Go From Beginner to $1,000 a Month: Build Your Content, Offer Pitches, and Giveaways

What would I do if my back was against the wall and I had to make $1,000 a month, each and every month within the next 30 days?

Well, today, I’m going to show you exactly what I would do, and walk you through everything so you know what you need to do.

Now, I got to tell you, this is a business. It takes some work. There’s some little tweaks that need to be made. Not every niche, not every customer, not every affiliate offer is the same.

What you can expect is real-world information on how I run my blogging business and how I’ve helped many other people do the same. I’ve helped lots of people get financially free over the years by learning this simple stuff.

I think if you follow along and you really dive in, you should be able to get some results.

Build Your Content, Offer Pitches, and Giveaways

We have to build our content, our offer pitches, and our giveaways.

What Are Your Target Market’s Needs, Desires, and Wants?

What is it that people desire? What is it that they want? Figure it out. You have the keys to the kingdom.

Figure out what people want. I know what you guys want because you tell me all the time. Very cool. You guys want to make like $1,000 to $10,000 a month or more. That’s what you want.

Find Other Offers and Flipper Markets

You have to look at other offers and see what’s out there.

What are flipper markets? These are markets that you can start with one niche and flip the audience into a related niche.

Set Up Follow-up Messages

Next, you want to set up follow up messages. You should have 5 – 10 messages to send out to your mailing list. These can also correspond to 5 – 10 blog posts for your blog.

You can send these to people when they opt in in your list. Very basic, very simple.

Add Direct Calls to Action on All Pieces of Content

You should add a direct sales call to action on all your pieces of content. Tell your audience to download this, fill out this form, whatever it is. Don’t be afraid to be direct.

Differentiate Traffic Content and Sales Content

Make sure to differentiate your traffic content from your sales content.

What does that mean? That means the content you use to get traffic is going to be different from the content that you use to sell.

When I do these webinars on YouTube, the purpose of them is to sell. You guys usually know who I am when you watch my long webinars.

Some of the smaller videos I have on YouTube, like my recent rap video, are used primarily to get new people. They’re different types of content.

Usually, when I do sales stuff, I do long-form videos, where I talk for an hour and half. When I do traffic-getting videos, they’re shorter. On the sales webinars, I sell hard, and tell people that they need to buy my stuff.

I’ll say, “You need to go get a high-ticket niche right now at www.HighTicketNiche.com, because not only is the domain almost worth what you pay for the niche, but you’re also going to get a site.

“We’re also going to teach you the market. You’re going to get all the plugins installed. You’ll get some content. We’re going to tell you the offers to run. We’re going to give you 90 days of support to walk you through everything on Tuesday calls, so you can ask questions to your heart’s content.”

I’m going to sell hard, because that’s what this is for.

On traffic content, I might not sell that hard. I might just be like, “Hey, opt in, or check out my next video, or whatever.”

Go From Beginner to $1,000 a Month: Start an Opt in / Sale Blog

Start a Simple Opt in / Sale Blog

Something you want to do is set up a simple opt in or sale blog.

You can learn how to set up a blog at www.GoHubSite.com. It will show you how to get hosting, set up a test site, and then build it out. It’s very cool.

Here are the steps you can take to create your simple blog.

Get a Good, Targeted Domain Name

The first step is to get a good, targeted domain name.

Make sure you’re getting a domain name that has something to do with your niche.

You just go get it, it’s very simple. I buy domains every single day for our high-ticket niche customers.

And if you say that all the good domains are taken, then you haven’t looked hard enough. There are always ones you can use.

Focus On Your Traffic Method

Before you build your site, you have to know your traffic method.

Why? You’re going to build a different site for paid traffic than you would for free traffic. You’re going to build a different site for social media than you would for YouTube.

I can teach you all of this stuff. If you want to learn it, you can go to www.SimpleSitesBonus.com and get my course. It walks you through everything in videos, and it even shows you how to determine what your best traffic method is.

And if you need help, we help you. Every Tuesday we have a call that you can join, if you’re in the Simple Sites course.

Create a Hard-Hitting Sales Message

Notice that I said “hard-hitting”. You don’t want to go out there and just waffle it. You want to sell.

If you want to make money, you have to ask the people to do what’s going to make you money. What do you want them to do that’s going to make you money? If you don’t ask, then you won’t get it.

Ask for the sale. Tell people where to sign up. Show them how to sign up.

Build Your Site / Blog Flow

Next, you have to build your site or blog flow.

What is a site or blog flow? It’s pretty much what it sounds like. It’s how your site flows.

Some people use things like ClickFunnels or Builderall to build their sites. Those are decent software, but they’re not magic. They’re just building platforms. If you want to use them, go ahead and do it.

As for me, I recommend using WordPress. We have plugins that do everything you need to do on WordPress.

Right now, I’m running a seven-figure business with WordPress and my plugins. That’s it. I don’t even use all 12 of my plugins, I just use 2 of them.

Here’s what this looks like.

You have your site. On page one, you want people to opt in. Your goal is to get them to put their name and email in the box, and click “submit.” When they click “submit”, they’ll go to the thank you page. On your thank you page, you want to have some offers.

Let’s say that you have a site about belly fat. People come to your site, and you tell them they’re going to get a free report on belly fat and how to lose belly fat. Maybe you have a video on your site telling people how they can get the free report (by opting in). You tell them that they’ll learn the top 10 tips to lose belly fat. Or maybe you just have an image on your site.

Either way, once people opt in, they’ll go to your thank you page.

On that page you can tell them thanks for joining, and they’ll get an email shortly that’s going to have the belly fat report. But for now, here are the top three things that help get rid of belly fat. (Here you can give affiliate offers.)

Then, behind your blog, you have all these blog posts. These will be emailed out with offers on them.

This is exactly what I do.

If you look at the main site for this business, it’s Affiliate Marketing Dude. You can see it at www.AffiliateMarketingDude.com. You’ll see the main page, where people can enter their name and email. On other pages, people can opt in as well. It’s basic. That’s what we’re doing.

You’ll also notice that I have other stuff that gets picked up in Google, stuff that I can mail out and send to people.

I have my ads and my content. It’s the same exact kind of blog as I’m tell you to make.

In my opinion, this works better than some kind of fancy funnel building software. Why? Because it ranks in Google. It’s easy. It’s fast. It’s adaptable. I like that.

I want to be able to change something at the drop of a hat. I want to be able to go in there and not log into some complicated software. I just want to be able to type a word, or put an image up, or put a video up, or whatever it may be.

WordPress makes it extremely easy. When you pair it with our plugins, it’s ridiculously simple and easy to do, if you really focus.

Once you build your site or blog flow, you’re going to want to build your mailing list. That will be the key to getting the numbers fast. You can use the tools that you find in the MarcusMentor.me program. And if you need help, you can join our Tuesday calls.

You can get our plugins, and a book, and a t-shirt, and all kinds of cool stuff at www.MarcusMentor.me.

From Beginner to $1,000 a Month: Breaking Down the Numbers

Breaking Down the Numbers

First, you have to ask yourself this question.

If you are not making money online, it’s because you’re not asking the right questions.

You’re probably sitting around saying, “How do I make money online?”

But there are so many ways you can make money online. Shopify. eBay. Affiliate Marketing. Pay-per-call. Pay-per-click. SEO. You name it, there are just tons of things.

What if you refine it, and instead of saying, “How am I going to make money online?”, say, “What is my niche and how fast can I get traffic?” And, “Who am I trying to target?”

You want to target a group of people, because the more you know about your target, the more money you’re going to make.

You need to make it to where you really understand them.

It might be something simple, like a market for refinancing a house. How many of you have ever refinanced a house?

If you have, great. You can help all the people who haven’t yet refinanced their house.

How many of you have ever cleaned your carpet? Great, you can help people with that.

Or how many of you don’t know anything about anything? If that’s the case, you can go learn stuff on the internet. There are no excuses.

You might say that you’re not passionate about anything. But if you say that, I don’t give a rip. I wasn’t passionate about, like, 90% of the niches I went into. I was passionate about making money, and marketing, and understanding what makes this stuff work.

That let me to go and learn things. You have to go and learn what you need to know.

And I have to tell you, if you spend eight hours learning something, really learning it, you’re going to know more than 90% of the marketplace anyway. Very important.

There are some main questions you have to ask yourself here.

What is Your Niche, and How Fast Can You Get Traffic?

What’s your niche? What’s your market? How fast can you get traffic?

Now, this is important because you have to go in and figure out who you’re trying to reach.

What I do is a trigger word method, or I try to find out what people are searching for. They might be searching for something like “How to put AdSense on a blog”, or “how much does it cost to have a wedding”, or “signs of pregnancy”, or something like that.

If they’re pregnant, you could promote offers for health insurance, or maybe get people to download a baby name book, or maybe promote a pregnancy book, or whatever it may you. You go through and learn about people, and you get them stuff.

How, how fast can you get traffic? This is a loaded question, because you can get traffic right now.

People ask me all the time, “Marcus, how long does it take to make money online?” You could make money online right this second.

You could go on Facebook and get into a group, and you can share some things with people that are helpful, and then you can sell stuff.

Now, notice I didn’t say spam. There are a lot of people who spam the hell out of Facebook and all kinds of places, right? They do make money, but it’s unethical. It’s short-lived. They’re probably not going to live very long in terms of the market, and they’re going to end up with nothing.

That’s the trade-off. If you provide content with good value, good information that people want, then it lives forever. If I make a good post on Facebook and people buy from it, I can then turn that into a PDF, and I can then turn that into all kinds of other things.

