Oh hi there. It’s Marcus a.k.a. the affiliate marketing dude in this video. I’m going to teach you exactly how to get instant PayPal money. That’s right. You can actually do something right now and get paid. Right now. Pretty cool.

Right. This is a little tactic I learned back in the year 2000 2001 when I was literally living in the living room of a mobile home that my brother and I rented which we shared with a bunch of drug addicts. I didn’t even have my own room. I didn’t even have enough money to get lunch every day. So I lived on a giant burrito and a coke every day. But I learned this tactic that allowed me to make lots of money millions of dollars over the years very very fast using PayPal and I can show you exactly what I did how easy it can be and how you can get started right now. There’s three main ways that you can get paid on PayPal instantly and actually get the money right now. That’s right. You can go use an A.T.M. card that they give you

or you could even go and drop it to your bank account literally instantly. And we’re going to go over these three ways we’re just gonna hop over to my backyard office here that I had built in my backyard so I can get some work done. And what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna show you how these three methods work and how you can start walking in the trees and how you can start making money with PayPal. The first two are pretty obvious pretty basic you might have heard of them before and then the third one is a bonus one which is what I used back in the year 2000 to start making

lots and lots of money. Now you can do this it’s not that hard to do. It doesn’t take a lot of skill. It doesn’t take a lot of work. You just got to get in there and you got to be deliberate about what you do. Now the first category here are the categories where you get paid for your time. This is where you would go out and you would take surveys and get paid for surveys you would do reviews on sites you’d get paid for the reviews you’d test different products and software and you get paid for testing out those products and software. Now these are good and there’s lots of people who make money doing this. But the problem is that it’s limited by your man hours the time you have to put into this is very very steep and the payout is very

very low. So while a lot of these companies will pay you to do certain things they don’t pay you a lot of money which means that your instant PayPal money isn’t going to be that much which is kind of a pain in the butt. Pretty easy pretty basic. However again you are limited. So this one is very limited. Now let’s jump over to number two which is services and selling things. This is something that I like doing. This is something I’ve done for years. Were you going to actually sell products or services online and get paid instantly via

PayPal. Let’s say you know how to set up wordpress blogs and you offer help to people and you charge him ninety seven dollars to help them with their blog or something like that. You can get that ninety seven dollars in your paypal instantly and perform the service really cool and it’s a skill that you could learn in a couple of days or maybe you’re good at making images or removing the background from images or different things like that. You can also go out and sell those as well. Now you can do these two different ways one way is direct. This is where you would have a Web site or just a PayPal link and you go drum up some business on forums and search engines and videos and other places like Facebook groups and things like that where you drum up business and you can

help people out. The second way is through sites like fiver where you could actually go on there and post your services for sale or your products for sale and you’ll tap into their customer database and get lots of sales there’s lots of people who make a lot of money doing this fiber example quick skills that some of us would laugh at because they’re so easy we do them on a day to day basis anyway. So that’s a really good way to go about this. All you have to do is take a look out there and see what the services are it could be anything from recording your voice editing an image making a little video fixing some kind of PBF document or something very simple like that. Something I bet you guys would all know how to do anyway. And you can get paid literally

instantly in a really really cool way for doing. Services that aren’t that difficult and it’s not that hard to make like 100 dollars a day doing this again if you want a list of some of these services that you could provide that I think are valuable. Now number three is my favorite which is a bonus method which is a really cool way to get instant Pay Pal money for doing like very little work and build like a recurring revenue stream because this is actually going to live on the Internet a long time and you’ll get paid over and over and over and it will show you how you can make even more money. Now that method is using what I call resell rights products now resale rights products are products like drop shipping but you don’t ship anything right. This is where you actually buy the rights to a product or a book or a software course or anything like that. You buy the rights to it and you actually sell it. Now that might sound daunting but some of these you can get as little as like ninety nine cents and you

own the rights to a product that you could sell for like 15 bucks or 10 bucks or whatever it is. So let’s show you guys how this works. First of all let’s say you were going to go out there and you were going to find something in a market like credit repair resell rights or something like that. Right. So we go out there and we’re like OK now I can go and I could buy the resell rights for a credit repair book or course or something like that. You could see some of these like three bucks five bucks and on and on we go. You could take a look at other sites there’s lots of them that have all kinds of different credit repair reports and tools and books and things like that and we could actually find one that looks really good like this

