going to make anything, then I will urge you to follow through and check it out. Now there is a lot of other stuff that is involved in affiliate marketing which I also teach on my YouTube channel.

Now let’s go ahead and get started and show you how to make money fast on the internet.

So, maybe you’re like this guy here (fig. 1). You’re always chasing the dollar trying to find the next big thing that’s going to help you make money. But nothing is solid. Nothing is going to show you a real-world way that makes sense that you can start right now and see results literally right now. You feel like there is still a big invisible brick wall that’s stopping you from getting the money.  We’re going to show you how to get rid of that brick wall.  So grab your coffee, get ready because this is going to be a wild ride showing you how to profit

Now the first thing you need to remember and ask yourself when you say, “Can I make money right now on the internet?” is what is the barrier stopping you?. The barrier stopping most people is the fact that there are a lot of people on the internet right now. Right now as I’m preparing this note, over 4 million people every minute search Google. Lots of people are watching YouTube videos, people are in Forums and lots more.

People are visiting different websites.  People are on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram right now this minute.  So when they say,  there is no way to make money right now,  they are not understanding the fact that people right now are online.  And whenever there are people online you can make money.  All you have to do is get in front of them and show them something that’s relevant. Now we’re not talking about going out there and throwing them with crazy stuff.

What we’re talking about is finding a group of people with something that they want, need, desire or something they need a help on, and get some information because that’s what the internet is all about. People are out there right now and they are looking for something. For example, here you are reading my article right now along with many other people that are doing the same thing.  And you all want something in common-you all want to learn how to make money on the internet, fast.

So my goal is to show you and drive you to affiliate offers that make me money and possibly sell you some courses and things like that. Same thing with you and your market.  You’re going to go through; you’re going to find people who want to lose weight or people who want to learn about technology products or people that want coaching or whatever it is.  You’re going to find those people.  And that’s your group-you have to remember that those people are here right now (fig. 2). And they’re here right now looking at something.

Right now there are 100 of millions of people on Facebook. If I can get involved and understand where they are, and I can position the right thing in front of them, a sale can be made. Just like last week when I positioned myself in front of a Facebook people and made over $30,000 in sales out of a simple promotion that didn’t cost me anything to run.  So we’re going to show you how this works.  The idea here is to understand that these people are online and they are searching for something. Your goal is to carve out a little niche market. You’re going to say to yourself, “what do I want to go into and who do I want to help? ‘

Now you can go through and do it in two ways like: “what do I know about? What do I really understand or I’m an expert on?” Or you can go through and check my trigger words to see what people are searching for and interested in.  Now for the sake of making money fast, I’m going to teach a way that I usually don’t teach but I think it’d help you.

Find An Offer That Pays Money

Firstly, what we’re going to do is to find an offer that pays us money. So we’re going to go to Offervault and we’re going to look through the offers (fig. 3). For example, we can type in fitness and we can see there is “neutral system, help weight loss diet that has $165 commission and lots more”. There’s literally an offer for everything. And the cool thing about CPA marketing is that we can get paid for literally anything.  We can get paid when someone buys something,  download something, fills out a form, tries a product, clicks, link,  literally anything.

As you can see, I have the toolbar and you can see that we get paid when people download all this kind of toolbars and stuff like that. Maybe we’ll go for this one here which is like a Yoga thing (fig. 4). This is like, ‘get healthy with Yoga”. It’s like Yoga toolbar that they download that’s free for them and we get paid $2.06 cent when they download it. And if we want to take this a step further, we can even type Yoga poses into the Google Adwords keyword planner (fig. 5) and see that 301,000 every month type in Yoga Poses with most of it having a low competition. We’re going to show you how to get free traffic as well. Now we can see what the landing page of this yoga looks like (fig. 6).

As you can see, it’s not the greatest landing page, but hey, it’s got a toolbar, it’s free and it pays $2 and 6 cents. So if you want to make $100 a day. All you’ve got to do is to make 50 people download them and boom, there you go! You can literarily get results right now and get the money in your affiliate account.

All we have to do is to go through and say, “yay, I’m going to go for Yoga”. So now we know there are people out there looking for Yoga, we’ve got the toolbar that pays us.