How fast can I get traffic? I can get traffic right now. I can go and take my credit card, I can buy an ad right now and get traffic right now.

What’s stopping you from getting traffic?

What is the Best Offer and Commission Payout?

The next question you have to ask yourself is, what is the best offer and commission payout?

Let’s say you’re going into the belly fat market. You want to teach people about belly fat and how to get rid of it.

You can go out there, and you can find an offer. You want to find something related to belly fat, and something that pays well. You could go to OfferVault and look at the ads for “belly fat”, and you might find offers that pay $37, or $47 for commission. Or they might be $80 or $90 per sale. Or perhaps you could look for “abs”, since they’re related to belly fat.

You have to be very, very proactive with this. You have to go get what you want.

So many people come to me and say, “Marcus, I’ve been following you for years, and I’m not getting any results.” And I say, “What did you do?” They say, “Well, I set up a hub site.” And then I say, “Yeah, well, you need to go out and market it.”

Because if you don’t get out there, you’re never going to be found. You have to get proactive.

You have to get the people that want to look at your stuff.

There are people on the net, they’re out there. They’re searching for belly fat. We know that. They’re doing it right now. We also know that someone will pay us $62 for a sale.

Now, do you see the two sides of the coin? There’s a guy out there searching for belly fat, and there’s a guy willing to pay us. Your job is to link them together, plain and simple. Everything else is just filler.

How Many Clicks Will It Take to Get a Conversion?

You might be someone who’s still waiting for people to convert. If that’s the case, you’re probably getting the wrong traffic.

You could say, “Oh, I’m getting 1,000 clicks a day.”

If no one’s buying anything, your traffic is wrong, or your site isn’t very good, but I’m guessing your traffic is probably wrong.

If you’re getting 1,000 clicks for a $1, chances are it’s really crappy traffic.

It’s 2019, guys. We’re past the days of all the junk. We have to focus on what really works. We have to get the right, targeted traffic.

Let’s look at some scenarios where you can make $1,000 a month.

Imagine you find an offer that pays $61 a sale. Out of 100 clicks, you get 2 sales. You’d be making $122 over 100 clicks, and that means you’d be making $1.22 a click.

If you know that, on average, you’re making $1.22 for every click, $1.22 a click, then how many clicks do you need to make $1,000 a month?

Well, you need to make roughly 600 or 700 clicks.

If you’re averaging 10 cents a click, then you need 10,000 visitors every month, or 300 visitors a day. 10 cents a click times 10,000 will get you your $1,000.

Or imagine you get 25 cents a click. You need 4,000 clicks a month, or 133 a day. Are you going to let 133 clicks stop you?

If you average 50 cents, that would be 2,000 visitors a month, or 67 a day.

If you average $1 a click, that’s $1,000 clicks a month, or 30 per day. 30 a day comes to 1.2 clicks an hour. Anyone can do that. You just have to focus.

If you make $3 a click, you need 333 visitors a month, or 11 a day. That’s 1 click every 2 hours.

You could just go post on Facebook, say hi to people, and get one person to click every two hours. And that could be while you’re watching TV, eating chips, and being lazy. Seriously.

Note that some of my higher front-end traffic has been around $10 a click.

And remember that we’re just talking about front-end traffic. This doesn’t include what you’re going to make residually, what you’re going to build up to, what you’ll make off your mailing list.

Here’s the deal. It all depends on what you’re selling, or giving away, or whatever it is. You could sell stuff, you could give away downloads, you could do all kinds of stuff. Whatever gets you paid that’s ethical, and good, and right, and serves your market, I’m all for.

If you have an offer that has a lower payout, or a lower conversation rate, you’re going to need more traffic. With a higher payout and conversion, you’ll need less traffic.

How many little clicks are you letting stop you from reaching your goals?

Seven Lessons Learned from “The Loudest Voice”

Seven Lessons Learned from “The Loudest Voice”

Today, I want to show you seven crucial business lessons that you can learn from “The Loudest Voice”, the new TV show on Showtime.

These seven lessons will fundamentally change the way you look at making money online or offline, with anything you want to do.

1. Everyone Has a Reason Why Something Won’t Work

There are all these reasons why things won’t work.

Back when I started my business and internet marketing, everyone looked around and told me, “Hey, this isn’t going to work.”

And I said, “You know what? Get away from me. I’m doing this because I know it’s going to work. And all I need is one reason why it will.”

And after teaching entrepreneurs for years, everyone comes to me with their excuses of why things won’t work.

People say that a one-page website doesn’t work, and it can’t happen in the real world. But you know what? It actually does.

And the people that make it happen are the people who believe it will happen, and take the action to make it happen, and educate themselves on the things that they need to make these things happen.

So you have to look at that and say no to excuses. Say that you’re going to focus on what does work.

2. Cater to an Underserved, Unheard Market

This lesson is very important. What’s in your market? How can you go into your market and look for something that’s underserved?

If you’re going into the weight loss market, instead of doing what everyone else does, why don’t you go where people feel unheard? Maybe there’s a group of people that want to lose 100 pounds or more, and there’s nothing serving their needs.

Maybe there’s a group of people that only want to lose five pounds.

Whatever it is, find that portion of your market that’s not being heard.

I would rather dominate a small market than flounder around and try to make something happen in a big market. Hands down, no questions asked.

3. Focus on Getting Shit Done Fast

This is like number one, where most people have a lot of excuses.

You have to look at this and say that you’re going to focus on getting things done.

How can you get your website done? How can you get something for sale? How can you get something ready for the market now? Instead of delaying and waiting and putting all that tape on everything, why don’t you put it out there and see what the market has to say?

There’s nothing that’s going to give you a better business lesson than putting something in front of the market and seeing what they have to say.

4. Focus on the Right Stuff

When you’re getting things done, you need to make sure you’re getting the right things done.

What kind of things are you doing? Are you doing the right stuff in your business? Are you doing the right stuff in your education? Or are you constantly struggling, going from thing to thing to thing, and never getting anything worthwhile or meaningful done?

You have to focus on getting the right things done, and getting them done now.

5. Execute

You have to be executing on your plans. And you have to remember that not everything is going to be perfect the first run, but you still have to get things out.

You have to test them in your market.

That’s not to say you should put something out that’s unethical, or shady, or weird. But if you constantly wait for everything to be perfect, you’re going to constantly be waiting.

Remember that this is a growth process. You start with something small, and you grow, and you learn, and you roll with the punches, and you keep on going.

Now, there are a couple of negative lessons that you’re going to get from this show as well.

-1. Don’t Be a Jerk and Misuse Money, Power, and Influence

As you can see, there’s a lot of misuse of money and power and politics out there. A lot of people playing in this field are not good people.

You never want to misuse your power. You never want to misuse your trust.

You always want to live an authentic, ethical life. It’s going to make you seep better at night, and probably live longer, too.

-2. Don’t Put Profits Over Lifestyle

I have a lot of friends in the industry, and when they put profits over lifestyle, their lifestyle suffers.

But we forget that the reason we got into this was to create a lifestyle.

I set out 20 years ago, and I said I want to make enough money for my kids to be home, and me to be home with them, and to live at home. That’s what I wanted to do. I didn’t want to have to go to work.

And 20 years ago, when I set that goal, I never thought I would make eight figures or more on the internet, which I’ve done now, which is really cool. I never thought that would happen.

But I can look back at those time when I put profit over lifestyle, and I focused on dollars in the bank rather than the life it provided, and that’s when I got off base.

You guys have probably heard the story where I became an alcoholic, and all kinds of crazy stuff happened, and that was because I was putting profits over lifestyle.

Remember why you’re getting in the business.

Maybe it’s so you can spend time with your grandkids, or get your wife home from work, or stay at home, or whatever it is. Focus on that first, because numbers in the bank don’t matter. The way you live matters.

Pay-Per-Call and Affiliate Marketing

Pay-Per-Call and Affiliate Marketing

Today we’re going to talk about pay-per-call.

Pay per call is a lot like affiliate marketing, only instead of getting an affiliate link, you get a custom phone number.

So when you log into your account, and you choose to promote a pay-per-call offer, the network will ask you how you’re going to promote it. Obviously they want to make sure you’re legitimate.

Then, they’re going to generate a custom number for you. And this is a special number that’s unique to you, for as long as you’re promoting the offer.

So all you have to do is put this phone number on your website, or in your promotions (obviously following their terms and conditions, not just spamming it everywhere), and you’ll get paid when a certain person calls the number and stays on the line for a certain amount of time.

Now, these can be leads for anything from rehab to health insurance, to quotes on carpeting or plumbers, or anything like that.

And these companies will pay you anywhere from $1 to upwards of $1,000 for a lead. That’s what I’ve seen at least.

Now, a lead is determined by a legitimate call that lasts a certain amount of time. So it could be anywhere from 30 seconds to 60 seconds, to 90 seconds, to upwards of 2 minutes or more.

When a person calls the unique number, there is a custom tracking software that says who a call came from and how long they stayed on the line.

Once they stay on long enough, you get paid in your affiliate account.

I like to go on OfferVault to search for pay-per-call offers.

You’ll notice it has several different tabs to help you search, and if you’re only looking for pay-per-call offers, you can select that tab.

And if you search by payout and see the highest payouts first, you’ll notice that some of these offers pay really, really well.

Let’s think about why this happens for a moment.

These are a lot of the things that are advertised on TV. And when people advertise these on TV, they spend a lot money, and they don’t know if they’re going to get any calls.

So when they come to people like us, affiliate marketers, these people are guaranteed a call for a certain amount of time.