here repair your credit. And this one is 750 different credit repair methods or something like that and you could see by the table and contents. Table of Contents that they cover quite a bit of things they got a bunch of reports and everything like this. Now you can see here that I could actually purchase this for nine dollars and ninety nine cents and they are saying that the suggested retail price is twenty seven dollars. So like if I saw one of these that covers my cost and even gives me profit if I sell 100 of them I make twenty seven hundred dollars and you know it only cost me still the same ten dollars because once I buy at once I own it really really cool you could do this in any niche from credit repair to taxes to whatever it is. And let me

show you how this works and how we map it out. First of all you have your resale rights product which is your credit repair. The first thing you want to do is buy that in your niche. OK really cool. And you don’t even have to have a niche you just need to buy something like this and then go out there. Right. And now what we’re going to do now that we own the product we know that every dime we get is going to come to us instantly and paypal i sell it right now I get the PayPal I can go spend it right now. Now the secret to making this work is the fact that you need traffic you need traffic to the site. Now the resale rights product actually gives you a sales page and a Web site. OK. So we can actually go

through and then give me the Web site you can upload on your host and everything like that very easy to do I teach you that here on the channel. And then once we get that all we need to do is drive traffic to it. Now the way you’re going to want to drive traffic is by going to places like Quora Quora you can go to places like forums you can go to places like facebook groups. You can put things on Pinterest and on and on we go. Now the cool thing about this is that we can go on these Facebook groups on these forums and everything and we could just ask answer and we could just answer questions that people have about the books. We get the book. We read it. We learn about it and then we take all the table and contents and

things like that and we start to answer questions that people have about repairing their credit. Super super easy. The information’s already there in the book. All we’re doing is finding the answer posting it to a question online. And then of course we drive people back to the site to buy the book and every time they buy it we get profit. Now I’ve done this lots of times I’ve made a lot of money with a simple Chile recipes book just by posting cool Chile recipes out there on the Internet and Pinterest and Facebook and everything like that and also paid ads. And I got traffic and I sold a lot of copies of it and I’ve done this with many different niches many different markets. And it’s super super easy now. What we want to do is want to look at this and say OK so

we got this we got our traffic methods we got our book we’re going to take our traffic method. So when you answer a question on a forum or on a Facebook group or whatever right you’re going to send people to the order page the order page takes you literally like 10 seconds to set up they click the button they buy it via paypal you get the money instantly then you can actually edit the product or edit the book or thank you page or whatever and you could promote other stuff. Right. This is where it gets really good because I’m going to get instant PayPal money but then I can actually go to offer vault and I could say well maybe there’s like credit repair offers or we don’t even have to type offers we’ll just get credit repair right and credit repair. I can actually

see here that this one is a credit repair and I get paid when people call a phone number. Here’s one where people apply for credit repair people get credit repair leads and you could see these pay one hundred dollars forty five dollars forty two and on and on we go. So if I get you know a couple of sales a day and a couple leads a day I’m making some really really good money. And it’s really easy to do. All I need to do is help people out online with info that they’re looking for really cool. You could even go out there and you can find like chili recipes resell rights and you can find a book about chili recipes like this is the one I use the 600 chili recipes is an exact book and I sold them for 11 dollars and ninety nine

cents I sold them all day every day. Really really cool. Retail store arbitrage. How does it work. Well usually people will come to somewhere like the Dollar Tree here and then they’ll buy some things for about a buck and try to sell them on amazon or ebay for a profit whatever the profit is that’s what they get to keep in their pocket. Now the problem with this is that you end up with a bunch of junk and sometimes it takes a long time to sell and your profit margins are very very slim. So what I want to do today is talk to you about something called digital arbitrage where you could get paid for bridging the gap between a marketplace online sitting in the comfort of your own home making a fortune. Come on let me show you how it works. OK. So follow with me here. A guy browsing Facebook is pretty much worth. Nothing. A guy. Looking in Instagram.

Again. Pretty much nothing. Even a guy looking at the Google homepage. Yeah. It’s worth nothing. Now for you and me that means that we can get traffic really really inexpensively which is a good thing. Right.

Now compare that with a guy who’s searching on google for something like mortgages or refinance or credit repair. Now that guy is worth a lot of money. The question is is how do we take these people that’s worth nothing and tournament a big profit. Let’s go in the backyard office and I’ll show you exactly how to do just that.

OK. So on one hand over here we have the guy who is looking at Facebook browsing Google looking at Instagram YouTube whatever he’s doing. Now this guy is not worth any money to advertisers.