Set Up A Generic Site

So now what I’m going to do is to set up a Generic site that I can use for lots of different affiliate offers and drive people to this. So now what we’re going to do is we’re going to use free traffic methods because all these people looking for Yoga stuffs are out there on Forums, Facebook groups, blogs, and all over the place looking for Yoga stuffs which are great. So we can get in front of them in a really easy way. Now the key to making this work whether you’re doing Yoga, weight loss, or mortgages is to provide something of value to the visitor.

For example, what would people value if they’re looking up Yoga stuffs and yoga lifestyle? Maybe Yoga poses, Yoga exercises, benefits of Yoga or anything else that’s going to help them.  If they are in Mortgages, maybe I can provide something on how to get approved on mortgages with bad credit. If they are in weight loss, maybe I can do review of the top weight loss program or something like that.

If they are looking for technical stuffs like how to set up a blog, maybe I can talk to them about how to set up a web hosting. The thing is you’re going to provide a kind of content that will draw them in. What kind of content will someone want if they’re looking for Yoga poses? Maybe like a printable Yoga poses guide. Now the key to making this work is to put in valuable content on a website and making that website so that you can send people to and get them to click on your affiliate link as well.

We’re going to do this in a really cool way. We always want to tell them that we’re an affiliate and we get compensated. And want to provide value upfront. We don’t want to direct link people to affiliate offers because it doesn’t have a disclaimer and that’s not a good practice and most places like Facebook and Google don’t really like that model.

Set Up A Simple Hub Site

The first step to making this work is setting up your simple hub site. This hubsite is something that you’re going to use with your niche. You can do one hubsite for a bunch of niches or you can do a bunch of hubsite for different niches. For the sake of this training, we’re going to get one based on a bunch of niches. And I’m going to get a domain that is generic that I can use on lots of stuffs, point people back to me and send them to my affiliate link. So let’s go ahead and dive in and get that started.

Before you get your hubsite the way that I teach you at gohubsite.com, what you want to do is to look at both the free version and the paid version. I realize that you might be on a budget and have nothing to spend. If that’s you, what you can do is to go over to something like, wordpress.org or Blogspot and set up a blog.

Now the downside to doing the freeway is you’re not going to get the domain name that you own. You’re not going to have the flexibility and you’re not going to have all the stuff that I had to make my blog and site run like a top running machine that’s going to get you paid. So there is going to be some barriers if you do it the free way. If you do it the way that I teach you, it’s going to cost you about $95 for the entire year.

They’re going to give you a domain name, Pay per click coupons so you can buy traffic for free, and stuffs like that. So it’s really good, and worthwhile at $95 a year. And you can use this to have as many sites as you want. You can have like a weight loss domain, Yoga domain, fitness domain and a lot of them. I run over a hundred different sites on one hosting account for $95 a year. That’s super cheap. The goal isn’t just to put money into it; it is to get money out.

So what we want to do is called a self-hosted WordPress blog. This is very easy to do and only cost about $6 a month to set up. They give you your first domain name for free (We’re going to show you how to set that up). The full instructions on how to do that are at Gohubsite.com. I’m an affiliate of this offer so when you sign up for this web hosting, I actually get a commission. This is what affiliate marketing is all about anyway.

First, we’re going to go ahead to Gohubsite,com and click the big Get started button. We’re going to see a page that looks like this (fig. 7). We’re going to click on Get started now. What this is going to take us to is a page where we can choose the free domain name (fig. 8). They’re going to give us a free domain name.

Over at gohubsite.com, I have a list of trigger words that you can use to get a domain. What we want to do for our free domain is to get something generic, small, and something we can use for everything.

You can see that we have a big list of words over at Gohubsite.com (fig. 9). This list of words is going to help you. Now if you already know what market you’re going into, you’d want to use keywords related to it. For example, if I was going into the weight loss market, I’d type something like weight loss and take something out of our list

 

( on Gohubsite), and do something like “weight loss question”. (Fig. 10). So get generic, let’s go for “faster guide.com”, and then proceed (fig. 11). So we’re going to go ahead and use this domain.

Next, I’m going to put my info as shown in the video: To make it inexpensive we’re going to go ahead and choose the 12-month price. Now, we can do our payment info, agree to the terms and conditions, click on the submit button and we should have our web hosting in a matter of seconds.

 

Can you see how quick it is?

