Learn to Search Google the Right Way — and Build a Real Business With It
If you search YouTube for “make money searching Google” you will find hundreds of videos promising $1,200 a day just by typing things into a search bar. Money flying out of screens. 1,000% working. And on and on it goes.
So does it actually work that way? That is the question this post is going to answer. And not only that, I am going to show you how learning to search Google the right way — something I figured out over 27 years ago — helped me build several businesses, some of which went on to make over seven figures. It all has to do with the way you search.
But before we get into that, a story from the 1800s.
The Man Who Organized Everything: The Dewey Decimal Story
Back in the 1800s there was a guy named Melvil Dewey. He went to libraries and noticed that everything was kind of a mess. Sure, the religious books were in one corner and the dictionaries were in another, but it was very difficult to find things. So he started organizing the library.
If this sounds familiar, get excited. Because you are about to have the same aha moment I had years ago that helped me understand the internet in a unique way and build businesses from it.
Step 1 — The Problem: Where Is It?
Before the Dewey Decimal System, libraries were chaos. Thousands of books, no consistent order, no way to find anything without asking a librarian who might not know either. This is the internet today for 99% of people. They know the information exists somewhere. They just cannot find it. They type one vague word into Google and hope for the best.
Step 2 — The System: A Place for Everything
In 1876, Melvil Dewey published a 44-page pamphlet that changed everything. He assigned every subject a number — 000 through 900 — and every book a precise decimal address. Cooking was 641. French cooking was 641.5. French pastry was 641.5’65. The more decimal places, the more specific. Suddenly any librarian in the world could find any book in any library without asking a single question.
This is exactly what Google did in 1998. And now they are estimated to be a $4.5 trillion company — yes, trillion with a T — all by organizing the world’s information.
Step 3 — The Result: Find It in 3 Seconds
The librarian who knows the system does not wander. He walks directly to section 641.5, pulls the card from the catalog drawer, reads the shelf number, and has the book in his hand in three seconds flat. That is you, after this guide. While everyone else is typing “car problems” into Google and scrolling through ten pages of useless results, you are typing P0420 Toyota Camry fix cost 2022 and landing on the exact answer — or better yet, you are building the page that answers it and collecting the traffic, the leads, and the revenue from every person who searches it.
The system is the edge. The edge is the money.
Dewey did not organize books by title or author. He organized them by subject and specificity. Your seed strings work the same way. P0 is the category. P0420 is the specific book on the shelf. Add a buyer word — P0420 fix cost Toyota — and you have the exact page number. That is the system.
The Uncomfortable Truth About How People Search
There are over 8.5 billion searches done on Google every single day. And 350 million people a month actually Google the word Google. People search for YouTube instead of just typing youtube.com. They search for Facebook instead of going directly to facebook.com. They search for “weather” without even putting in their city.
Being a search marketer for over 27 years, I have learned that a lot of people do not know how to find what they are looking for. And our job is to go and help them.
The uncomfortable truth is that the average person is pretty bad at using Google. These are navigational searches — people using the world’s most powerful information tool as a glorified address bar. They are not looking for opportunities. They are not looking for solutions. They are just trying to get somewhere they already know exists.
Because the masses are generic, there is serious money to be made in the specific. This is what I have done for 27 years. This is what I have accelerated using AI.
The Top Generic Searches That Prove the Point:
- YouTube — 151 million monthly US searches (people use Google as a navigation bar)
- Amazon — 124 million monthly (could just type amazon.com)
- Facebook — 124 million monthly (pure navigational, zero intent signal)
- Google — 55.6 million monthly (searching for a search engine on a search engine)
- Weather — 55.6 million monthly (no city, no zip, completely non-actionable)
- Gmail — 55.6 million monthly (could type gmail.com)
- News — 30.4 million monthly (no topic, no source, most generic possible intent)
- Restaurants — 97.8 million global (no city, no cuisine, no price range)
Source: Semrush via Backlinko & Exploding Topics, 2025–2026 data.
The insight is that because the masses are generic, there is serious money to be made in the specific. The person who builds tools, content, and services for highly specific, intent-driven searches is not competing with everyone — they are serving the few who are ready to act. And those people pay.