However over here you have the big money terms. These are the big money terms like mortgage refile lawsuit credit repair health and all these other things.

So this is worth a lot of money. This stuff over here.

Yeah not so much but the big secret here is that you could literally increase the value of this guy here instantly for free.

He which means that I could buy all the advertisements I want super super dirt cheap build a little Web site about a topic that’s expensive and drive him over to it by getting him to click on something that’s related to what the Web site’s about. Well let me show you how this works.

OK. So let’s say you’re just messing around on Facebook minding your own business and all of a sudden bam you see this ad for an all inclusive adults only vacation whatever. An adult. Vacation is we’re not going to get into that but you see this ad and you’re like OK Hey check this out.

This is a good look an ad I think I’ll click this because I want to be on the beach too. And you want a vacation. Now you go through and you click this ad and what it’s going to do is it’s going to take you to a site that has different links for different types of vacations. Pretty cool right now.

Once you click on these different vacations you’re gonna be taken to search results which have sponsored listings for the various different vacations so follow with me here.

Guy minding his own business on Facebook not thinking anything about vacations season ad about vacations. Guy on Facebook not worth much vacation guy searching for vacations. Yes that’s worth a lot. So now we’ve just increased the value of the traffic instantly by going broad showing ads to lots of people and funneling out the people who are interested in something that’s worth a lot of money. Now you could do this with a very simple one page site or a blog or something like that or even a search arbitrage thing if you can work it out with the search engine companies.

Now the cool thing about this is they do it on Facebook. They do it on Instagram. They do it literally everywhere and you can do it for any topic. For example let’s say you have a catchy ad about hate. What people don’t know about refinancing or something like that or maybe how you can lose weight ways to save money or credit cards that offer zero percent interest. These are words that are very expensive and all you need to do is create a simple little site with information based on what was in the ad and teaching them different things with some advertisements affiliate offers and even content sponsored links. Let’s dive even further into this and clicking on page transparency. What this is going to do is it’s actually going to show you all the ads in their ad library and you could see that this company the Yahoo.

Company is actually running tons and tons of ads for expensive things from jerseys to cabinets and all kinds of other things expensive cars and on and on we go. They have thousands of ads running all the time now. Well big companies like that are making millions of dollars a year. We could actually go in and we could do this in a very simple way much like the arbitrage method only we don’t have to touch any product. We don’t have to do anything. We just link the person searching with the expensive topic and it’s very easy. We can actually see how much traffic they’re getting. And guess what. It’s a lot. He could see other sites that are doing the same thing. You could take a look at their Alexa ranking to see how much traffic they’re getting.

You can even go through and see where people are coming from before they visit this site. You can see they’re doing a lot of Facebook ads to Boola ads which is a content network. Google Yahoo and more. So this works like crazy. And if you do it right you could literally arbitrage your way into lots of money. Now you’ve got to be sure to follow the terms and conditions of each search engine. Sometimes Ad Sense is a little strict on what you can can and cannot do. Sometimes other search engines are strict sometimes affiliate offers are as well. But I think if you get this concept you can start using it to make lots of money. Today, you’re going to learn 31 killer free traffic methods to get tons of free traffic to your site. What could be better than free traffic?

 

I’ve been getting free traffic for the last 20 years, getting over 100 million views to my websites, my blogs, my videos, and all kinds of things like that. And I’m going to show you the exact methods I’ve used to do it.

 

1. Search Engines

When you type something into a search engine, you can see how many people are searching for a particular term. You can also see how much competition there is for that term. You may find some words that have little or no competition, and these are the words that you’re shooting for. You could create some web content that corresponds with these terms, and you could start to rank for these kinds of terms pretty easily. This is what’s called SEO, or search engine optimization. This will allow you to get free rankings all day. Don’t forget the power of other search engines besides Google.

 

2. Guest Blogging

If you have a new blog, and your website is new, and Google doesn’t know about you yet, and you don’t have any backlinks, and you put a post up, you’re probably not going to get ranked. But you could put a post on a bigger, more popular blog, and you can actually get ranked a lot higher that way. You can go to Google and find great guest blogging opportunities. A lot of places are looking for content.

 

3. Press Releases

When current events are happening, you can cover them in a press release. There are places on the web that you can go to put out a press release. Sometimes you can do these for free, and sometimes they cost a little bit of money. (But since this is about free traffic, we’re focusing on the free aspect.) It should get some traction, and it will start to go around the web.

