Let’s say I love skateboarding. Before I jump in, I want to see if skateboarding is already making money for someone else and how. Because if the monetization is selling a skateboard for a $0.47 commission, that’s probably not going to work.

So I look at domains, websites, niches, traffic — solid, concrete data. That tells me:

  • This is a real business

  • This is how it’s monetized

  • This is the traffic

Then I win.

Sometimes I’ll look at tools like SpamZilla or GoDaddy Auctions. You can even ask AI to find profitable niches — but make sure you add “income reports” so you’re seeing real site owners showing what they actually make.

It depends on how you connect it.