Generic vs. Specific: Where the Money Actually Lives
The entire game of online business, affiliate marketing, freelancing, and digital products comes down to one simple principle. Specificity equals value. The more specific the problem you solve, the less competition you face, and the more a person is willing to pay for the answer.
Generic Searches (Masses) — No Money:
- “best cars 2026”
- “how to lose weight”
- “make money online”
- “best laptop”
- “restaurants near me”
- “how to invest”
Specific Searches (Buyers) — Real Money:
- “2026 RAV4 Hybrid dealer fee negotiation Texas”
- “lose 20 lbs with hypothyroidism over 50”
- “AI chatbot setup for Dallas hair salon”
- “best laptop under $800 video editing 2026”
- “best Italian restaurant open Sunday Dallas TX”
- “Roth IRA vs 401k self-employed freelancer”
The Rule: Every time you add a modifier — a city, a price range, a specific condition, a specific outcome — you cut the competition in half and double the buyer intent. Stack three or four modifiers and you have a near-zero-competition opportunity with a highly motivated audience.
The Librarian vs. The Wanderer:
- Wanderer searches “car problems” — Librarian searchesÂ
P0420 Toyota Camry fix cost 2022 - Wanderer searches “washing machine broken” — Librarian searchesÂ
WFW8620HC error code F5 E3 fix - Wanderer searches “printer ink” — Librarian searchesÂ
CE410A compatible HP LaserJet Pro 400 - Wanderer searches “real estate investing” — Librarian searchesÂ
APN 1234-567-890 owner history Dallas TX - Wanderer searches “laptop upgrade” — Librarian searchesÂ
i7-1165G7 vs Ryzen 5 5600U video editing benchmark - Wanderer searches “AC not working” — Librarian searchesÂ
R410A recharge cost 3-ton unit Dallas 2026
The Dewey Decimal System did not make books more valuable. It made them findable. The internet has more value locked inside it than any library in history — but 99% of it is unfindable to the average person. You now have the system. That is your edge.
The New Car Example: Following the Money All the Way Through
Just last week I was helping one of my employees who manages the office. She came to me and asked if I could help her get a deal on a car. This is something I have been known for around the office — helping people understand how to buy a car without getting taken to the cleaners.
She would do the normal stuff. Go to Carvana. Look at whatever place had cars. So I showed her a different way to find things that are a lot more specific so we could find the deals we actually want.
76% of car buyers say that online research influenced their final purchase decision. One documented car buyer made over 900 digital interactions before buying. This is a massive, high-value journey full of specific micro-moments. But most of those 76% do not really know how to research. That is the gap.
Stage 1 — The Generic Wanderer. Someone decides they want a new car. They open Google and type “best new cars 2026” or “SUV reviews.” They get a wall of results from Car and Driver, MotorTrend, and Consumer Reports. Massive, authoritative sites with millions of backlinks. Impossible to compete with. Your opportunity here: ZERO. Too broad, too competitive.
Stage 2 — The Narrowing Searcher. They come back and search “Toyota RAV4 vs Honda CR-V 2026.” Still dominated by big publishers, but slightly more specific. They are researching, not yet buying. Your opportunity: Small.
Stage 3 — The Specific Researcher (The Money Zone Begins). They have narrowed it down to the RAV4 Hybrid. Now they search “2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid reliability issues” or “RAV4 Hybrid real-world mpg highway.” Forums, Reddit threads, and niche auto blogs can rank here. Your opportunity: Growing.
Stage 4 — The Ready Buyer (Maximum Money Zone). They are ready to buy. Now they search for:
- “How to negotiate Toyota RAV4 Hybrid price 2026”
- “What dealer fees are negotiable in Texas?”
- “RAV4 Hybrid extended warranty worth it Reddit”
- “Car loan calculator with trade-in and tax credit Texas 2026”
- “Best time of year to buy a new Toyota”
Your opportunity: MASSIVE. These are high-intent, low-competition searches. Big publishers don’t answer these well. Local nuance makes it even harder for national sites to rank. This is where you build.
I went through and looked at dealer fees as a keyword. 8,700 people a month search for things related to car dealer fees. That is a lot of people. Even if I get just a few of them and I have a way to save them money, I have a business.