There are lots of different ways to promote these offers.

I’ve seen people promote them on Facebook groups and Instagram and things like that.

You can also market them on your blog or your website.

You can even do videos and drive your traffic to your site.

When you’re looking for offers, you want to try and find the ones that are low competition. But even ones with high competition can work well, because they pay so well.

The key is to find words that the advertisers aren’t thinking about, and build a good site around how to help people with the offer you’re promoting.

There are a lot of people making a lot of money with pay-per-call offers, and it’s not that hard to do. This is exactly what I’ve been doing for many years with pay-per-call.

And here’s another tip for you:

You can make a blog that has good content for people, and when you’re promoting your affiliate offer, you want to create your own banner for it.

So you would go in and create a new image. And instead of typing the phone number on your site, you’ll make a banner that’s pretty big. You’ll keep the background the same color as your site, and you can add a message related to your offer.

Then you would add the phone number that the affiliate company gives you.

The reason you want to do this is because rather than typing it out on your site, when it’s done as an image, all you would have to do it change the number on everything on your site is to change the one image, instead of going in and changing every single link.

You just go in and change the image, and everything on your site changes to reflect if the offer changes or something like that.

And you can make this as catchy as you want, using the stuff that I teach you in the Simple Sites Big Profits tool.

So if you want to get into pay-per-call, what you should do is head over to www.SimpleSitesBonus.com, pick up a copy of my Simple Sites Big Profits software, and use that.

Then hop on our calls we have every Tuesday, and tell us what you’re up to, and we’ll help you out with it. We’ll show you how to get more leads, and drive more, traffic, and make more money.

Create a Content Marketing Empire

Create a Content Marketing Empire

Want to learn how to build a content empire and make a bunch of money, put it in your bank, and live happily ever after? Well, that’s exactly what I’m going to show you.

If it’s structured the right way, and if you put in front of the right people, content can make you a lot of money.

A lot of people say that “content is king”. People put a bunch of reports and articles and stuff out there, and they think that hopefully they’ll make money.

And what happens is this:

They forget that the whole idea of content is to do something.

You want to write content for a specific purpose, a specific idea. You’re not just writing content to get ranked in the search engines. You’re writing content so that you get people to do what you want.

You don’t ever want to put pen to paper without knowing how you’re going to make money in a very specific way.

When dealing with your content, you need to have an agenda.

When there are political debates going on, people spin their ideas into whatever they want. And after the debates, they go into something called a spin room. That means that they literally tell you what to think about what you just saw.

As marketers, we want to do the same thing. What we want to learn is mastering the art of the spin.

We also want to think about the concept called categorical reference. People are constantly fitting new data into old folders, with old ideas and old beliefs.

And since there’s so much new data, we’re constantly deleting  and filtering information. We often feel overwhelmed.

What does this have to do with marketing?

Your customer, your visitor, your reader is doing the exact same thing with your content.

And the key is to find things that people don’t know they’re looking for, and spin it into what you want.

People just write content to try to get people to look at it, and they don’t focus on what they’re going to do.

Because if you just write articles and put ads on them, or put affiliate links, or whatever it is, that’s not going to cut it. You have to spin people. The article needs to be designed to sell what you’re offering. So whatever you’re trying to push, it needs to be made in a new way.

Always be ethical, always be honest. Always share the truth. Always give good offers. But with that said, you can spin your content to what you want it to be. Very important.

I do this all the time. Here’s an example.

One of the videos I’m going to make is about using credit cards to fund your business. This isn’t necessarily something I would normally create, because that’s not really my bag. But people are looking up using credit cards to start a business. And I’m like, “Hey, I could spin that into affiliate marketing by showing people how inexpensive and how risk-free affiliate marketing is.”

On my webinars, people always sat that you can’t just set up little sites and make money, but that’s absolute BS.

People think that way because they’re focusing on what the majority of people are doing, which is making some content, and  hoping and praying that the search engines pick it up, or get shared, or whatever the case is.

But this is exactly what I’ve been doing for 19 years, and it works.

It’s all about spinning the marking to your point of view.

When I got into the multi-million dollar market of smiley faces, cursors, and background downloads, I didn’t market them as “background downloads”. I marketed them as “make your MySpace profile awesome.” See the difference?

If I had gone for “backgrounds” or “layouts”, I probably wouldn’t have gotten much traffic. It probably would have been a lot more competitive.

But because I went the other route and spun it, it was very successful.

Spin marketing plus market flipping plus anticipatory marketing equals big success.

If you can spin your market, flip them into what you want (the stuff that pays), you can make it work.

If you want people to follow you and support you, you need to keep them reading. You need to keep them looking. You have to keep them on your site.

You can’t just write a crappy article or get some article outsourced. Your content needs to do something. It needs to get them in.

You can build an empire focused on creating good quality content, and not just content that talks about stuff.

We don’t want to be Wikipedia. Wikipedia is always begging for money, because they’re not flipping the damn market. Do you know how much money is sitting on Wikipedia?

If they allowed two ads, it’d be insane. But they always send emails asking people to support them because they’re going to go broke.

And you’d think, why are you going broke if content is king?

It’s because content isn’t king. If content was king, Wikipedia wouldn’t need your money. Plain and simple.

So many people think that content is king. But the truth is that content with a directive is king.

If you do this in the right way, you could literally sit at your house all day, and just write content and put it in front of people.

But there’s another key element. You want the money to get people to your site. And the cool thing is that this traffic can cost pennies. People are literally paying pennies a click for their ads, and everyone else is fighting for expensive traffic.

Guys, this is what I’ve been doing for a long time. The key is that you have to do it in an advertorial style. Your content is written to get people to take action on what you want them to take action on.

Do you know what one of my number one keywords is for the “make money online affiliate marketing” niche?

It’s not really related to affiliate marketing, but it’s my number one highest converting keyword.

The word is “AdSense”.

People are always looking to put AdSense on their website. I tell them, “Here’s how to put AdSense on your website. By the way, did you know you can make more money with affiliate offers?”

That’s super non-competitive.

The keyword “affiliate marketing” is really competitive, around $10 a click, but “Adsense”, “put ads on blog” or things like that are really cheap.

If you get this, your marketing is about to change. It’s going to start to make sense. But you can’t waffle it, you can’t mess around. You have to go through and have a good hook, and suck your people in.

I Quit My Job and Made $9 Million on the Internet

I Quit My Job and Made $9 Million on the Internet

Today we’re going to show you what happened when I quit my job and ended up making over $9 million on the internet.

I also want to share with you what I learned in my life, rather than just what I learned in business, because I think it goes hand in hand.

We’re going to take you back in my journey about 19 years. Because 19 years ago, almost to the day, is when I first started making money on the internet. Tomorrow is the 4th of July, and I’ll never forget it. It was like yesterday.

I had first opened my internet business in March of the year 2000. On the 4th of July of that year, I remember I was over at my dad’s house having a barbecue. (And the burgers weren’t that great, because my dad only thinks that there’s a high knob on the grill, he doesn’t know that you can slowly cook things. I’ve taken over barbecuing since then.)

I remember driving home late at night after the fireworks and everything. And I got home to my busted up crazy mobile home with a bunch of drug addicts (it was really not a good place to live).

And I logged into my ClickBank account and I saw that I had made $21 while I was gone. I had made money while I was out on 4th of July, having hamburgers with my family.

And to me, that was a mind-blowing experience.

I was like, “Wait a minute.”

I had made money online by selling things, but this was the first time I had actually made passive automatic income without having to do anything.

This was a site that I had set up months before, and all of a sudden, it made money.

And to me, that was a light bulb moment. I thought, “Wow, this really works.”

Have you ever had that light bulb moment in your head?

So here’s the question.

Do you want to keep struggling in a world of information overload and lack? Or would you rather learn the most efficient and effective ways of creating long-lasting economic freedom?

I want to make a commitment to you right now. My commitment to you for the duration of this blog post is to show you the exact skills and methods that are effective in creating a marketing career.

Not a job, not a gimmick, not a tactic. An actual career. Not just for me personally, but for many who benefit from the shared prosperity of the internet.

And we have to remember that this whole internet thing has a shared prosperity.

Many people think that there’s just a handful of people, gurus, and Amazon that are making all the money, and there’s not any left for the little guy. It seems like it’s all going to the gurus, and the gurus are only making money selling stuff, and the regular dude can’t make money.

I want you to know that this is absolutely false.

That’s a cognitive bias that has been fed by lots of other things. You’re not the little guy. There’s room left for you.

You can make it happen.

Because when I first started, I didn’t have a lot of money. I didn’t have a lot of influence. I didn’t have a mailing list. I didn’t even have a website. I didn’t have any skills.

And I went out there, and I said, “I’m going to learn this, and I’m going to do it.”

And while there are a few fat cats bucking the system, the fact is that there are regular, hard-working, honest people like me and you that are out there making a killing online every single day.

I remember being where you are. Sitting in that mobile home, saying, ‘This is gonna be me,” and everyone around me saying, “This ain’t gonna work. You better go get a regular job.”

And I said, “Hell, no. I’m going to do this.”

Now I want you to imagine being able to live life on your own terms, having the economic freedom to do what you want, when you want.

Some people want to make millions, and some people just want to make it work. Some people just want to make ends meet.

This training is going to be all about I got where I’m at today, what the steps were along the way, what the skills were that I learned, and what happened in my mind along the way.

Because I believe if I could take you by the hand and walk you through this journey that I’ve gone through for almost 20 years, I think those moments will teach you something.

It’s even easier now than it was 20 years ago, and it’s really pretty simple.