 

4. Social Media

Social media is incredible for free traffic, but people don’t use it in the right way. They tend to spam people and get them to buy stuff, instead of using it to provide real value. You could do a lot of different things with social media. You could build up a Facebook group, an Instagram account, all kinds of things. All you have to do is stick to your niche, and provide good value based on the keywords you want.

 

 

5. YouTube

YouTube is another incredible source for free traffic. It’s the second most popular search engine in the world. There’s a lot of traffic on YouTube. You could use YouTube to get traffic in any niche. One of the benefits of YouTube is also getting ranked on Google.

 

7. Reddit

Reddit can be extremely powerful. It gets a lot of traffic, and it even shows up in Google. They’re very strict about not being spammy, and not being over the top with sales. But if you do it right, you can still go in there and make a lot of money. You can join a conversation that’s already happening, or you can start your own conversation.

 

7. BuzzSumo

This is a place that you can put your articles. You can also see the top articles that are getting shared, and you can pattern something after that. Or, you can go in and comment on articles, and even create your own.

 

8. BuzzFeed

Buzzfeed is similar to BuzzSumo. It’s a place where you can go and rank your content. Again, you can use the trending results to figure out what’s currently working.

 

9. Quora

Quora is a question and answer site. This is really good for free traffic. You probably see Quora results all the time when you search on Google. You can go on Quora and see what people are posting, and you might notice that people provide answers and then link to their own stuff. It’s a very popular site with a lot of traffic as well.

 

10. Mix.com

Formerly StumbleUpon, this is another place where you can post your content. Their traffic ranking is a little lower than some of the others we’ve seen, but a lower traffic rating usually means lower competition. So it might be even easier to get traffic from this site than some others. You can post your content on there, and they’ll link to your site, but they’ll display it in little snippets. It’s kind of like Pinterest, but it’s more content-based. It’s like a content organizer.

 

11. Hub Pages

Hub Pages, formerly known as Squidoo, is a reall cool place. You can post your articles on there. But you have to be careful that you don’t duplicate your content. You can also see the various articles that are trending. You can even get paid to post your content (but, you can make more money doing what I teach you as well). You can even comment, and they actually allow you put a link in your comment. So, all you have to do is comment, and you might get some traffic.

 

12. Forums

Forums are very cool and very easy to get traffic. When you post in forums, make sure you don’t just spam. Don’t be a jerk. Do it the right way. Maybe you can give some cool tips, and then link back to your site. If you do it the right way, this has the potential to make money literally right now. And if you’re actually active on forums, you will learn so much about your market.

 

13. Files

How can you convert your content into files? Here’s an example. Let’s say that you give a theme away to a bunch of people. A theme is a zip file. That theme could get you free traffic every single day. You could post your themes on theme sites as a giveaway, and you can even get all kinds of WordPress users that want a theme for a specific topic. All you have to do is make a simple zip file.

 

 

14. Web Directories

There are several different web directories out there. You can go onto the internet and search for lists of web directories. Some of them are paid. We used to use the Yahoo directory a lot, but it went away. Still, you can always get traffic this way.

 

15. Social Bookmarking

Social bookmarking is where you go and put your link on different social sites. You can just go and find sites that are already getting the traffic you want, and you can put a little comment, or bookmark, on it.

 

16. Facebook Groups

You can find Facebook groups about any topic. You can even start your own Facebook group. I’ve met people who’ve created Facebook groups, and those groups have thousands and thousands of members. They’re easy to run and easy to get, if you do them the right way. The key is that your users are going to create your traffic.

 

17. Article Marketing

Article marketing is basically the same as blogging. Only, you’re not blogging on your site, you’re blogging on other sites. Why would you do that? Because the other sites have power. When you make a blog post on a new website, it won’t have much rank. But if you post on a more popular website, it will be ranked more highly. You can also post your articles on a site like EzineArticles.com. You can start a membership (it’s free to join), and you can just start posting your content, and it will link back to your site. Again, go for low-competition keywords you know you can rank for.

 

18. Interviews

You can use interviews to provide value about a topic. People love to do interviews. You can interview top people in your niche, and with that, you can get them to check out your stuff and even post it to their own channels. Sometimes if you do an interview with someone, they’ll send it to their people as well. This allows you to find people from an audience you might not have had before.

 

 

19. PDF Marketing

A good way to do this is to turn your content into a PDF and give it away. People love PDFs. I don’t know why, but they’re obsessed with them. They love to download PDFs. You can make a lot of money with PDFs. I get people every day that join my mailing list because of PDFs. They’re not even that hard to do, and they can even rank.