I remember taking my daughter to buy a car and the dealer wanted to add $10,000 and called it a “discount fee.” To a lot of people that sounds fine. That dealership was packed with people paying too much. If I can help those people, I can build a business around it.
And people are already paying for this. Car Edge has a concierge service for $999 that saves buyers an average of $2,200. Car Edge AI buying agent charges $79 and uses Google search strings to find the deal. Car Concierge Pro charges $70 a vehicle. Costco Auto Program saves buyers about $1,000 on average. The market exists. All those people are doing is searching Google the right way.
The Full Blueprint Applied to the Car Example:
- Find the Gap:Â SearchÂ
site:reddit.com/r/askcarsales "RAV4 Hybrid" "dealer fee" "Texas" to find real unanswered questions from real buyers in real pain right now. - Validate the Demand: Use a keyword tool to confirm search volume. Even 500 searches/month for a high-intent term like “Texas RAV4 dealer fee negotiation” is worth building for — these people are about to spend $40,000.
- Build the Solution with AI:Â Prompt ChatGPT: “Write a comprehensive guide on how to negotiate Toyota RAV4 Hybrid prices at Texas dealerships in 2026, including which fees are mandatory, which are negotiable, and what the average out-the-door price should be.”
- Build a Tool: Create a simple “Texas Auto Out-the-Door Price Calculator” — enter MSRP, trade-in value, and zip code, get estimated final price with fees. This is a lead magnet or a $9 digital product.
- Monetize: Option A: Sell the calculator/guide as a $9–$29 digital product on Gumroad. Option B: Capture emails and sell leads to local Dallas Toyota dealerships ($5–$25 per lead). Option C: Add an affiliate link to a car-buying negotiation course. Option D: Offer a $99 “I’ll negotiate your car deal for you” consulting service.
The lesson: the person searching “best cars 2026” is browsing. The person searching “how to negotiate RAV4 Hybrid price Dallas Texas” is buying. Build for buyers. Serve the specific. The money is always in the details.

Master the Google Search Operators
Google search operators are precision instruments that separate casual searchers from opportunity hunters. Each operator is a filter that cuts through millions of irrelevant results and surfaces exactly what you need.
site: — Restrict results to a specific website. Example:Âsite:reddit.com freelance writingintitle: — Find pages with a keyword in the title. Example:Âintitle:"write for us" financeinurl: — Find pages with a keyword in the URL. Example:Âinurl:affiliate-program SaaSfiletype: — Find specific file types. Example:Âmarket research filetype:pdf"exact" — Force exact phrase match. Example:Â"recurring commission" affiliate-exclude — Remove results with a specific word. Example:Â"best tools" -site:amazon.comOR / | — Search for either of two terms. Example:Â"writer" OR "copywriter" hireafter: — Filter results published after a date. Example:ÂAI tools after:2024-01-01related: — Find websites related to a domain. Example:Ârelated:upwork.comAROUND(X) — Find two terms within X words of each other. Example:ÂAI AROUND(3) freelance
Pro Tip — Combine Operators for Maximum Precision:
"personal finance" intitle:"write for us" OR inurl:"write-for-us" after:2023-01-01 -site:pinterest.com -site:instagram.com
This finds active personal finance blogs that accept guest posts, updated after 2023, excluding social media noise. That is the power of stacking operators.
The 3 Core Money-Making Methods
Method 1: Finding High-Paying Freelance Clients
Instead of competing on crowded platforms like Upwork or Fiverr, use precision search strings to find businesses actively looking for help — then use AI to craft irresistible outreach and deliver work at speed. Expected first income: 2–6 weeks.
Search strings to find clients:
"personal finance" intitle:"write for us" OR inurl:"write-for-us" -site:pinterest.comsite:reddit.com/r/Entrepreneur "looking for a" ("writer" OR "designer" OR "developer")site:yelp.com "no website" OR "website coming soon" [your city] [niche]
Method 2: AI-Powered Affiliate Marketing
Find lucrative affiliate programs and low-competition keywords that major publishers have overlooked, then use AI to build content that ranks and converts. Expected first commissions: 4–8 weeks.