Back in 1999, I was a magician, and I was trying to make my magic stuff work. I was trying to get more people to sign up, and I was also working at McDonald’s.

I remember one day thinking about how I would make $5 an hour at McDonald’s, and then I was going to go over to Garden Grove and do a school show for a local school and make $600.

I remember thinking in my head, “That $600 is more than I make all month at McDonald’s.”

So I thought, “I’m going to do magic full time.”

And I took the risk.

I knew it might not work, and people told me it wouldn’t work. I was losing my guaranteed $5 an hour, and even the manager at McDonald’s called me names and said I’d be back here ‘cause I was a lose and would never make it work.

So I took a leap of faith doing magic, and I also took a leap of faith in taking $170 from that $600 and investing in an ad in a magazine.

My ad said, “Magic, Balloons, Comedy, and Fun. Magic by Marcus” and then my phone number.

Back then $170 was crazy. It was a big risk, especially for me, because when I was 15 or 16 I had actually moved out and had to find a way to fend for myself. My Dad helped a little bit, but not much.

So I had to make stuff work.

I had that ad, and I was nervous. I thought, “Am I going to get any calls?”

The minute that ad hit, I started getting calls the same day. People wanted to pay me $400 for shows, and $600 for school shows, and on an on.

I was able to get 5 or 6 shows a month, and $170 turned into about $1,000. I got repeat business, and I was making more than I ever was at McDonald’s.

But it was still relatively low.

I was still having a hard time, but I was learning more about this stuff.

I had a magic magazine, and I read an ad inside. It said, “Do you want to get more magic bookings?”

And I thought, “Yes, yes I do.”

It said, “Do this and this, and give me a call.”

So I called the number and told the guy that I didn’t have any money, and I just spent my money on an ad. What could I do?

And he said, “Here’s the deal. I’m going to tell you what to do with your ad, but after it works, buy my product.”

And I said, “Dude, of course.”

So he said, “Change your ad for “Magic, Balloons, Comedy, and Fun by Marcus” to “Make Your Child’s Party Unforgettable, Comedy Magic Show, Your Child is the Star. Call Marcus Today.”

So I changed it. And instantly, I got 5 to 10 times the bookings. It was the same $170 ad, same magazine, same everything.

So now I didn’t have to go to the budget grocery store (but I still did, ‘cause I liked saving money, and it was right around the corner from my house).

Now, I want to show you the skills that I learned along the way, because these skills are things that you’ll need to learn.

The big skill I learned is the ability to sell in print and in person.

This is very important. It doesn’t matter if you’re good at WordPress, or if you are a good video person, none of that matters.

What matters is that you know how to write words on paper that get people to respond.

If you learn that, you’ll never have to look for a job, if you do it right.

That’s the real magic. That’s where the real money is at. Learning how to write an ad.

A year later, in 2000, I graduated high school. I needed to make a little more money, because I wanted to move away from the place I had been renting with my brother for years, and I wanted to be on my own, because I just didn’t like living in the environment we were in.

So I moved out, and I took a leap of faith, but I told myself that I had to get out of there and do this.

I made a website for a local cigar company, for which I charged $10,000.

And then I thought, “What if I did SEO? What if I charged people to get ranked on the search engines? That’d by pretty cool.”

So I used what I learned with the magic business, and I built and built upon everything.

I took that website I made and got the cigar company ranking on the search engines. Then I did the same with magic stores and limousine companies.

My philosophy was to always find the keywords first, and only get words I could rank for. Because I wasn’t really good at SEO, and I’m still not. But I was good at finding keywords.

So instead of going out there and declaring myself as Marcus the SEO guy, I wrote letters on paper to companies and told them I could get more business to their websites.

And boom, the phone rang off the hook. I closed maybe two out of three of those people. I had this thing called the money table, where I’d go and ring people up when they used my services. We were all happy when the money table worked, because it was a loud credit card processor that could be heard throughout my entire house, and people knew I was making money.

Then I found a site called PayPal. I had a PayPal account, and I was able to take money via PayPal.

And I saw they had a “Shop” section, which I thought was pretty cool. It had all these shops organized by category for people who take PayPal.

I saw a site for people who sold gas powered scooters with PayPal. And I emailed them and asked, do you want to get more sales for your gas powered scooters? Call me.” It worked, and I sold a lot of them.

Then I got another idea. I was averaging around $100 an email I sent out. And I thought, “I wonder if I can do better?”

I was making $100 a call, so if I could email them a PayPal dollar, then they wouldn’t be getting an email from a random guy. They’d be getting an email from PayPal that said, “You just made money.”

And then it would say, “Hey guys, it’s Marcus. If you want more dollars, call me.” And it tripled the response instantly.

The first skill that I learned in 2000 was to find the people where they are. You can’t expect people to come to you, wanting what you have to offer. You have to go find them. You have to go get them. And it’s not hard to do, because they’re hanging out everywhere.

People really mess this up, because they don’t focus.

The second skill is personalizing the message to meet the people’s needs. So many people get into marketing, and they think about what they want, and not what they’re going to do about it.

And no one is just going to hand those people money.

In 2003, I moved to Oregon. I had my wife and child, and another baby on the way. I was still doing SEO. A guy named Frank Kern called me and said, “I’m going to order three of your most expensive packages.” And he signed up right there on the spot.

He said, “I want you to rank my site about teaching parrots to talk.”

I thought, “That’s an easy one.” So I took his site, I got him traffic that converted, and he ranked within days. He got tons of visitors and made lots of sales.

He asked me, “If you could get all this traffic, why don’t you go through and just rank everything you want, and send people to affiliate offers?”

And I said, “I think I could do that.”

So I set up two sites, one about cable TV, and the other one about how to get your ex girlfriend or boyfriend back. I thought that was an interesting niche.

I made those sites, and then I drove from Oregon down to South California for a vacation at my dad’s. It was around July 4th.

We didn’t have fancy internet, we had a little antenna that was on the laptop, slow as hell, and it only worked like 9% of the time. And so I had to wait to check how the sites were doing.

I just set them up, and it took me about an hour and a half. I went on vacation, and at then end of the vacation, I found out that I had actually made about $1,200 on those sites.

I didn’t have to do anything, I didn’t have to call anyone, I didn’t have to rank any sites. They just made money.

And this was an aha moment for me.

This was the same kind of aha moment I had back on July 4th of 2000. Because that’s when I made my first $21 without doing anything. Now, I made $1,200 without doing any extra work.

I thought to myself, “Wait a minute. This stuff is real. This can work.”

And then I thought:

What if I could set something up today that will generate money over and over, even when I’m not working?

What if I could figure out a way to make $5 a day, every day, just from what I do today?

I could make around $1,800 a year.

If I could do that ten times, that $18,000. You get the picture.

But the cool thing about this is that it’s not just $5. You could do this and make $100, or $500, or more.

I’ve done this and made as much as $4500 a day passively on a site that I set up in less than a day.

So after I had that aha moment, I set up over 300 sites purely on free traffic from Google, generating up to $1,700 a day or more.

The big skill that I learned here was seizing on the gap in the marketplace. I was able to see gaps and make them work at whatever cost.

I learned how to automate content creation, I learned affiliate marketing, and some basic web skills.

There are gaps all over the marketplace. They’re everywhere, and people are sitting there and worrying about the wrong things.

There are opportunities everywhere, but you may not have the skills the meet the opportunity. That’s why I’m going through these to show you what it’s all about.

In 2008, people told me that I needed to get into blogging. I didn’t like blogging, but I finally learned it, and it was a pain in the ass.

I set up some blogs, and I started teaching affiliate marketing.

People often ask me if I’m one of those gurus who teaches stuff but never really did it.

But I didn’t start teaching until 10 years after I had already been doing internet marketing, when people were begging me to teach.

The only reason I started teaching is because my friend Harris called me one day. He told me he had a teleseminar with hundreds of people waiting to hear from a marketing expert, and his had just bailed on him. He asked if I could hop on and tell people what I’m doing, and I said I sure would.

So I hopped on the call. I had just gotten out of the pool, we were at around $4,000 for the day, and I sat in my office soaking wet.

I did the teleseminar and taught things to people, and at the end, everyone thought it was awesome. They asked what they could buy from me, and I asked Harris, “We’re supposed to sell something?”

And he said, “Yeah, you always sell something on a teleseminar.” I didn’t know that.

So I told everyone, “I made a PayPal link, and you guys can have a DVD, and I’m going to teach you this stuff in a book.”

Even though I didn’t have any of that stuff yet.

And so I committed. I told myself, “I’m going to write a book this weekend, and I’m going to record a DVD this weekend.” I went into my garage, set it up like a little studio, and made my DVD, and it worked really well.

And what I learned there is how to listen to my market.

This is a skill that is so important that if you ignore it, you won’t make any money.

Your market wants to tell you things, and you have to listen to them. Why do you think I ask questions on my seminars? You guys direct the course of where I go. You guys are in charge.

Why? Because you guys are the guys that consume my stuff.

If I lean on my own expertise of what I think you want, it’s just going to be a guess. If you tell me what you want, it’s guaranteed.

So I learned how to listen to my market. I learned direct selling, and of course, I learned how to teach.

Luckily, over the last 10 years, I’ve gotten a lot better at teach, which is pretty cool.

Then 2011 rolled around. I started outsourcing software and tools, and then I thought to myself, “I wonder if I could have software and tools made?”

I thought they would cost like 10 million dollars to make. And I found that they only cost like 500 bucks to make a little plugin, or a tool, or whatever it may be.

And so I tried it, and I started making money with it almost instantly that year.