 

20. Pinterest / Images

When you go to Google and look at images, you’ll see that for certain search terms, a lot of the images may come from Pinterest. You can actually get traffic with Pinterest using this method. Pinterest even tells you how many people view an image, which is really cool. And usually you can also click on the images and they’ll take you to a site. Again, make sure that you’re going after something that’s very targeted, a keyword that you know you can get.

 

21. Infographics

Infographics are really great. People actually search for infographics, which means you can go out and see what kind of infographics people are searching for. There are infographics about literally everything, and you can make them about anything.

 

22. SlideShare

This is a place where people share their PowerPoint slides and get traffic. People can go onto the site and search for slides of all kinds of things.

 

23. LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a great place to get traffic as well. This is content site. You can see different things that people are searching for on LinkedIn, and you can see that their content actually starts to rank. So you could create articles on LinkedIn that have to do with your niche.

 

24. Twitter

Twitter is a powerful social media platform, and a great way to get free traffic. It’s a good place to start getting involved in conversations that are talking about various things. You can comment and join those conversations, and you can link people back to your content that way as well.

 

 

25. Blog Commenting

Blog commenting is just what it sounds like: it’s where you go to blogs and you leave comments. Go to blogs in your niche, start commenting, and start adding value.

 

26. Classified Ad Websites

You can go to classified ad websites, such as Craigslist. Whatever you do, make sure they’re good sites. Be very careful with Craigslist, because it’s very easy to get kicked off, if you’re not following the terms and conditions. No matter what you’re doing, always follow the terms and conditions.

 

27. Podcasting

Podcasting is a good one. You could set up your own podcase. It’s very easy to do. If you put on a podcast and just interview people, you’ll start to get known. You’ll start to grow. There are lots of other ways you can integrate podcasting, but this is a solid way to start.

 

28. Email Lists

Email lists are another way you can get free traffic. You could build an email list, and you could email people to come back to your site. We teach more about this in the Simple Sites course at www.SimpleSitesBonus.com.

 

 

29. Shareable Content

Make content that people can share. Whether it’s a PDF, whether it’s an article, whatever it may be. For example, if you have a good PDF, you could share it in a Facebook group. Or, you could share it on a YouTube channel. You could share it wherever you want, really. You could list it in Google, you could put it on Quora, there are a lot of different directions you can take. All of them can get you some valuable free traffic.

 

30. Integration Marketing

If you have your own product, you can actually integrate with another company, and you can start getting featured on their thank you pages and their opt in pages.

 

31. Lists

Lists are incredible. What kind of lists do people want? People want lists on all kinds of things. You can go on Google and see what lists people are looking for. You can even just search on Google to find keywords you want to target, and then make lists that target those keywords. Once you make your list, you can make it into a PDF file, or an Excel file, or something else, and you can start to get traffic with it.

Today we’re going to show you the ins and outs of affiliate marketing. This will be a super simple training.

 

Affiliate Marketing: How it Works

 

First off, what is affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing is where a company sells products and/or services, and it pays an affiliate commission to an advertiser so that he or she can promote these offers as well.

 

An affiliate commission is also known as a payout.

 

If there’s a company that you want to be an affiliate of, the company will add you as an affiliate, and it will give you a special tracking link. All you have to do is market this tracking link wherever you want.

 

You can put it on Facebook, YouTube, send it in an email, pretty much whatever you want to do with it.

 

This tracking link sends people to the product or the company. And when someone buys the product, you get a commission.

 

When you sign up for an affiliate network, they usually ask you if you are one of two kinds of people: a publisher or an advertiser.

 

The advertiser is the one who is advertising their own product. This is where the transactions take place, and where the publisher gets paid. The publisher is someone who publishes things to get traffic. They end up sending customers to the advertiser.

 

Until you sell your own products, you’re probably going to be a publisher.

 

 

In traditional affiliate marketing, you go directly to a company that sells products, they give you a link for an offer, you promote it, and you get a check from the company.

 

 

CPA Marketing

 

There is also something called CPA affiliate marketing, where can get paid to send people to links when they perform a specific action. More specifically, you can get paid when someone performs a CPA, or cost-per-action.

 

In this case, a company doesn’t have their own affiliate program for you to promote their products. Instead, they join something called a CPA network, which is a place where a bunch of companies go to have their products promoted.