Search strings to find programs:
"SaaS" "affiliate program" "recurring commission" -site:affiliateprograms.comsite:reddit.com "what is the best tool for" podcast editingsite:quora.com "what is the best" [niche] -inurl:profile
Method 3: Building & Selling Digital Products
Use Google to find pain points and unmet demands in specific communities, then use AI to create and sell digital products — ebooks, templates, courses, and custom chatbots. Expected first sale: 1–3 months.
Search strings to find pain points:
site:reddit.com "I hate how hard it is to" [industry task]site:gumroad.com [topic] "template" -"sold out""[your city]" ("salon" OR "restaurant" OR "clinic") "book appointment" -site:yelp.com
The Core Formula: Google operators act as your precision radar — cutting through noise to locate specific, high-value opportunities. AI tools are your high-speed execution engine — enabling you to produce content, write code, or deliver services at a fraction of the traditional cost.
The Key Mindset Shift: Most people search Google for information. You should search Google for opportunities. Every search string in this guide is designed to surface a specific type of money-making opportunity that is invisible to casual searchers.
Seed Strings: Unlock Thousands of Long-Tail Searches
Most people search with full words. The real opportunity hunters search with partial codes, model numbers, error codes, and industry prefixes — the kind of strings that reveal exactly what a frustrated buyer is typing into Google at 11pm trying to fix something.
Try these seed strings in your keyword tool or Google autocomplete. Each one can uncover hundreds or thousands of long-tail searches around products, repairs, compatibility, pricing, manuals, replacements, and troubleshooting — searches that big publishers completely ignore.
Vehicle / Automotive (VIN Prefixes & OBD Codes):
1HG, 1FA, 1GC, 1G1, 1C4, 2C3, 3FA, JHM, JTD, WBA, WVW, 5YJ, KMH, KNA, SAL, P0, P01, P03, P04, U0, B0, C0, ABS, TPMS, OBD, VIN, OEM, TSB
VIN prefixes identify specific makes/models. OBD codes (P0, U0, B0, C0) are diagnostic trouble codes people search when their check engine light comes on. Massive search volume, zero big-publisher competition.
Appliance Model Numbers:
WDT, WRS, WRT, WRX, WFW, WED, WFE, WFG, RF, RS, NE, FE, FG, ME, LFX, LMX, LS, WM, WT, DV, DLE, DVG, NX, DW
Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, GE appliance model prefixes. People search these when their washer/dryer/fridge breaks. They want a manual, a part number, or a repair guide — and they will pay for a clear answer.
Electronics / Computer Error Codes:
0x, 0xc, 0x8, 0x800, 0x801, 0x802, 0x803, 0xC000, BSOD, NTFS, BIOS, UEFI, TPM, RAM, GPU, SSD, M.2, NVMe, USB-C, HDMI, DP
Windows error codes (0x…) are searched millions of times daily by panicked users. A simple, clear fix guide for a specific error code can rank and convert extremely well.
Printer / Ink / Toner Part Numbers:
CE, CF, HP, TN, DR, LC, PG, CL, T0, T1, T2, 106R, 113R, 305A, 414A, 206A, 962, 952, 902, 910
Ink and toner part numbers are searched by buyers ready to purchase. Affiliate content around “compatible” or “replacement” versions of these codes converts at extremely high rates.
Phones / Batteries / Chargers:
A14, A15, A16, SM-, GT-, XT-, LM-, CPH, MGA, MQ, A2, EB-, BL-, BN-, HB-, BAT-, USB, PD, Qi
Samsung (SM-), LG (LM-), OPPO (CPH), and Apple model codes. Battery part numbers (EB-, BL-, BN-) are searched by people with dead phones who need a replacement — high urgency, high conversion.
Home Repair / HVAC / Plumbing Parts:
GFCI, AFCI, PEX, PVC, CPVC, NPT, MIP, FIP, R13, R15, R20, MERV, BTU, SEER, R22, R32, R410, R454
Refrigerant codes (R410A, R454B), insulation ratings (R13, R20), and pipe specs (NPT, PEX) are searched by homeowners and contractors who need specific answers. Great for local service lead gen or affiliate content.