The big skill I learned there was creating super simple tools, and it was way easier than I thought, and way more profitable than I thought. And that was awesome.

In 2012, I started my YouTube channel. I brought it up on a webinar where I was selling people on Simple Sites Bootcamp, my training course that everyone should be in.

I told everyone, “I think I want to show you guys how to get traffic with YouTube.”

I had found out that I could get traffic right away. I did a test that same year and actually made $3,000 off of a video that only had 140 views.

2014 was a tough year for me. I had a nervous breakdown and suffered from alcoholism, depression, and a suicide attempt.

I got really depressed, I spiraled out and it just consumed me.

Here are some of the things I learned from that year.

One is that money isn’t the be-all, end-all. Money isn’t going to make you happy.

I also learned to not hinge my self-worth on my net worth, because they’re not the same. A person is not worth a dollar amount. A person is worth whatever or whoever created us says we’re worth. And that’s how I look at it.

I don’t deserve any more than whoever has the least. Anything above that is just a blessing.

I also learned that I’m not always right about everything. That philosophy of life is important. If you don’t have a philosophy of life, life is going to create a philosophy for you, and it usually looks something like, “Why is life so hard to me? Why is life so difficult?”

And I struggled and struggled with that, until I decided to purposely make a philosophy of life.

Throughout all of this, I learned that I really, really liked helping people before I had a hard time, because I was looking at my teaching business as all profit, and thought I had to get it as profitable as possible.

And then, when I got sober, I thought, “You know, we’re making enough to get by, we’re making more than enough, and I think I like teaching people.”

And I learned, and I grew, and I really invested in my students. I learned that it’s actually pretty profitable when people are really helped.

Last month, I actually hit five years sober, which is an accomplishment above the money that I’m pretty happy about. And I couldn’t have done it on my own. It had to be the switch in life, which is really important.

You have to learn that, because every time I see people that put profits above their lifestyle, they struggle.

What lifestyle do you want? What do you want it to look like? If you don’t have the life you want, and you’re not living the way you want, then go do it. Figure out a way to get what you want.

If your dream is to live on a sailboat, and it costs $60,000 a year, find a way to make $60,000 a year.

It’s not bad to have bigger goals, but don’t let them consume you.

(By the way, if anyone struggles with alcoholism, I have another channel on YouTube that’s called Talk Sober, where we go through every Thursday and have a live call about how to stay sober.)

In 2016, I started my Talk Sober channel. At the end of 2016, I had 10,761 subscribers. I have more now, and I have around a million views on it or more. And that’s in a market where people are paying $70 a click.

Now, like I said, I put people over profits, and this site is not profitable right now. It’s a little bit profitable but doesn’t make as much money as it could. That’s because I want to do my own thing here, I want to help these people more than pad my bottom line. I think it’s very important to do that.

It’s very important to say I run my business ethically. I want to run it responsibly. I want to take care of people as much as I can. Sure, some people will fall through the cracks from time to time. It happens. When you have a lot of people and you have a business, it’s going to happen.

But we try to take care of as many people as possible.

The skills I learned here were to build today what you want to make money with tomorrow.

I also learned to repurpose everything.

In April of 2015 I set up a little site where I tried to make some money. And we made $245 the first month, which I thought was pretty cool, and since then, I’ve made $145,856 off that one site.

The fact of the matter is that opportunity is literally everywhere, all the time. You just have to go find the it and tell yourself that you’re going to do it.

OfferVault and CPA Affiliate Marketing

Download Your Offervault Affiliate Marketing Report Here

Today we’re going to talk to you about CPA Affiliate Marketing and OfferVault. What kind of offers to look for, what kind of offers work, what is OfferVault, what is CPA marketing, how you can get paid, and more.

I’ve been doing affiliate marketing and CPA marketing for about 20 years now. Which means for the last twenty years, I have been making millions of dollars from the comfort of my own home promoting CPA Affiliate offers and regular affiliate offers, and some of my own offers as well.

We’re going to break it down for you and show you exactly what it takes to make a living in this industry.

What is OfferVault?

OfferVault is a site where you can search for affiliate offers. A lot of you guys have been on OfferVault.

OfferVault is not an affiliate network. So, you don’t there to sign up to promote offers. You go there to sign up to get all their cool training, to get all their cool stuff, and most importantly, to find offers.

It’s important to differentiate that.

Sometimes you’ll see offers up here in blue. These ones are usually sponsored, and they may or may not be relevant to what you’re looking for.

It’s sort of like the difference between a commercial and TV show, only it’s a little more relevant.

OfferVault does a great job of categorizing offers. When we see an offer, we can see the category its in, and we can see the network it comes from. This is very important, because the network is where you go to actually run the offer. You can’t do anything with the offer until you visit the network.

So if you see an offer you want to promote, you just click on the link. It will bring up a summary of the offer and the network.

When you go to the network, you need to create your account and get your link. That’s where your paycheck is going to come from.

OfferVault will also show you what type of payout the offer has. It might be a sale, a lead, or something else.

On the site, you see the category of the offer, then you see the date (the last time the offer was updated), then trending searches. You’ll also see some other ads as well (including my own beautiful ads).

This is a rundown of what OfferVault is. Remember, OfferVault is not where you get the offers. You need to sign up at the CPA network to get the offers.

So you would want to look at what the stipulations are that the affiliate network has, and what they’re looking for.

One of the downsides to OfferVault is that it doesn’t show a lot of direct offers. If you want to see more offers, you could use Google, or you could also use my toolbar, the Affiliate Marketing Dude Toolbar. This helps you as well, by helping you search for affiliate offers, and you can get it at www.AffiliateMarketingDude.com.

It sits up here like this, and it has a dropdown menu and a power search. You could type your keyword into the power search bar, and it will automatically take what you search for and put it in OfferVault. It’ll also go through and search affiliate programs on one of the sites that we have as an aggregator.

It’ll also go through and search for ClickBank affiliate offers related to your keyword, resell rights products,  Google Trends, and other things like that.

In addition, it gives you a member login, news stuff, and some tools on how to start affiliate marketing.

So that’s some really good stuff, and it’s something you can download for free.

What is a CPA Affiliate Network?

A CPA Affiliate Network is a place that has lots of offers.

You might find networks on OfferVault, but the networks don’t really use OfferVault. They’re on there, just like other websites might be on a search engine, such as Google.

You might think that the first thing you would need to do is to sign up for a bunch of networks. But you shouldn’t do that. Instead, you should only sign up for the network, or networks, that have the offer you want.

If you go to a network, and you tell them a specific offer you want to run, they’ll be much more likely to accept you than if you just say that you want to make money online. It’s a different kind of dialogue.

These networks want to know that you not a scammer, or spammer, or something shady.

They want to know that you’re on the up and up, because if their advertisers get pissed off, they’re not going to be a network anymore. So they have to protect themselves and make sure that you’re doing legit stuff.

Some examples of CPA Affiliate Networks are Terra Leads, MaxWeb, Max Bounty, and eLocal.

These networks have thousands of offers, and they have tracking software that generates a custom link for you to promote your offer when someone cost the required action. (CPA stands for cost-per-action).

The offers could range anywhere from dating, to weight loss, to toolbars, freebies, giveaways, downloads, and much more. And all these offers are from all different places.

These networks also make sure that you get paid through their own company, with one payment. So at the end of the day, whether you run one offer or 1,000 offers, whether you make a dollar or $500,000, your payment is going to come from the affiliate network.

Affiliate offers could pay be check, by wire, by PayPal, or some other method. I usually prefer to get paid by wire, but others might not. You might get paid multiple times a month, or monthly, or something else—that also depends on the particular network.

Now, how does the CPA network get paid?

What they do is they take a little bit off the top, usually anywhere from 5% to 10% depending on the offer. And you want to remember that you can negotiate your price.

So for example, if you go through and you’re making $3 per download, and you’re getting 1,000 downloads per day, you could ask them for $4 or 5$ per download.

Usually when I do this, I’m successful. I make the affiliate networks fight each other by telling them that one network is offering me more than another network. That’s something you can do as well.

So, this is how it works. You go to OfferVault to find the offers, and then you join the affiliate network. The affiliate network is going to do all the tracking, and they’re going to give you the links you need.

If you try to promote an offer from an affiliate program directly, you’ll find that it’s a lot more work to accomplish. Usually you have to go to an offer’s website, find their affiliates section, get find affiliate links, and even sign up for each individual offer that you want. And you may even have to do more than that.

You might be asking, “Won’t I make more money going direct, and cutting out the middleman?”

Not necessarily, because the networks have bulk rates, so they have better leveraging power with their suppliers. Since they manage so many affiliates, they can ask for more money per offer that’s promoted.

So you have to think about that. Usually the benefit of going to a CPA network far outweighs not using a CPA network.

Make sure you get a legit affiliate network, because sometimes they are shady and don’t actually pay you. MaxBounty and GlobalWide are good ones. Any that have been around a long time are usually good ones.

The next question is how many networks you should join. You should only join the network that has the offer you want.

How Do Affiliate Marketers Get Paid?

Affiliate marketers get paid a few different ways. These can be by going direct, or by going through a CPA network.

When you choose offers (whether from OfferVault or directly from affiliate networks), make sure you understand the payout type and what action is needed for you to get paid. If it’s a lead, it could be a short-form or a long-form lead.

A short form lead is usually only one field or so. They’re often email submits, where someone simply has to enter in their email.

They could also be long-form leads, which will be bigger offers that will require more up front of the customer. Certain offers like mortgages, credit cards, and loan applications are often ones that have a big, long form. These are naturally going to pay more than just collecting an email address.