 

The CPA network has special software and actually makes tracking links for all of the different affiliate offers. If you have an account with one of these networks, you can sign in and see all the links you have in one place.

 

With this, you get paid by the CPA network, not by the company directly.

 

 

CPA affiliate marketing can be really great, because you don’t even have to get people to buy products in order to make money.

 

You can get paid lots of different ways with CPA marketing. This could be per click, sale, download, form, call, or something else.

 

You’ll notice that when affiliate networks give you a custom tracking link, it’s usually big and ugly. I always advise people to cloak their links, which means to run it through a program that allows it to look shorter and easier to read.

 

When you send someone to a link, it drops what’s called a cookie on the computer. And that computer tracks them, so that whenever the click, sale, download, form, or whatever action happens that is needed, the cookie will be triggered.

 

Then, the affiliate company will know that the action came from your own personal link.

 

Follow the Rules

 

When you’re doing this, you always want to follow the directions, and follow the terms and conditions.

 

If you don’t follow the terms and conditions, you probably won’t get paid. And not getting paid sucks.

 

No matter where you go to get offers that you’re promoting, each offer will have certain traffic types that are allowed. Here are some examples of possible traffic types:

 

• Email
• Contextual
• Display
• Search
• Incentives
• Social
• Native
• Mobile ads

But you’ll see that not all of these may be allowed, or perhaps there are others allowed that aren’t on this list. But this gives you an idea.

 

Make sure to pay attention to what is allowed for the offer.

 

 

There may be other instructions that you have to follow as well. For example, for many offers, if you’re using editorial or content advertising in order to drive traffic, you have to disclose that you’re being paid for the traffic. You need an affiliate disclaimer.

 

You also usually can’t use any trademarked or branding terms in your advertisements. That means you can’t use the names, and you also can’t include images of branded products.

When looking for affiliate offers, I usually recommend OfferVault. This is not an affiliate network, but rather a search engine where you can find a bunch of affiliate networks.

 

 

So you can search theme to look for all different kinds of products, and then you can join with the networks whose products you want to promote.

Affiliate link: A link used by an affiliate, provided by a company or affiliate network

 

Affiliate program: A program where a company pays affiliates to generate sales, leads, downloads, clicks, etc.

 

Click-through: Where you have your tracking link; how many times people click

 

Click-through rate: Taking clicks and putting them over impressions; how many times your ad was shown versus how many times it was clicked

 

Commission: The amount you are paid for the conversion

 

Cookies: The code placed on a computer when an affiliate link is clicked

 

CPA: Cost per acquisition, or cost per action

 

CPC: Cost per click; the amount that a click costs you

 

CPL: Cost per lead; how much you’re making per lead

 

CPM: Cost per 1,000 impressions

 

CPS: Cost per sale; how much it’s costing per sale

 

Creative: What you’re using to show the ad; whatever is created to promote the offer

 

Disclaimer: Warning to the customer; you usually need to have an affiliate disclaimer and a claim disclaimer

 

Direct link: Using a big, ugly tracking link to send people directly to an offer

 

 

Earnings per click: The amount you earn per click

 

Email marketing: Sending offers to people through email

 

 

Impression: How many times your ad shows on a website

 

Incentivized traffic: Placing an incentive for a person to do the desired action

 

Landing page: The page that your traffic lands on from the traffic source.

 

Lead capture page: Instead of sending people to offers directly, you use this page to build a mailing list

 

 

Manual approval: Requesting approval manually to join a network or program, instead of automatically getting approved

 

Offer: The promotion that you’re running

 

Opt in email: The email address of someone who puts their name and email in a box

 

Pixel: A little thing on the site that drops a cookie on your computer; also called a tracking pixel

 

Pre-populate: Sending people to an offer with their name and email already in the opt in box

 

Pre-sale page: A page that provides a solution and shows people why they need to buy a product, then has a cloaked link to send people to the offer

 

Raw click: Someone who clicks on your raw affiliate link

 

Redirection: When you redirect someone from a site to another site with your offer; same as cloaking a link

 

Return on investment: The amount of money you’re making versus the amount you pay

 

Sub ID: Something you put on the end of your affiliate link; also known as a tracking ID

 

Splash page: A website where you send people, instead of direct linking

 

 

Tracking ID: Allows companies to know that the action came from your link

 

Text link: Link created only using text

 

Tracking software: Software the affiliate company uses to track everything

 

Traffic: How you get people to your site

 

Unique clicks: Each click gets registered uniquely, individually