Power Tools / Machinery:
DCS, DCF, DCD, DW, DCB, M18, M12, KX, FS, TS, MS, BR, BG, SR, CS, XDT, XPH, BL, 18V, 20V, 40V
DeWalt (DCS, DCF, DCB), Milwaukee (M18, M12), Makita (XDT, XPH) tool model prefixes. Battery compatibility searches alone (e.g., “M18 battery fits which tools”) generate enormous long-tail traffic.
Medical Device / Insurance Research Seeds:
ICD-, CPT, HCPCS, NDC, J0, E0, L0, K0, Z0, HSA, FSA, EOB, POS, NPI
Medical billing codes, insurance terminology, and device classification codes. Informational content around these terms serves patients, caregivers, and healthcare workers — a highly engaged, underserved audience.
Property / Public Records / Building Searches:
APN, PIN, PID, FEMA, FIRM, R-, C-, A-, B-, ZON, PLAT, MLS, HOA, parcel
Parcel numbers (APN, PIN), FEMA flood zone codes, zoning designations, and MLS terms are searched by homebuyers, investors, and real estate professionals. Tools that decode these codes are extremely valuable.
Software / GPU / Camera Model Seeds:
RTX, RX, GTX, i5-, i7-, i9-, M1, M2, M3, M4, Ryzen, XPS, G-, ZB, DS-, ILCE, EOS, DMC, XAVC
Nvidia (RTX, GTX), AMD (RX, Ryzen), Apple Silicon (M1–M4), Sony cameras (ILCE), Canon (EOS), Panasonic (DMC). Compatibility, benchmark, and upgrade searches around these prefixes are evergreen and highly monetizable.
The Easiest Method: Seed + Buyer/Problem Word
Take any seed above, then add a buyer or problem word after it. Each combination is a potential niche, content piece, tool, or affiliate opportunity:
1HG value • 1HG parts • 1HG decoder • 1HG recall • WDT replacement part • WDT error code • WDT manual • 0xc000 fix • CE410A compatible printer • M18 battery replacement • R410A cost • APN owner lookup • P0420 fix cost • DCF887 vs DCF899 • ILCE-7M4 settings • RTX 4070 benchmark • SM-G998B battery • TN760 compatible • MERV 13 vs MERV 11 • HOA fee dispute Texas
Each of these is a real search with real buyer intent. Most have no dedicated, well-optimized page answering them. That gap is your opportunity.
Pro Tip: Paste any seed string into Google and watch the autocomplete suggestions. Each suggestion is a real search from a real person with a real problem. Build a tool, guide, or product that solves that specific problem — and you have a business.

How to Make Money With This: The 4 Models
You now have the search skills, the seed strings, and the AI execution playbook. Here is exactly how to turn that into income.
Model 1: Traffic Arbitrage
Find cheap traffic. Send it somewhere that pays more. Keep the spread. Use Google operators to find questions that get searched constantly but have weak answers ranking. Build a fast answer page with AI. Monetize the traffic with Google AdSense, Ezoic, or Mediavine ads, or add affiliate links to parts or services. Scale with more seeds. Repeat for 50–200 seed-based pages across different niches. Each page is a small traffic asset. Combined, they generate passive income 24/7.
Traffic sources: SEO (free, very high margin), Pinterest/social (free, high margin), paid ads (medium margin, requires optimization), email newsletter (low cost, high margin with owned audience).
Model 2: Make Tools — Use for Traffic
Build a free tool that solves a specific problem. Let Google send you buyers forever. Free tools are the single best SEO asset you can build in 2026. They attract backlinks naturally, rank for high-intent keywords, get bookmarked and shared, and keep visitors on your page longer than any article.
Tool ideas from the seed strings:
- VIN Decoder & Value Estimator (seeds: 1HG, 1FA, 1GC) — monetize with CarGurus/AutoTrader affiliate links and local dealer lead gen
- OBD Error Code Lookup & Fix Cost Calculator (seeds: P0, P01, U0) — massive search volume, zero good free tools
- Appliance Part Finder (seeds: WDT, WFW, DLE) — people searching these are already holding a broken appliance, conversion rate is sky high
- Windows Error Code Fixer (seeds: 0x800, 0xC000, BSOD) — monetize with affiliate links to PC cleaning software and RAM upgrades
- Ink/Toner Compatibility Checker (seeds: CE, CF, TN, 305A) — ink is a repeat-purchase category, build an email list here
- HVAC Refrigerant Cost Calculator (seeds: R410A, R454B, BTU, SEER) — monetize with HVAC contractor lead gen at $25–$75 per lead
- Parcel / APN Lookup Tool (seeds: APN, PIN, FEMA, MLS) — monetize with real estate agent referrals or a $9/month subscription for investors
- Power Tool Battery Compatibility Finder (seeds: M18, M12, DCB, 20V) — contractors and DIYers search this constantly, high purchase intent
Model 3: Make Tools — Sell Them
Not every tool needs to be free. When a tool solves a specific, recurring professional problem, people will pay for it.