Other types of payouts are pay-per-click, downloads, pay-per-sale, pay-per-trial, pay-per-impression, and pay-per-call.

Pay-per-call is a huge, huge market. These people will actually pay you just for a phone call. You get a custom phone number, which is like an affiliate link, and you can put it on your site. When people call the number, the company tracks it to see if people stay on for a certain amount of time. If they reach a set point, you get paid.

Here is a “moving assistance” offer where the payout type is pay-per-call. If someone calls and stays on the phone for 90 to 120 seconds, you get $48.

If you were interested in promoting this offer, you could perhaps find keywords for people looking up “moving checklist”, or “how to pack before moving”. And on and on we go.

When you’re promoting offers in different networks, such as Max Bounty, there will be certain types of traffic that the offers will allow.

Each offer will have a little traffic icon on the side, and if you select it, you can see which traffic is allowed.

Traffic Types

Let’s talk about these traffic types and what they mean.

There are several different traffic types, such as banners, contextual, display, email, search, social, web, direct-to-offer, mobile, incentivized, and native.

Banners are pretty simple. I can put a banner on my site, or put a banner on other sites. I could also buy banners on other sites.

Contextual is a lot like banners, but usually it’s for big networks. Just as there are affiliate networks, there are also traffic networks. I can go to Google and buy context ads on a bunch of websites. That would be contextual advertising.

With email traffic, it’s very important to know that the networks are talking about a direct-to-offer email. That means you would send your list an email that takes them directly to the offer.

This is a method you might want to take. For me, what I do is send an email that goes to my own site, blog, or landing page, and then I pitch the offer. Trust me, you should do this.

The reason is because if you do an email directly to the offer, you have to make what’s called a suppression list. This means that you need to run an email database against your database, and make sure that the people who opted out of that offer don’t continue to get your email. This is a pain in the ass.

If you do this other method here, then you’re not emailing people the offer. You’re emailing people a link to your blog for content, which will get more traffic, which will get more people to like you, which will boost up your site traffic and your search ranking. This is very important.

Search is very important. These are search ads, where you people could go to Google, type in something like “pest control” as an example, and you could send them directly to an offer.

A lot of offers don’t allow direct search or paid ads. So what do you do in those cases?

You do the same kind of thing as with email traffic. So you would have a search ad, and it would link to your blog site or landing page. Then on that site, you would pitch the offer.

Now I like to intercept all of this and build a mailing list.

What this will do is get you a better-quality score, allow you to have good content, and make you not look like a shady affiliate. There are lots of benefits to having a mailing list.

Social is direct from Facebook, or direct from Instagram, or direct from some other social media channel.

Web is basically everything we talked about here. Search, email, social, you have all of these on a website, so that’s why it’s web traffic.

You want to avoid getting traffic from direct-to-offer. So many affiliates do it this way, and they don’t have any disclaimers, and they’re making a few dollars when they could be making a lot more. And they’re breaking a lot of rules, which can get them into trouble.

If you don’t have a disclaimer that you’re an affiliate, and you just think you’re cute spamming Facebook like a lot of people do, you’re liable for it.

When you have a social post, for example, you don’t have to put an ad on a social platform and send people directly to the offer. You can give people a link to your blog or site. You’ll have some good content on your site, and then you’ll send them to the offer.

At the end of the day, always bridge the gap.

Why? Because you have control of your message, you can build a mailing list, then you don’t have to deal with all the stipulations of going direct.

Trying to take all the shortcuts end up being the long way. And It ends up being a lot harder. People will spend all day trying to save a minute.

Mobile traffic is quite simply going for a mobile audience.

When you bid on your ads, such as pay-per-click ads, you could specify if you want mobile or if you don’t want mobile. It’s very important that you look at the offer and make sure you see that little mobile phone icon that shows mobile traffic is allowed.

A lot of times if you run an offer, and it doesn’t have that phone icon and they don’t accept mobile traffic, they won’t even pay you if you get a mobile lead.

Next, we’re talking about incentivized traffic. This is when you as an affiliate give people incentives to sign up for something. For example, if you were promoting a pay-per-call offer for a rehab facility, you might tell customers that if they stay on the line for two minutes, you’ll give them $100. That would be an incentive.

Now, a lot of places don’t allow that, because obviously, that’s not a good quality lead. So, try to stay away from incentive stuff.

That’s not to say you can’t do bonuses and things like that, but you just want to be careful. I usually just provide the value on my website.

Last is native traffic. This is pretty much like contextual, where you have ads that look like content that’s natural to the site.

Landing Pages, Sites, and Direct Linking

Here are some different ways you can promote offers.

The first type is going direct. This is if you want to just promote a link directly. If you buy an ad on a search engine, you link people directly to the offer you’re promoting.

We touched on this a little bit before, when we talked about going direct to the offer versus having your blog or site. You should always send people to a site. Sometimes you can make money with a raw link, but it’s kind of risky. If you’re buying ads to that raw link, you have no control. You’re just hoping it converts, plain and simple.

If you have you own site, you have a lot more control. I know a lot of the top affiliates for these programs, and they do way better using their website or blog. They’re top affiliates because they have a website or blog with their offers.

The next is using major affiliate networks. There are several ways to promote offers using major affiliate networks. The first way is direct linking. This is if you go to an affiliate network, like Max Bounty, and you find an offer you want to promote. You would get a tracking link, and then you would put the raw link somewhere, such as on a social platform, and stick it right in my ad.

In my opinion, this is the stupidest way to do affiliate marketing.

The second way is cloaking links. This is a lot like direct linking, but it’s cloaking. To cloak a link, you take your link and run it through a link cloaker, and it makes your link shorter and easier to digest. But you would still take people directly to an offer, so it’s basically the same thing as direct linking.

You should always cloak your affiliate link, but you don’t want to do a cloak to a direct link.

The third way is to use what’s called a bridge page or a splash page. This is where you create a simple 1-3 page website, and the website’s whole idea is just to get people to your offer. You don’t really create a lot of new content, you’re just making a page that’s designed to get people to go to the offers.

You’d put your cloaked links on these sites, and they would just function as a little sales pitch for the offer.

The fourth way to use major affiliate networks is to create a blog or content site. This is where you’re actually creating content. The key here is that you want to actually create your blog or content around a market, not an offer.

So you could create a site about weight loss, not a specific keto weight loss offer. You could even create a website about keto diets if you want, but it still wouldn’t be based around a specific offer.

A lot of people try to do this offer-centered, and then you’re at the mercy of the offer. If the offer goes away, you’re out of luck. So, do it about a market, not an offer, and that way you’re building your stuff.

I like to use blogs or content sites. It’s really easy to do, and you can pair it with email marketing, and all kinds of other stuff as well.

Link Types and Creating Your Links

Now, let’s talk about link types.

A raw link, as we went through before, is just the link itself. It’s usually very long and ugly.

A cloaked link is basically a raw link, but it’s “cloaked”, or made to look a lot prettier.

A banner link is when you actually get the entire code for a banner. With this, you choose your banner, and this whole code will put a banner on your site. It will also be a tracking link.

A text link is a word or string of words that still has the code for your tracking link.

A search link is a raw link for search, but again, you don’t want to go direct.

A dynamic link is one where you can send people to a specific page, like a specific search result. You can even pre-populate a field if you want the page to automatically have something on it, such as their email address for example. Or you can get the page to automatically know the person’s location, or whatever it may be.

A contextual link is just another type of raw link, a native type of link.

When you are getting your links from major affiliate networks, you have an option to put a sub ID. This is a way to track your links even more specifically. Let’s say you’re running Google ads and Facebook ads, and they are all promoting the same offer, so you have the same affiliate link for it.

The sub ID will track your links from each source, so you’ll be able to know how much traffic is coming from Google, and how much is coming from Facebook.

Marcus’s Favorite Offer Types

Next are my favorite offers.

Browser extensions are probably my all-time favorite offers. When promoting browser extensions, you want to make sure they’re on the up-and-up, and not weird ones. Usually you can get somewhere from $1.50 to $3 per download, which is where you want to be. All you have to do is get people to download a browser extension, and you get paid. Pretty cool, right?

There can be a lot of junk extensions, so sometimes you’ve got to learn to navigate around them.

As-seen-on-TV are also some of my favorites. I like these because they pay a lot for a free trial or for a sale. For example, I could sell some onion cutter that’s $8, and I could get $20 for it. And that’s great, because I want to get paid as much as possible for the lowest barrier of entry.

Also, Fiverr offers are some of my favorites. I think Fiverr is awesome, because you could market offers for them under all the things Fiverr helps with, and they pay a good amount.

For example, in the storyboard product and animation services side, they pay $15 when someone gets a new Fiverr account. The person doesn’t even have to buy anything. They just get a new account and maybe bid on a job or something like that.

And some of them pay even more. This digital illustration offer pays $25,  e-commerce services pay $45, and things like that. And these are not very hard to market.

If you go through and get my course, you’ll learn how to find trigger words for these, and you can find your niche and do it directly.

Now, if you want me to find a niche in any of these offer types, go to www.HighTicketNiches.com, and just tell me which one you want. We’ll actually get you a domain name that’s worth money.

We’ll get you the niche market, we’ll find you the links, we’ll get you the offers, we’ll show you exactly how to run the whole thing. And if you’re struggling with affiliate marketing, I would highly recommend a high-ticket niche, because we basically hand you everything on a silver platter.

One of my other favorite types of offers is loans and credit cards.

Software-as-a-service is also really good. Now, software-as-a-service is something you would promote directly.