As you can see, we have our web host set up for fasterguide.com (fig. 12). Next, we create our password

(fig. 13). Now once you’ve logged into your main hosting control panel, it’s going to look a lot like this (fig. 14).  So we’re going to go ahead and start editing:

We’re going to go ahead and login to the WordPress for fasterguide.com. As you can see it is automatically installed (fig. 15) on our domain (awesome). So we go ahead and login to WordPress dashboard.

First of all, we’re going to go to, <Settings>General>. (fig.16) what we’re going to do here is to change our site title and tagline. We don’t change anything else. Then you hit the <Save> button.

Next, we’re going to go to Reading and make sure that our homepage displays a static page (fig. 17), and just choose the sample page. We scroll down and hit <Save>

Next is the permalinks. On permalinks, what we’re going to do is t have it set as <Post name> (fig. 18).  Scroll down and also hit the <save> button. That’s all for the settings tab.

Next is the <appearance> where we’re going to upload a custom theme, so we click on Upload (fig. 19). What you’re going to do is to use the themes at fastprofitclass.com. This is the free theme I made for you to make this super easy to set up. Click on upload themes and follow the guide on the video.

So we’ll go over to our hosting control panel. Go to File manager>www>wpcontent>Themes>100BACKLOGOALL. Then go into the Images folder and replace page.png and logo.jpg. So you upload the files from the computer. Once that’s done, it’ll actually replace the files and turn them into your logo and your background, just like this (fig. 20).

Now, the reason e use this themes (even though it looks simple) is that they convert. So we want something simple that’s going to draw the user in and actually help make sales.

What we’re going to do next is to go back to our WordPress dashboard, then go to Theme options. What we’re going to do here is to edit the disclaimers, privacy, and all other stuffs. Once I’m done, I can go ahead and hit save.

Next, we’re going to go into our plugins(fig. 21). The most important plugins you’re going to want is the link plugin. So we’re going to hit Upload plugin. Again, this file is going to be downloadable over at fastprofitclass.com. So we’ll click, Upload>Choose file>afdlinks and install.

Now, what the Afdlnks plugins allow you to do is take an affiliate it and cloak it on your domain. So instead of going to some big URL, or some kind of bit.ly, we’re managing it one spot so that we control it, people will remember it and tracks it. So, once that’s installed, you’re going to see the affiliate marketing dude tracker. Then you can go into settings (fig. 22) and change your Url parter and follow the guide in the video. Now, all we’re going to do is start diving in and making content. What we’re going to remember is to ask who you’re making content for. Check out for examples of this in our video.

You can use my squeeze blog plugin which you can get at fastprofitclass.com (we charge for that though) or you can get it at our simple site course at simple site bonus.com. The way that you manage this is that you go over to you WordPress dashboard>Appearance> Widget and you notice that your sidebar is completely controlled by your widget (fig. 23).

Now, what I prefer to do is either a one-page site or use the squeeze blog pro plugin. What this plugin does is that it allows you to control everything on your sidebar. Now, this is for when you get more advanced.

Now once I have the site the way that I want it. If it’s something like this (fig. 24), then I’m ready to go. I can now take this page (fasterguide.com, go to a forum, help people out that are struggling with how to build a site. You can go in like YouTube support groups and teach them about different gear to buy. You can literarily go there and post your link to the best gear guide for YouTubers.If its mortgages, make a guide on mortgages and have a form to fill out and you can put your affiliate offers on anything.

Now if you want to start making money right now( once you have your page set up) is do Google search for whatever your site is, go to forums or go find facebook group or go find places where these people hang out. Be really helpful and link them to your site.

Now it’s very important that you focus on helping people for two reasons.

1. It’s cool, its goodwill and you’re going to get a lot more people to buy
2. You don’t want to be like a spammy crazy guy just blasting all the stuff everywhere just to make some money because that’s not good.

You can also use these pages for solo ads, banners to get pretty much instant traffic using the pay per click ads to get traffic. All kinds of things you can do to start driving traffic now.

Now once you have this site set up and you’re able to make the simple pages that get people into stuffs, then you can promote them whenever you want. Now, disclaimer-There is a risk with affiliate marketing, most affiliate marketers ends up making nothing but some of them actually do make money.  What I’m going to show you is based on what I’ve done.

So do something, get it rocking and roll, test the market right now and get some results. I hope you enjoyed this note.