- VIN batch decoder (CSV upload) — target: used car dealers, fleet managers — $29/mo SaaS or $99 one-time
- OBD code repair estimate generator — target: independent auto shops — $49/mo per shop
- Appliance parts cross-reference database — target: appliance repair techs — $19/mo subscription
- Medical billing code cheat sheet PDF — target: private practice billing staff — $29 one-time download
- Zoning & APN lookup report generator — target: real estate investors — $5 per report or $49/mo
- GPU benchmark comparison tool — target: PC builders, gamers — free + affiliate or $9/mo ad-free
- Ink/toner cost-per-page calculator — target: office managers, SMBs — $9 one-time or free + upsell
- HVAC load calculator (Manual J simplified) — target: HVAC contractors, homeowners — $79 one-time or $29/mo
How to build and sell a tool in 48 hours: pick a seed category where professionals search the same thing repeatedly, build the MVP with AI (use ChatGPT to write the logic, Replit to build the interface), set up payments with Gumroad or Stripe, post in the relevant subreddit or Facebook group to drive initial traffic, iterate based on feedback.
Model 4: Services & Side Hustles
Services are the fastest path to cash. You do not need a product, a tool, or a website. You need a skill (or the ability to use AI to deliver one), a way to find clients (the search operators), and the ability to deliver results.
- Auto Dealer SEO & Lead Gen: Build hyper-local content pages for dealerships using VIN and OBD seed strings. Charge $500–$2,000/month per dealer. Find clients:Â
site:yelp.com "car dealer" [city] - Appliance Repair Content Agency: Build model-number-specific repair guides for appliance repair companies. Charge per article or retainer. $300–$800 per article or $1,500/mo retainer.
- Windows Error Fix Service: Offer remote PC repair for specific 0x error codes. Find clients on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, or Nextdoor. $49–$99 per session.
- Real Estate APN Research Service: Offer parcel research reports for real estate investors. $25–$75 per report. Find clients:Â
site:reddit.com/r/realestateinvesting "APN" OR "parcel number" - Camera / GPU Upgrade Consulting: Paid 1-on-1 consultations for photographers and PC builders. $49–$99 per 30-min call.
- Local Business Chatbot Setup: Build appointment booking automation for salons, restaurants, and clinics. $500–$2,000 setup + $99–$299/month maintenance.
- Medical Billing Code Explainer Service: Help patients understand their EOB, CPT codes, and HCPCS codes. $49–$149 per bill review.
- HVAC Contractor Lead Gen: Build landing pages targeting R410A and SEER-related searches in specific cities. Sell leads to local HVAC companies at $25–$75 each.
Quick Reference — Which Model Is Right for You?
- Traffic Arbitrage — best if you have time and patience for SEO — 4–12 weeks to first dollar — unlimited income ceiling
- Tools for Traffic — best if you have a specific niche audience to serve — 2–8 weeks — high passive income
- Tools to Sell — best if you have a professional problem to solve — 1–4 weeks — very high recurring SaaS potential
- Services & Hustles — best if you need cash now — 1–7 days — medium ceiling unless systemized
Stop Searching One at a Time — Let AI Run the Searches For You
This is the upgrade most people miss. You have learned the operators. You have the seed strings. Now stop doing this manually, one search at a time, and start using AI as your automated research engine that runs dozens of searches, synthesizes the results, and hands you a finished opportunity report.
The Old Way — Manual, Slow, Exhausting: Search 1, read 10 results, take notes. Search 2, read 15 threads, take notes. Search 3, read 8 results, take notes. Search 4, read 12 answers, take notes. 2–3 hours later you have a messy doc of notes and no clear action.