You could do something like ClickFunnels, or web hosting, or something like that, which is really cool.

Web hosting is another of my favorite offer types. I think we’re on track to do 5, close to 6 figures this year with web hosting. (I could do a lot more, I’ve just been super busy this year.)

Financing and investing is always good, and free credit scores are also good. You can literally get paid for having people get a free credit score.

Email and zip code offers, those are the ones like the one-field we showed earlier. Those are really easy and great. Diets, dating, high paying trials where you get paid for trials, all of those are offers I like to promote.

But this method, the stuff that I’m teaching you, is exactly what I’ve been doing for the last 19 years, and my interactive tools can show you all this.

So, if you want to learn CPA marketing from someone who’s been at this for two decades, who’s been in the trenches, who’s gone in there and done the stuff, I want to show you how my interactive tools show you all the ins and outs of how this works, so that you can get paid fast.

Because here’s the deal guys. Disclaimer: I don’t know how fast you’ll make money.

But, if you could get someone today to go through your link, to fill out a form, and get a free credit score, you could get paid $33, like, today.

(Now, it can take a while to get the money into your bank, obviously, but you know what I mean. You would make the money today.)

And if you 100 of them today, you would get $3,300 bucks today. Boom, there you go.

The Internet is a big place. A lot of people are looking for a lot of stuff.

This isn’t the run-of-the-mill junk. These are real secrets of how thousands of everyday people, just like you and me, are silently making fortunes using direct marketing, and searching, and advertising. And this could be you, too.

Passive Income with a Mailing List

Passive Income with a Mailing List

So you want to learn how to make $100 a day in passive income on the old Internet, using a simple mailing list that you could set up in like 45 minutes.

Well, you’re in the right place, because that’s what we’re going to be talking about today.

We’re going to talk about how to build a mailing list, and how to make passive income with a mailing list, even you don’t have your own product, or even if you don’t have your own website yet.

I say “yet”, because you probably need your own website. But don’t fear! We have tools to teach you how to build a website that can capture leads into a mailing list in as little as 15 minutes.

We’re specifically talking about how to build a business that makes $100 a day in passive income, with a simple mailing list that you can start building 45 minutes after you’re done reading this blog post.

This is completely possible to do. I still make money today from people who were on my mailing list back in 2009. They just filled out a simple form, and I’m still making money from them today. This is something you can do as well.

Part One: History of Autoresponders, Mailing Lists, Marketing Sequences, and Making Money When People Ask for Free Info

Ads have been largely the same for the past 100 years.

If you were to look at a 100-year-old ad in a magazine, you’d be familiar with a lot of the different elements it would have. Ads would ask you to mail in so that subscribers could get something for free. So as a consumer, you would enter in some information. They would have something like an opt in page.

It can also be called a squeeze page. We know that the idea of a squeeze page is to get people from an ad or a site to put their name and email in a box, and then they go on their list. So the idea of this ad was to squeeze all the people from the magazine that are interested in this topic into a list.

So as a consumer, you might enter in your information. Maybe the ad wants you to mail in a coupon from the ad. Let’s talk about what would happen after that.

There would be a big mail house, where your mail and all the other mail goes from people who subscribed to the ad.

People would look at the addresses on the mail, and they would build a list out of all those addresses. They would have a list of people who were interested in that sort of thing.

Now, the advertisers would do what’s called a sequence. On the first day, they might send out a letter. So they would write letters, fold them up, stick them in envelopes, and mail them out to everyone who mailed in. If there were 100,000 people who mailed in, they would do this 100,000 times. That’s for day one.

On day two, they might send an informational report that was requested (perhaps promised when you entered your information in the first place), along with sales information.

Then the next letter they send, they might say that they noticed you didn’t buy anything, and they might suggest that you buy something now. Maybe the next time they send you testimonials.

And what would happen is they would take these people through a sequence, which they gathered from their mailing list.

That’s where mailing lists come from. This is where marketing started.

People often forget the basics of marketing. They forget that it’s all about getting people to take action. Marketing is about getting people to request information, getting people to a mailing list, where you can then send them an offer.

Ads themselves haven’t changed much, but the way that people see ads has certainly changed a lot. You’ve seen what happened when an advertiser would get people to subscribe, but think about what would happen before that.

In the old days, if you were an advertiser, first you had to design and create the ad. Then you had to pay a fortune to get the ad into circulation, perhaps in a magazine. It would take a month to run, and you wouldn’t even know if you’d get anything out of it. You’d pay whether people read the ad or not. And if someone didn’t like the ad, they could just rip it right out of the magazine.

You might do this 100 times with 100 different magazines. You wouldn’t know if anyone was interested. You just knew that people would walk by, and maybe they would take a look.

That’s not the way that ads work today. With internet marketing, we can target our audience in an insane way.

You can almost be so specific as to just marketing to a single person. You can literally market to whoever you want.

Making Money with a Mailing List Today

So you want to make $100 a day? That’s roughly $4 every hour. And that comes out to about $36,000 a year, which isn’t bad for something you could make from just a little mailing list.

Here’s what it’s going to look like.

Let’s say you have an audience. You have to figure out who your audience is. Perhaps they’re people who are interested in growing tomatoes.

You might see people on Google, or Facebook, or YouTube, all these people who are and learning about growing tomatoes. They watch videos on YouTube, and they search on Google for something like “Grow tomatoes” or “Why do my tomato plants keep dying”, or something like that.

Let’s say you were to offer these people something for free. Perhaps a free tomato book.

If you have an ad that 100 of these people see, how many of them do you think will want your free tomato book? Probably all of them.

How many will actually put their name and email on for it? Probably 30 to 60 percent of those people.

So let’s say you make an opt in page. You give people the option to request a free tomato book, if people send in their name and email. It might take you literally 20 minutes to make. Maybe 45 minutes or an hour If you’re new and slow.

Remember this: all ads work at the right price.

You might want to consider paying for traffic to get people to this site. You probably wouldn’t have to pay much, maybe 15 cents a visitor for people who are specifically looking up how to grow tomatoes. This will still be way less than the guy who spent $100,000 putting ads in old magazines.

And if you say in your ad that people can get a free tomato book, and they don’t want a tomato book, they’re probably not going to click. So you’re only going to pay for people who actually respond.

Maybe you could get 30 percent of your traffic to opt in on your site. If you get 100 visitors, that means it costs you $15. And out of 100 visitors, you get 30 to opt in. That means it’s costing you 50 cents for each person to opt in. Can you make 50 cents off a targeted tomato person who wants to grow more tomatoes? Yeah, I think you can.

You’re going to do this with an autoresponder. This takes all of your names and emails and puts them in a big database. Then  you can go through this database and do exactly what other sequences do that we talked about before. It lets you send messages out to people on your list.

These can cost money, but they’re not usually a lot. To get started, it probably costs around $19 a month.

Now you would make your sequence. On day one, you might give your customers their free tomato report. That will get people back to your site. Day two you give them something else, and day three you give them something else. On day four, you might point out a product to them about tomatoes.

Remember that you set this up so that everything is automated.

You just set it one time, and new people will come in and get the new messages. You can do broadcast. You can do e-mails. You can do whatever you want.

It’s important that you understand this concept. It’s not just about a site, and an autoresponder, and this and that. It’s about understanding the core principle of what you’re doing.

You are building a database of people that are interested in a certain topic. Now that you have that database of people, you can do whatever you want with them (within reason, obviously, staying ethical and following the rules).

All ads work at the right price, if you can do it right.

So again, the question is this: If I get 30 percent of my traffic onto my list, and I’m spending $15 to do that, that means I’m paying about 50 cents per person. Can I make more than 50 cents per person? That’s the question.

Part Two: Mapping Out the Content / Offer Machine

So now you have a list, and a big database of people from your list. Your list is all of these tomato people.

What you want to do is map something out with what’s called a brain map. It’s a mixture of content and offers. You want to go through and brainstorm. Ask yourself: “If I were interested in tomatoes, what would I want to see?”

There are a bunch of possibilities.

People might like to see tips about tomatoes, or gardening tips, or tools, or information about seeds, or a growth chart, or tips about canning tomatoes, or techniques for cooking tomatoes.

So now you have all this content. Your next step is to pair the content with offers.

For example, think of your gardening tips. You might not know a lot of gardening tips yourself, but you could go buy some gardening books, perhaps on Clickbank. You go find some tips out of a book there, and you could send the tips to your list.

You want to be casual and sincere about it. You want to be friendly and really talk to your list about what you’re sending out. You might send an email like this:

“Here’s a tip I found for you. You should plant your tomato in the sun. I planted my tomato in the sun, and I found out that sometimes the shade affected the growth of my tomato. I used to have my tomato under a tree. Now it’s not under a tree, and it’s as big as can be. This works really well. Here’s a picture of my tomato. I got this tip from this book over here, if you want to check it out.”

And then you can give your affiliate link.

Pretty basic, right? “I got this tip from this book. If you like this tip, there’ll be more tips over there in the book.”

In another email, you can say, “Here are some tools. I have the best five gardening tools. You need to have this, this, this, this, and this. (Affiliate link, affiliate link, affiliate link, affiliate link, affiliate link.)

Now, your followers are going to say thank you, because you gave them all of this great information. They’re going to actually click and buy stuff.

You could take this further.

Let’s say you send them information about seeds. Maybe there’s an affiliate program for seeds. Or maybe you want to get the seeds yourself and ship them out. You could do that, or dropship, or send them books, or info products, or whatever you like. Info products are usually going to be the most profitable and the lowest risk.

If you tell your list about canning tomatoes, you could do canning supplies from somewhere like Amazon Affiliate. For things like fertilizer or garden beds, you could do Home Depot coupons or gift cards. There are all kinds of offers you could send out.

You could make a real living at this. Later down the line, you could come up with your own tomato book. You could test out a bunch of tomatoes and build your own business, and you could probably make a good living in the tomato market. A lot of people are obsessed with these tomatoes.

And remember this.

If I get someone on my list, and I give them good tips and really take care of them, is there anyone out there that doesn’t think I can make 50 cents over the course of a year with that person?

How many of you think that if you only paid 50 cents to get someone on your list, you could turn a profit?

Then why aren’t you doing it?

What’s stopping you from having a business like this?

Part Three: The Traffic Recycling Loop

So here’s what the feedback loop looks like.

You have the people in your niche come to your site, and they want to check out what you have for growing tomatoes. On your site, you have a picture of a big tomato, and you tell people to put their name and email in a box.

So they do that, and they get on your list. The people who get on your list are the ones that we’re interested in. They come to your thank you page.

Now, this is very important. Because your thank you page is where you want to make your 50 cents back. So what you do is this: you put your best offer on your thank you page. Maybe your best offer is some as-seen-on-TV tomato offer. That will be the best converter.

The next best thing might be a toolbar, or something free. Something that pays decent and has a low barrier of entry. Maybe it pays you between $2 and $5.

Now that you have an offer on your thank you page, you’re going to focus on creating posts.

These are going to have all of the content that you created in Part Two. So you might make posts on garden tips, or posts about tools. You could make posts about seeds, or growth charts, or cooking tomatoes. You can make different posts about all of these things.

On these posts, you’ll also have offers. I find it best to make the offer fit what the post is about. So if it’s about tools, offer some tools. If it’s about information, put a book. If it’s about seeds, give seeds. Try to make it fit.

Now, you’re going to mail these posts out. They’ll go out automatically in your autoresponder, and then boom, you’re going to make money as they come back.

And here’s the cool part. You’re going to build content while making money with your list. The search engines will start to pick this content up. People will start to buy stuff, and it’s just going to start to take off, if you stick with it. All of these clicks are going to start to multiply.

Part Four: The Numbers Game

At this point, you know what you’re supposed to be doing. But you may still be asking how you’re going to do it.

This is all done with WordPress, with a plugin that’s in your member’s area for MarcusMentor.me. The plugin is called Funnel Voodoo. It literally turns your WordPress into a funnel.

“Marcus, I don’t know how to set all this up. Should I use a blog? Should I use a click funnel? Should I use Clickbank? Should I use Builderall? Should I use HTML? Should I just go out and do the rain dance, and hope money falls?”

What I like to do is use WordPress.

If you guys are in one of my courses, or the MarcusMentor.me, you get all the plugins that make this work. So if you don’t have any tools, and you don’t have anyone to help you, go to MarcusMentor.me and sign up. It costs around $2 a day.

You get a free Affiliate Marketing Dude T-shirt, and you get an Affiliate Marketing Dude book that walks you through everything.

And we’re going to give you all my custom WordPress plugins. These aren’t white labeled or from other people. These are custom plugins that I had a developer make according to my specifications, so that you can do all of this.

You have to look at all of this objectively.

So many people are focused on getting a quick result right now, that they don’t realize the result can happen fast. They They just have to do the right stuff right. They spent so much time dreaming about a result, and trying to get the result. They get obsessed with the chase, and they don’t get obsessed with the actual work.

But if you take the approach we’ve covered here, you’re going to start to make more money. Your content is going to grow, and it will show up in the search engines. Everything will start to compound.

People put their heads in the clouds when it comes to internet marketing. And that’s why they don’t make money—because  they’re focused on the stuff that doesn’t work.

People often come to me and tell me that they try other methods, and then they ask me to look at their sites.

I do, and I usually tell them that their sites aren’t good. And then they quit. They never run traffic. They never even test anything. And they never really build it. And this is why they don’t get success.

People don’t understand the value of a market. They don’t understand that a tomato guy on your list is worth 50 cents. And if you make one sale, you break even.

Everything is a numbers game.

If you know you can make $4 on every tomato person per year, how many tomato people do you want to get on your list? As many as you can. Once you get to thinking this way, you just have to go make it happen. You can do this.

Simple Money Getting Affiliate Site in 45 Minutes

Simple Money Getting Site in 45 Minutes

Today we’re going to talk about how to build “money pages” on your website. And we’re going to do this by setting up a site live, so that you can see how it works.

The domain we’re going to use is www.SimpleMoneyPage.com, and this is where you’re going to get all the tools that I reference here.

These “money pages” are designed to be used as pages that bridge your offers and your mailing list.

These are not designed to be ran directly on paid search engines. These are for direct advertising, for things like solo ads, banner ads, linking from your blog, linking from a website—linking from anywhere and everywhere that you can get traffic, even on social platforms.

The Flow of Your Site

The most important features of your site will be:

The opt in page. You’ll be able to set this up using the tools we’re going over today.

The thank you page. This is where you’ll thank your audience for joining. You’ll also have some content and other related offers.

Your mailing list. Once your audience fills out their name and email, they’ll be on your mailing list. You can send them back to posts on your blog with an offer.

Making Your Money Getting Site

Now that you know what’s going to happen, you can set up our site.

Web Hosting, Domain, and WordPress Install

The very first thing you need is web hosting. If you don’t have this, I would urge you to go over to www.GoHubSite.com. This will walk you through how to get hosting the right way. It will cost around $70 per year. The host we use is BlueHost.

Once you get your BlueHost account, you go into the BlueHost control panel.

Then, if you haven’t yet, it’s time to get your domain. You can do this directly in BlueHost as well.

Now once you get your host, the way that I teach you, you’re going to have what’s called a name server. And once you get that, the name server is the same for any and all of your sites.

So you could buy a website, and a domain name, and you could start setting it up instantly, which is what we’re doing here.

I bought this domain name www.SimpleMoneyPage.com a couple of days ago. It’s ready to go. All I have to do is go over to my host’s control panel and add the domain. So you can do the same with your own domain, if you already have it.

Once your domain is ready, you’ll be prepared to actually create your site. You’ll do this by installing WordPress in your control panel. You go to the ‘My Sites’ page and select ‘Create Site’.

You’ll choose your site name, which will be taken from the domain that you’re using. Our site name will be called Simple Money Page.

Once you finish here, WordPress will be installed. It might take a few minutes, but it shouldn’t take more than 15 at the max.

Customizing WordPress

When WordPress finishes installing, that means your site is created. Now you just have to go in and flesh it out.

You can start by choosing your theme.

What I’ve provided for you is a theme called Easy Funnel. This allows you to make a funnel in your WordPress quickly and easily.

You can download this theme onto your computer, and then you’ll upload it here into your WordPress site.

Once you upload the theme, make sure to activate it.

Then, you go to ‘Settings’ and select the ‘General’ page.

Make sure that everything looks the way you want it to, then continue to the ‘Reading’ page.

Select your homepage to be listed as a static page, and change the homepage to “Sample Page” in the dropdown menu.

Next, you’ll find your Sample Page in the ‘Pages’ section, and then you’ll edit your sample page.

Type in whatever you’d like on this page. If you have something to offer your customers, you could describe it here.

When you’re done, hit ‘Update’.

The next step is to add a thank you post. When people subscribe to your site, they’ll be directed to this post.

Under the ‘Post’ section, you can select ‘Add New’, then enter a title for your thank you post. You’ll add the rest of the content later.

When you’re finished, click on ‘Update’, and you should see your updated page.

So now you have two pages created. One is your homepage, and one is your thank you page (which is actually a post).

Optin Box

Now, you’ll create an opt in box for your homepage. There are several ways you can do this.

One is by using an autoresponder. I like to use Aweber.

We also have opt in-maker tools you can use, if you’re in the Simple Sites Big Profits course or the MarcusMentor.me program.

If you use my tool, you can enter the URL to the thank you page that you created. Then you just put in your bullet points, whatever you’re giving to your customers.

This tool will generate the code for you. You can copy and paste it back into the code for your site homepage.

You should now have a page with an opt in box on it. You can download any image with it that you want.

You can edit this opt in box by going back into the edit page for your homepage. If you edit it using the visual display, it makes it a little bit easier. When you’re done, hit ‘Update’.

Next you’ll go back to your thank you page to edit the content. Here is where you’ll say thanks to your customers for subscribing. You can also tell them that since they subscribed to your mailing lists, you’ll be sending them emails from time to time.

And this is why this is a money page. It’s where you can make some money right up front.

You want to give your customers things that are relevant. If I’m giving them a workout guide, then you’d want to put an offer for workout stuff, or weight loss, or whatever it may be. But you also want to give them things that make you money.

Whichever offer you choose, you’ll have to be a member of an affiliate program that provides the offer. Your program may have something to help you out in making your offer more attractive.

For example, for this site, I’m recommending web hosting and a domain name. I’m part of a hosting affiliate program, and they give me a code for a box that I can place right on my site, so that people can search for domain names right on my page.

When they search and find one that’s available, they can buy it through my affiliate link, and I get paid when they sign up for hosting.

You can add other offers on your page, too, especially if you’re an affiliate for other programs. For example, I’m an affiliate for Aweber, and my customers might need this autoresponder, so I can provide that for them here, too.

So, as you guys can see, this is truly a money page. And it’s probably a lot easier than you thought!

If you send out offers and you’re an affiliate, you must remember to put an affiliate disclaimer.