The AI Way — Automated, Fast, Actionable: One prompt to AI with web access: “Run these 4 searches and give me a summary of the top affiliate opportunities, unanswered questions, and buyer pain points for podcast editing software.” AI runs all 4 searches simultaneously, reads and synthesizes 45+ results, returns a structured report with top affiliate programs, top 5 unanswered questions from Reddit, 3 content gaps to fill, and a recommended first action step. Time: 90 seconds.
I use Manus because it actually does multiple searches at one time and then reports back with what I want. I was looking for how much people pay over MSRP and it came back with the average person paying $295 over on a $27,000 car. That is data I can use for a sales letter, a tool, a piece of content, or a service offer. I also used it to find all the WordPress AI tools that got funding — not “what are some good ways to do a side hustle” but “what are businesses that actually made money and where is the gap.” That is the difference.
The Master Prompt — Full Opportunity Report (copy and paste into any AI with web access):
I want to find a money-making opportunity in the [SEED / NICHE] space. Please run the following searches and give me a structured report: 1. site:reddit.com “[SEED]” — find the top 5 pain points and questions people are asking. 2. “[NICHE]” “affiliate program” “recurring commission” — find the best affiliate programs. 3. site:gumroad.com “[NICHE]” “template” OR “guide” — find existing digital products and price points. 4. “[NICHE]” intitle:”write for us” after:2023-01-01 — find content opportunities. 5. site:yelp.com “[NICHE]” “no website” [CITY] — find local businesses to pitch. Summarize your findings: top 3 pain points, top 3 affiliate programs, top 3 digital product gaps, top 3 content opportunities, and recommended first action step with a specific search string to start with.
You are no longer a searcher. You are a search architect. You design the research system, AI runs it, and you act on the output. This is the difference between fishing with one line and dropping a net. Same ocean. Completely different catch.

Joggers — Memory Trigger Questions
Review these after watching to lock in the lessons.
- What is the #1 most searched term on Google? YouTube — 151M+ monthly US searches. People use Google as a navigation bar, not a research tool.
- Why is “Google” being searched on Google significant? 350 million people/month search for Google on Google — proof that most users have no idea how to use the tool they’re on.
- What is the difference between a navigational and a transactional search? Navigational = going somewhere (YouTube, Facebook). Transactional = ready to buy or act. Money is in transactional.
- In the car example, at what stage does the real money appear? Stage 4 — when the buyer searches for specific transaction details: fees, negotiation, local pricing, trade-in value.
- What does the site: operator do? Restricts results to a specific website. E.g.,Â
site:reddit.com shows only Reddit results. - What is the fastest method to first income? Freelancing — 2 to 6 weeks. Find clients with operators, deliver with AI.
- How do you find businesses that need a website?Â
site:yelp.com "no website" OR "website coming soon" [city] [niche] - What is the core formula of this blueprint? Google operators = precision radar to find opportunities. AI tools = execution engine to deliver solutions at speed.
- What is the mindset shift required? Stop searching Google for information. Start searching Google for opportunities.
- How much can you charge for a custom AI chatbot for a local business? $500–$2,000 per setup using tools like Botpress or Dialogflow.
- What makes a search string “specific” enough to be profitable? Add 3–4 modifiers: a niche, a location, a specific outcome, a price range. Each modifier cuts competition and raises buyer intent.
- What is the after: operator used for? Filters results to only show pages published after a specific date — great for finding fresh opportunities and recent content gaps.

The One Skill That Has Paid Me for 27 Years
Will searching Google make you rich just by searching? No. Google does not pay for searches. However, you can help people find what they are looking for in a very straightforward way by learning how to search Google much like Dewey did back in the 1800s when he organized the library. And that was valuable.
My wife’s family always calls her to book flights. And she always turns to me and says “Do you guys not have Google in Texas?” That is the joke. Because a lot of people do not know how to search the internet. And that is a huge opportunity, especially in the age of AI.
This is the one skill I learned years ago that I still use on a day-to-day basis today. Organized information is valuable. Information structured differently can build you a business. Start learning this stuff. It might not get you results overnight, but it is a starting point to understand how business works online. And once you understand it, it opens up the whole world.
